PRECAUZIONI IMPORTANTIDurante l’utilizzo di elettrodomestici, è consigliabileprendere alcune precauzioni per limitare il rischio di incendi,

2 Non toccare superfici calde.3 Non immergere cavo, spine o il corpo della macchina in

acqua o altro liquido per evitare incendi, scosse elettriche

o incidenti.4 Fare particolare attenzione durante l’utilizzo della

macchina espresso in presenza di bambini.5 Togliere la spina dalla presa se la macchina non viene

utilizzata o durante la pulizia. Farla raffreddare primadi inserire o rimuovere pezzi e prima di procedere allasua pulizia.

6 Non utilizzare la macchina con cavo o spina danneggiati

o in caso di guasti o rotture. Far controllare o ripararel’apparecchio presso il centro di assistenza più vicino.

7 L’utilizzo di accessori non consigliati dal produttorepossono causare danni a cose e persone.

8 Non utilizzare la macchina espresso all’aperto.9 Evitare che il cavo penda dal tavolo o che tocchi superfici

calde.10 Tenere la macchina espresso lontano da fonti di calore.

11 Controllare che la macchina espresso sia in posizione“Spento” prima di inserire la spina nella presa. Perspegnerla, posizionarla su “Spento” e rimuovere quindila spina dalla presa.

12 Utilizzare la macchina unicamente per uso domestico.13 Fare estrema attenzione durante l’utilizzo del vapore.

AVVERTENZALa macchina espresso è stata studiata unicamente per usodomestico. Qualsiasi intrevento di assistenza, fatta eccezione

per le operazioni di pulizia e di normale manutenzione,dovrà essere prestato da un centro di assistenza autorizzato.Non immergere la macchina in acqua. Qualsiasi riparazionedovrà essere effettuata unicamente dal centro di assistenzaautorizzato.

1 Controllare che il voltaggio indicato sulla targhettacorrisponda al vostro.

2 Non utilizzate mai acqua tiepida o calda per riempireil serbatoio dell’acqua. Utilizzate unicamente acquafredda.

3 Non toccate con le mani le parti calde della macchinaed il cavo di alimentazione durante il funzionamento.

4 Non pulire mai con detersivi corrosivi o utensili chegraffiano. É sufficiente un panno morbido inumidito conacqua.

5 Per evitare la formazione di calcare, si può utilizzareacqua minerale naturale.

ISTRUZIONI SUL CAVO

ELETTRICOA Viene fornito un cavo elettrico abbastanza corto per

evitare che si attorcigli o che vi inciampiate.B Si possono utilizzare, con molta attenzione, delleprolunghe omologate.

C Qualora venga utilizzata una prolunga, verificare:1 che il voltaggio riportato sulla prolunga sia

perlomeno, uguale al voltaggio elettricodell’elettrodomestico;

2 che sia munito di una spina a tre pin con messa a

terra (qualora il cavo dell’elettrodomestico sia diquesto tipo);3 che il cavo non penda dal tavolo per evitare di

inciamparvi.

GENERALITÀ

La macchina da caffè è indicata per la preparazione di

caffè espresso impiegando caffè in grani ed è dotata di

un dispositivo per l’erogazione del vapore e dell’acquacalda.

Il corpo della macchina, dall’elegante design, è stato

progettato per uso domestico e non è indicato per un

funzionamento continuo di tipo professionale.

eventuali danni in caso di:

• impiego errato e non conforme agli scopi previ-

sti;

• riparazioni non eseguite presso i centri d’assi-stenza autor izzati;

• manomiss ione del cavo d’alimentazione;

• manomiss ione di qualsiasi componente della

macchina;

• impiego di pezzi di ricambio ed accessori non

originali.

In questi casi viene a decadere la garanzia.

4 NORME DI SICUREZZA

IN CASO D’EMERGENZA

Estrarre immediatamente la spina dalla presa di rete.

UTILIZZARE ESCLUSIVAMENTE L’ APPARECCHIO

- In luogo chiuso.

- Per la preparazione di caffè, acqua calda, per montare illatte o per riscaldare bevande utilizzando vapore.

- Per l’impiego domestico.

NON UTILIZZARE MAI L’ APPARECCHIO

per scopi diversi da quelli sopra indicati, al fne di evitarepericoli.Non introdurre nei contenitori sostanze diverse da quelleindicate nel manuale istruzioni.Durante il normale riempimento di ogni contenitore, è obbli-gatorio chiudere tutti i contenitori vicini.Riempire il serbatoio acqua soltanto con acqua fresca po-tabile: acqua calda e/o altri liquidi possono danneggiare lamacchina.Non utilizzare acqua addizionata con anidride carbonica.La regolazione del macinacaffè deve essere eseguita soloquando quest’ultimo è in funzione.Nel macinacaffè è vietato introdurre le dita e qualsiasi ma-teriale che non sia caffè in grani.Prima di intervenire all’interno del macinacaffè disinserire lamacchina con l’interruttore generale e togliere la spina dallapresa di corrente.Non utilizzare, per scopi alimentari, l’acqua rimasta nel ser-batoio per alcuni giorni, lavare il serbatoio e riempirlo conacqua fresca potabile.

ALLACCIAMENTO ALLA RETE

Allacciare la macchina per caffè soltanto ad una presa dicorrente adeguata. La tensione deve corrispondere a quellaindicata sulla targhetta posta sull’apparecchio.

INSTALLAZIONE

- Scegliere un piano d’appoggio ben livellato. Non collocaresu superci incandescenti!

- Porre a 10 cm di distanza da pareti e piastre di cottura.- Non tenere a temperature inferiori a 0 °C, pericolo di dannida congelamento.

- La presa di corrente deve essere raggiungibile in ognimomento.

- Il cavo di alimentazione non deve essere danneggiato,legato con morsetti, posto su superfci incandescenti,ecc.

- Non lasciar pendere il cavo d’alimentazione. (Att.: Pericolod’inciampare o di far cadere l’apparecchio a terra.)

- Non portare o tirare la macchina per caffè tenendola per

il cavo d’alimentazione.PERICOLI

- L’apparecchio non è destinato ad essere utilizzato dapersone (compresi i bambini) con ridotte capacità siche,mentali o sensoriali o con esperienza e/o competenze

insufcienti, a meno che non siano sotto la supervisionedi una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza o nonvengano da essa istruite sull’uso dell’apparecchio.

- Tenere i bambini sotto supervisione, per evitare che gio-chino con l’apparecchio.

- L’apparecchio è pericoloso per i bambini. Se incustodito,disattivarlo.

- Non lasciare i materiali utilizzati per imballare la macchinaalla portata dei bambini.

- Non dirigere contro se stessi e/o altri il getto di vaporesurriscaldato e/o d’acqua calda: pericolo di scottature.

- Non inserire oggetti attraverso le aperture dell’apparecchio(Pericolo! Corrente elettrica!).

- Non toccare la spina con le mani e piedi bagnati nonestrarre dalla presa tirando il cavo.

- Attenzione pericolo di ustioni al contatto con l’acqua calda,

il vapore e il beccuccio per l’acqua calda/il vapore.

GUASTI

- Non utilizzare l’apparecchio in caso di guasto accertato osospetto, ad es. dopo una caduta.

- Eventuali riparazioni devono essere effettuate dal servizioassistenza autorizzato.

- Non utilizzare un apparecchio con cavo di alimentazionedifettoso. Se il cavo d’alimentazione è danneggiato, deveessere cambiato dal produttore o dal suo servizio assi-stenza clienti. (Pericolo! Corrente elettrica!).

- Spegnere l’apparecchio prima di aprire lo sportello diservizio. Pericolo di ustioni!

PULIZIA / DECALCIFICAZIONE

- Prima della pulizia, estrarre la spina di rete e lasciareraffreddare l‘apparecchio.

- Impedire che l’apparecchio venga a contatto con schizzid’acqua o immerso in acqua.

- Non asciugare le parti della macchina in forni convenzionalie/o a microonde.

- Non utilizzare alcol etilico, solventi e/o agenti chimici ag-gressivi.

Per ragioni di sicurezza, utilizzare solo parti di ricambio eaccessori originali.

INSTALLAZIONE / CARICAMENTO CIRCUITO

A pag .17 sono riportati i messaggi che la macchina forn isce al l’utente durante i l funzionamento.

Verifcare che tutti i com-ponenti siano posizionaticorrettamente.

Riempire il contenitore concaffè in grani.

Riempire il serbatoio conacqua fresca potabile.

Inserire la spina in una pre-sa di corrente adeguata.

Vedi targhetta dati

Premere l’interruttore sullaposizione “I” per accenderela macchina.

La macchina si sta riscal-dando; le spie lampeggia-no.

Inserire un contenitore sottoal tubo vapore .

Aprire il rubinetto per iniziareil caricamento del circuito.

Attendere che dall’ugello

Chiudere il rubinetto per

Queste operazioni vi assicurano un’erogazione ottimale e deve essere eseguita: 1) al primo avvio - 2) quando lamacchina rimane inutil izzata per lungo periodo.

Risciacquare e riempire ilserbatoio con acqua frescapotabile.

DECALCIFICAZIONE

Quando la macchina deveessere decalcicata la spia

lampeggia.

Riempire il serbatoio comedescritto in precedenza per

preparare la soluzione de-calcicante.

Mettere un recipiente gran-de sotto il tubo vapore.

Aprire il rubinetto.Inizia il processo di decalci-cazione.

Chiudere il rubinetto.

Prelevare il contenitore. Sciacquare e riempire ilserbatoio con acqua frescapotabile.

Mettere un recipiente gran-de sotto il tubo vapore.

Aprire il rubinetto ed esegui-re il risciacquo.


La soluzione viene erogataad intervalli.


Quando le spie lampeggianola decalcifcazione è termi-nata.

Premere il pulsante per 5secondi.

La formazione di calcare è una conseguenza naturale dell’uso dell’apparecchio. La macchina è dotata di un software cheinforma l’utente quando necessita di un ciclo di decalcicazione.

Utilizzare solo il decalcifcante Saeco, che è stato studiato per rispettare le caratteristiche tecnichedella macchina, mantenendo le sue performance nel tempo, in pieno rispetto della sicurezza per

il consumatore. La soluzione decalcifcante deve essere smaltita secondo quanto previsto dalcostru ttore e/o dalle norme vigenti nel Paese d’utilizzo.

Non bere la soluzione decalcifcante e i prodotti erogati fno al completamento del ciclo.Non utilizzare in nessun caso l’aceto come decalcifcante.

Per preparare correttamente la soluzione decalcifcante, versare tutto il contenuto della bottiglia didecalcicante concentrato Saeco nel serbatoio dell’acqua e riempire con acqua fresca no al livello MAX.

Nota: prima d’iniziare il ciclo di decalcicazione assicurarsi che:1. SIA STATO RIMOSSO IL FILTRO ACQUA;2. Abbiate a disposizione un contenitore di dimensioni adeguate che possa essere posizionato nei punti che verranno

identicati.

Prelevare il contenitore.Quando l’acqua nel ser-batoio è fnita, chiudere ilrubinetto.

Se il ciclo di decalcifcazione viene interrotto sideve procedere al ri sciaquo della vasca dell’ac-qua e dei circuiti interni della macchina.

Dopo aver eseguito la decalcifcazione ricaricare il cir -cuito della macchina.

Sciacquare e riempire nuova-mente il serbatoio con acquafresca potabile.

Selezionare la funzione “Caf-fè macinato”. NON aggiunge-re il caffè macinato.

Posizionare la tazza da caffèsotto l’erogatore.

Premere il tasto del caffèlungo. La macchina inizial’erogazione.

Ripetere le operazioni dalpunto 17 al 20 per 5 volte.Poi passare al punto 22.

Al termine vuotare la tazza.

Erogare tutta l’acqua contenu-ta nel serbatoio. Quando ter-minato chiudere il rubinetto.

Inserire un contenitorecapiente sotto al tubo va-pore .

Aprire il rubinetto per iniziarel’erogazione dell’acqua.

Riempire il serbatoio conacqua fresca potabile.

Quando le spie si accendonoin modo sso, la macchina è

pronta per l’uso.

PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE

Non asciugare la macchina e/o i suoi componentiutilizzando un forno a microonde e/o un forno

convenzionale.

Non immergere la macchina nell’acqua e noninserire i componenti nella lavastovigl ie.

La pul izia del lamacchina, dei suoi

componenti e del gruppoerogatore deve essere ese-guita almeno una volta allasettimana.Non util izzare alcol etilico,solventi e/o agenti chimiciaggressivi.

PULIZIAGENERICA

GRUPPOEROGATORE

Spegnere la macchina.Scollegare la spina.

Lavare il serbatoio.Lavare il fltro che si trovaall’interno.

Estrarre la vasca raccogligocce, svuotarla e lavarla.

Estrarre e vuotare il cassettoraccogli fondi e lavarlo.

Pulire il beccuccio con unpanno umido.

Smontare l’erogatore elavarlo con acqua.

Aprire lo sportello frontale. Rimuovere il cassetto rac-cogli gocce e il cassettoraccogli fondi.

Premere sul tasto PUSH perestrarre il gruppo.

Lavare il gruppo erogatorecon acqua corrente.

Lavare bene il fltro supe-riore.

Riposizionare tutti i compo-nenti nella macchina.Chiudere lo sportello.

Asciugare il gruppo e rimon-tarlo nella macchina.Non premere sul tasto“PUSH”.

PROGRAMMAZIONE FUNZIONI MACCHINA

L’utilizzatore può modicare alcuni parametri di funzionamento della macchina secondo le proprie esigenze personali.

Procedimento per accederealla programmazione dellamacchina.

INIZIO PROGRAMMAZIONE

Spegnere la macchina. Premere i tasti contemporaneamente. Mantenendo i tastipremuti accendere la macchina.

DUREZZA ACQUAL’acqua corrente è più o meno calcarea a seconda delle regioni. Per questo motivol’apparecchio può essere regolato secondo il grado di durezza dell’acqua della localitàa cui è destinato, espresso in scala da 1 a 4.

L’apparecchio è programmato su un valore di durezza 3*. La durezza dell’acqua

nell’apparecchio andrebbe regolata a seconda del tenore di calcare e del grado didurezza dell’acqua.

Verifcare quanti quadraticambiano colore.

Quando si attiva questa funzione, subito dopo la fase diriscaldamento, l’apparecchio pulisce i condotti interni pergarantire che l’erogazione del caffè sia eseguita solo con

acqua fresca.

In tutti gli apparecchi nuovi questa funzione è già attivatadal costruttore.

Il processo di preinfusione, con il quale il caffè viene legger-mente inumidito prima dell’infusione vera e propria, fa risaltarel’aroma pieno del caffè che acquista un gusto eccellente. E’possibile scegliere tra “attivata” - “disattivata”.

Con il processo di premacinatura l’apparecchio macina duevolte: la prima per il tipo di caffè selezionato, la seconda peril caffè successivo (non ancora selezionato).Questa funzione serve quando si desidera ridurre il tempod’erogazione di più caffè uno dopo l’altro (p. es. durante unavisita, una festa).

distribution of steam and hot water.This elegantly styled machine is designed for household

COFFEE GRINDER ADJUSTMENT

Adjustment may be made only while the coffee gr inder is operat ing.

Use coffee bean blends for espresso coffee makers. If you do not obtain the desired result, try using different coffee blends.

Store coffee in a cool place, in a hermetically sealed container.You will note a change after dispensing 3 - 4 coffees.

If you set the grinder on too ne a grind (knob turned all the way anticlockwise) coffee may ow out in a slow trickle or notat all.

The neness of the grind maybe adjusted using the knob.

COFFEE DOSE ADJUSTMENT

You must adjust the dose before dispensing coffee. This adjustment will have an immediate effect on the coffee brewed.

You can adjust the quantity ofcoffee to be ground.

Stronger coffee. Weaker coffee.

COFFEE IN CUPS

To adjust the quantity of coffee dispensed to the size of your cups.

Place a cup under the brew unit, press the button corresponding to the type of coffee desiredandkeep it pressed while coffee is being dispensed.

the descaling solution.

Place a large enough con-tainer under the steam

wand.

Open the knob.The descaling cycle starts.

Close the knob.

Remove the container. Rinse and ll the tank withfresh drinking water.

Place a large enoughcontainer under the steamwand.

Open the knob and rinse.

The solution is dispensedat regular intervals.

When the indicator lightsash, the descaling cycle iscomplete.

Press the button for 5 sec-onds.

Limescale normally builds up with the normal use of the appliance. The machine is supplied with a software that warns theuser about the need to run a descaling cycle.

Use the Saeco descaling solution only: it has been specially designed to comply wi th the technicalspecications of the machine, to ensure the machine performance will not decrease over time,

and to guarantee a safe and risk-free use. The descaling solution must be disposed of accordingto the manufacturer’s instructions and/or applicable regulations in the country of use.

Never drink the descaling so lution and any substances dispensed until the cycle ends.Never use vinegar as a descaling so lution.

For a correct preparation of the descaling solution, pour the entire content of the Saeco concentrateddescaling solution into the water tank, and ll it with fresh water up to the MAX level.

Note: Before starting a descaling cycle make sure that:1. THE WATER FILTER HAS BEEN REMOVED2. You have a container of adequate size at hand to be placed in the points identied.

When this function is enabled, the internal machine circuitswill be rinsed immediately after the warming-up phase toensure that coffee is prepared with fresh water only.

In all new appliances this function has already been enabledin the factory.

With the pre-brewing process the coffee is slightly moistened

before actual brewing. This brings out the full aroma of thecoffee and lends it an excellent avour. It is possible to chooseeither “enabled” or “disabled”.

With the pre-grinding process the machine grinds twice: therst time for the type of coffee selected and the second timefor the subsequent coffee (not yet selected).This function is useful when you want to reduce the timenecessary for dispensing several coffees in sequence (e.g.while entertaining guests or during a party).

This procedure serves to activate all the settings made.

4 SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN

- Zur Zubereitung von Kaffee, Heißwasser, Milchschaumoder zum Aufwärmen von Getränken mit Dampf.- Für den Hausgebrauch.

UNSACHGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG DER MASCHINENicht für andere Zwecke als die vorgenannten verwenden.Keine anderen Stoffe als die in der Bedienungsanleitungaufgeführten in die Behälter geben.Beim normalen Füllen der Behälter müssen alle in der Nähebendlichen Behälter geschlossen werden. nicht in die Nähe von heißen Flächen stellen!- Einen Abstand von 10 cm von Wänden und Kochplatten

einhalten.- Nicht bei Temperaturen unter 0°C aufbewahren, Gefahr

von Frostschäden.- Das Netzkabel darf nicht beschädigt, mit Klemmen zusam-

mengebunden werden, heiße Flächen berühren, usw.- Das Netzkabel nicht herunterhängen lassen (Vorsicht:

Stolpern, Herunterfallen der Maschine).- Die Espressomaschine nie am Netzkabel anheben oder

ziehen.

EINSTELLUNG DER KAFFEEMÜHLE

EINSTELLUNGEN

Die Einstellung darf nur bei laufender Kaffeemühle vorgenommen werden.

Bohnenkaffeemischungen für Espressomaschinen verwenden. Wird das gewünschte Ergebnis nicht erzielt, andere Kaffee-

mischungen verwenden. Den Kaffee an einem kühlen Ort hermetisch verschlossen aufbewahren.Die Veränderung der Mahlstufe wird erst nach dem Zubereiten von 3 bis 4 Tassen Kaffee feststellbar.
