Jedan od najreprezentativnijih stambenih objekata iz perioda otomanske uprave u gradu Mostaru je zasigurno Bievi-Lakii- Bijedi stambeni kompleks. Lociran neposredno uz lijevu obalu Neretve odlikuje se visokom spomenikom i ambijentalnom vrijednou, posebno atraktivno akcentiranim jednistveno rjeenim doksatom-velikim okom oslonjenim na visoke kamene stubove (h=8m).U ovom radu bavicemo se Bicevica kuom s obzirom da je ona jos uvijek u originarnom stanju, za sada bez velikih intervencija u konstrukciji. Projekat za njenu sanaciju uraden je 2009/2010 godine na Gradevinskom fakultetu Univerziteta Demal Bijedi u Mostaru. Objekat obiluje raznim strukturama od drveta vertikalni nosivi elementi,meduspratne , stropne i krovne konstrukcije. S obzirom da je vrijednost ovog objekta neprocjenjiva tako su i saznanja o tradicionalnim metodama gradnje ovih konstrukcija kao i o materijalima koji su koristeni neiscrpan izvor saznanja o vjestinam gradnje nasih predaka. Ovim radom priblizicemo nacine, sisteme i vjestine gradenja od drveta u Mostaru za vrijeme otoimanskog perioda

One of the most representative residential buildings in the city of Mostar from the Ottoman period is certainly Bievi-Lakii- Bijedi residential complex. The building is located right by the left bank of river Neretva. It is characterized by high monumental and ambient value especially attractive accented unique solved oriel - "large corner" resting on high stone pillars (h = 8m).In this paper the authors will deal with Bievi house considering that it is still in the original condition and so far without major intervention in the structure. Rehabillitation project is completed in 2009/2010 by the Faculty of civil engineering, University Demal Bijedi in Mostar. The building abounds with various wood structures - vertical load-bearing elements, floor, ceiling and roof structures. The value of this building is priceless, as well as the knowledge of traditional construction methods and materials used for these structures, which are an inexhaustible source of knowledge about construction skills of our ancestors.This paper will describe modes, systems and skills of wood construction in Mostar during the Ottoman period.
