“The whole world right now is about instant gratification,” said Matt McKenna, the founder and
president of Red Fish Media.
When it comes to consumer engagement strategy and execution,
Matt McKenna, Red Fish Media’s founder and president, continues to
establish himself as a thought leader in the industry. He has propelled
Red Fish Media to help clientele like Ralph Lauren establish themselves
as Mobile Marketer of the year. His goal of dominating the mobile
marketing an social media application space is not just a lofty ambition,
it’s a part of McKenna’s daily strategy.
From politics to natural disaster relief, McKenna has overseen Red Fish
Media’s diverse clientele through a multitude of successful campaigns.
Since the inception of Red Fish, McKenna has partnered with leading
businesses, like Google, who turned to Red Fish Media’s services
for its Zeitgeist conference. McKenna also helmed Red Fish Media’s
involvement with Starbucks text-to-win trivia games. He is responsible
for creating and powering programming that allowed the general
public to text questions to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. And when
disaster stuck, McKenna and Red Fish Media helped raise millions of
dollars through mobile donations benefiting the Haitian relief effort, as
well as helping educate the world on how to give via text.
McKenna has helped grow the initial grass roots company into a well-
established mobile marketing agencyresponsible for executing successful national mobile marketing and social media campaigns for brands like Microsoft, Nike,
MGM Resorts International, DNKY, Wonderbag, BBC America, Saks Fifth Avenue, Coach, Subaru, Perry Ellis, Mars, Kellogg’s, HP, Anheuser-Busch, Fox News,
American Apparel, Mazda, Guitar Center, Heineken, Wrigley, Family Dollar, P&G, Tory Burch, Puma, Citgo, Estee’ Lauder and many more.
With the increasing popularity of mobile and social marketing, McKenna’s roles have expanded to include published author and speaker at conferences and industry
shows around the world. He has become a go-to expert for the media when it comes to explaining cutting-edge effective and engaging mobile strategies. He is
featured in The New York Times best-selling book “Get Rich Click!” and has appeared in a multitude of major publications and several national and international
television programs. In addition to Red Fish Media, the Miami resident, by way of Boston, has a passion for and a background in music. After a successful stint
running his own record label and record store, McKenna pursued a DJ career that took him around the world and garnered him spots on top 10 lists for three records
he produced and released. McKenna not only credits his musical background for kick-starting his fascination with and forays into technology, but also his undying
entrepreneurial spirit.
The Mobile Show: Dubai, UAE
Matt delivered the opening keynote address at the Middle East’s first mobile trade show. The Mobile Show which had over 3,000 people in
attendance is the region’s largest expo for mobile technology, applications and solutions. It was a two day event which brought Telco’s, brands and
agencies together to explore new opportunities in the mobile arena. Matt’s keynote address titled “It’s intimate, immediate and imitable” focused
on mobile’s ability to bring real-time benefits to consumers and brands, leverage location awareness to turn campaigns into cash, and exploit the
unique and personal nature of marketing via a mobile device.

SXSW: Austin, Texas
Matt lead the panel at the Tweet House 2012 held during SXSW. The Tweet House is where Silicon Valley and Hollywood meet to celebrate
Twitter and the Real-Time Web. Hundreds of innovators in the entertainment and tech industries gather at SXSW in Austin, TX to showcase
creativity and emerging technology. Matt’s panel titled “Developing for the Millennial Market: What Drives Downloads” showcased mobile’s
ability to engage consumers, increase interaction with brands and drive downloads.

The Globe Forum: Stockholm, Sweden
Joined by his peers of innovative thinkers, Matt McKenna, lead the panel at the Globe Forum in Stockholm. The panel discussed how interactive the
world has become through social media, online services and mobile applications. The Globe Forum reviewed many of the existing and upcoming
business opportunities in creating sustainable cities. The Forum took a bold step forward to envision new technologies and their impact on business

Sundance Film Festival: Park City, Utah
Matt McKenna and longtime friend Wyclef Jean were invited to speak at The Tweet House during the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Being one of
the first responders to the earthquake that rocked Haiti, Matt discussed how the combination of Twitter and mobile technology revolutionized how
non-profits and businesses drive engagement and conversion. Matt outlined development and execution of the Yéle Haiti mobile campaign and
demonstrated how a single tweet from @Wyclef was able to generate a million dollars in donations.

At the 2014 MMA Mobile CEO/CMO Summit, Red Fish Media’s President and Founder, Matt McKenna, sat down with longtime client Justin Roisman,
Perry Ellis, to discuss consumer acquisition in the digital age. Selecting the perfect marketing mix to attract consumers is an art form that both
men have mastered. In the session, Matt and Justin put a new spin on the age-old adage marketers live by: “Attract- Engage- Convert- Retain”. They
identified key elements to a successful consumer acquisition strategy and touched upon topics such as mobile & digital marketing, social media,
creative campaigns, relevant content, market segmentation and brand equity.

Matt McKenna, led the Money20/20 panel- “CX: What Financial Services Companies Can Learn from Other Industries”. Matt provided expert
insights regarding digital marketing and the consumer experience to top influencers in the financial industry. The panel focused on creativity and
case studies of other markets to help bring a fresh new look to financial services. Money20/20 is the largest global event focused on payments and
financial services innovation for connected commerce at the intersection of mobile, retail, marketing services, data and technology. With 10,000+
