dreams.

Itriedtoportrayoptimismthroughtheuseofbright,saturatedcolorsand

blurrededges.Themajorityofthepicturesconsistsred,orangeandyellow,the

warmcolors,whicharethehappiest.Peoplewholookatbrightercolorsnormally

experiencepositiveemotions.Theblurrededgesrepresentthedreamsthatpeople

areencouragedtogoafter.Thecostumewasalow‐keyoutfittoshowthatanyone

canachievetheirdream.Moneyorclassdoesnotmatter.Thenaturallandscapeis

supposedtobeinspirationalandportraythelimitlessopportunitiesinlife.Adog

wasinoneoftheimagesasanexampleofsomethingthatcanbeinspiring;showing

thatinspirationscomeinalldifferentforms.Themodelatthepiano,playingthe

guitar,orholdingacamerawasideasofdreamsthatsomepeoplemayhave.

Overall,getinspiredandchaseafteryourdream!

ThechallengeIhadwascapturingtheimages.IknewwhatIwantedbutthe

picturesItookwerenotexactlylikewhatIhadinmind.Afterincreasingthe

saturationandincludingothersettleeffects,Ithinkthatgavetheimagesmore

potential.Takingpictureswasalotoffun.Myfavoriteoneisprobablythegirl

playingtheguitarortheonewhenshe’satthepiano,withherdogbyherside.

I chose to use optimism as an aesthetic.
