MonochromaticHarmony
Typeface: Book Antiqua
Monochromatic harmony is chosen because the artworks
arecolorful. I used Book Antiqua for its simple and modernstyle,
corresponding to the style of Ai Weiweis artworks.
After collecting the main life events and artworks, I decidedto
use 12 years as a cycle, representing the zodiac of 12 yearsin
Chinese calendar. The spiral layout is an abstract shape of
growth ring of a tree, showing how Ais life and artworkshas
developed through time.
