@ GM( General Motors Coorporation, Michigan, USA )
This is an excerpt from my car seat de-
velopment work done in Vehicle Interior
Design at the Advanced Global Design
Centre of GM, North America for my
Final Diploma project ( internship) from
May 2008 to November 2008.
The material explored is felt with Polyl
inserts. The swatch was made on a table
top hand stitching m/c of my room mate
in Mchigan.
The objective of the development was
to provide not only cushioned comfort
and aesthetics but also to render padded
accupressure points for the passengers
during the long bumpy rides on the roads
of rural Russia.
I had also forecasted & designed a few
car seat prints that I had developed for
Chevy Vehicles.
