A little help with answering questions: The verb in a question is USUALLY the

verb you will use in its answer.

Direct object pronounsThis is just a fancy word for a little

word that replaces a big one.

Example:Do you see the girl with the pink

hair, blue leggings, and fanny pack?

If I want to answer the question, I can say,

Yes, I see the girl with the pink hair, blue leggings, and fanny pack

But that’s kind of a mouthful…I can also say,Yes, I see HER.

There, I just used a direct object pronoun and it didn’t even hurt.

The direct object pronouns are:Me- me (pronounced meh)

Te- you (informal)Lo- him, it, you (Ud.)La- her, it, you (Ud.)

Nos- usOs- y’all

Los- them, you (Uds.)Las- them, you (Uds.)

Adjective Agreement

Adjectives must agree with the noun they are referring to.Most adjectives will end in:“a” for a feminine adjective

“o” for a masculine adjective“as” for a feminine plural adjective

“os” for a masculine plural adjective

La regla blanca

Regla (ruler) is feminine, so blanca (white) must be

feminine.

El lápiz amarillo

Lápiz (pencil) is masculine, so amarillo (yellow) must be

masculine.

Las revistas aburridas

Revistas is feminine and plural,so aburridas (boring) must be

feminine and plural

Los amigos calvos

Amigos (friends) is plural masculine,

so calvos (bald) must be plural masculine)

If an adjective ends in an “e” it does not change for masculine or feminine,

just add an “s” if it is plural.Ex.
