The tenders are fixed to be conducted on 20.10.2017. The tender documents can be

purchased from the office of the undersigned during office hours up to 1 pm on the tender date

on producing attested copy ofthe registration card. Cost of tender form is non-refundable and

the tender form is not transferable. The filled up tender documents should be submitted on or

before 3 PM on the date of tender. It should be accompanied by all necessary documents and

required Eamest Money Deposit by way of Bankers Dernand Draft or fixed deposit or National

Savings certificate or any approved deposit drawn in favour oflpledged in the name ofDivisional Forest officer, Tirnber Sales Division, Kottayam payable at Kottayam. The

intending tenderors should furnish a preliminary agreernent in prescribed fonn in stamp paper

worth Rs.200/- along with Tender for each work. Tender No and name of the work should be

superscribed legibly on the sealed envelop containing the tender documents.

Incomplete tenders or tenders without necessary documents or required EMD or tenders

not in accordance with tender conditions will not be accepted. Tender will be opened at 3.30

PM on the same date in the presence those tenderors or their authorized representatives who

axe present at the time by the Divisional Forest Officer, Tirnber Sales Division, Kottayam or an

officer authorized by hirn. The Divisional Forest Officer, Timber Sales Division, Kottayam

reserves the right to exclude any work/ postpone to another notified date or also to reject any

tender without assigning any reason thereof. If the tender date happened to a holiday, or the

tender could not be conducted on the notified date due to any reasons, the tender will be

conducted at the same place and time on the next working day, as per the same conditions.

If the tender could not be conducted to the said date/dates, tender for the works will be

conducted at the above place and time with same conditions on 24.10.2011. If tender could not

be conducted even on this date necessary tender for such works will be conducted with sarne

condition at same place and time on 26.10.2017 . Tender for balance works, if any, will be

conducted on 30.10.201 7. And tender for remaining works, if any, will be conducted on

03.11.2017 and tender for remaining works if any will be conducted on 08.1 1.2017 at the same

place and time as per same conditions.

cost of tender forrns in respect of works rvith PAC up to Rs.50.000/- shall be

Rs.300+GST and in respect of works with PAC of above Rs.50,000/- up to 10 lakhs shall be

Rs.0.20% of cost of work + GST subject to minimum of Rs. 500/-+ GST and tnaxiuum of

Rs.2000 + GST. All existing rules, regulations, directions etc prescribed by Kerala PWD and

Kerala Forest Depaftment in respect of civil works shall be applicable for this Tender also.

Before commencing work or within a week after the date when acceptance of the tender

has been intirnated to hirn, the tenders shall deposit a sum sufficient to make up the balance of

5 (five) percent of the probable value of contract w-hich together with the Earnest Money

Deposited shall be treated as security lbr the proper fulflllnent of the sarne and shall execute

an agreement for the work in the PWD scheduled forrn. If he fails to do this or in the case of

pWD contracts not maintaining a specified progress (to be specified in each case in tlle tender

schedule) the EMD and security deposit shall be forfeited to Government and fresh tenders

shall be called for or the matter otherwise disposed off. If as a result of such tneasures, due to

the default of the tenderor to pay the requisite deposit, sign the contracts or take the possession

of the work, any loss to Government due to the sar. e rvill recovered frorl hitl as arrears of

revenue, but should it be saving to Goverrunent, the original contract or shall have no claim

whatever to the difference. Recoveries on this or any other account will be made fioln the sun-r

that may be due to the contract or on this any other subsisting Contracts under the revenue

recovery act, or otherwise the Govemrnent may decide.
