Dress Code

Ÿ Admission will be throgh Councelling ans Combined Entrance Examination conducted by State Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.

Ÿ If the College is not satised with the character, past behavior or antecedents of a candidate, he/she can be refused admission to any course of study in the College.

Ÿ The candidate must himself / herself ensure about his / her eligibility for admission.

Ÿ The College has the right not to admit a candidate to a course of study even though a notication inviting application for the same has been issued, if the number of applications received for admission is less than a minimum stipulated number in that particular course as decided by the College from time to time.

Ÿ A full time student of this College will not be allowed to join any full time course from other college or full time job anywhere. If found otherwise, his / her admission will stand cancelled

Ÿ Any damage to the college’s property including buses or theft of public / private belongings would for the College to take severe action against the defaulters along with an imposition of a heavy ne as decided by the authorities, keeping in mind, the extent and seriousness of the damage caused.

Ÿ The total amount as well as hostel fee (for hostellers only) is to be paid in two equal installments.

Ÿ The rst installment of the fee is to be deposited at the time of admission and the second installment at the beginning of even semester.

Ÿ Registration and enrollment fee are to be paid once at the time of admission.

Ÿ Students who do not pay their fee within prescribed time may be allowed to deposit the fee with late payment charges decided by College from time to time

Ÿ Students are required to attend the lectures and practical classes regularly. 75% attendance is compulsory, failing which they will not be permitted to appear in the examinations.

Ÿ Any student who remains absent for more than 10 continuos days without prior permission from the concerned faculty, shall be deemed to have dropped out and his / her name will be stuck off from the rolls.

Ÿ The College has a prescribed uniform for all the students. They are required to be present during College working hours in proper prescribed uniform.

Electrical Engineering is one of the core elds of engineering, so it is always evergreen in terms of Scope and Job Prospects. Nowadays, we see Electronics playing an important role in the implementation and control of Electrical Machines. Keeping this fact le in mind the course have transformed from core into a fusion of Electrical Engineering and has been renamed as Electrical Engineering. Electrical Engineers can get a job in Public Sector such as Indian Railways. Armed forces (Technical Branch) and also in Thermal and Nuclear power Corporation Limited. Electrical Engineers also nd job prospects in Design Industries, Production plants, Natural gas plants, etc.

India has emerged as a major IT hub turning out as a computer and technology reservoir for many top class IT companies. That is why a maority of IT enabled work is done by Indians.

Computer Science has been rising as a subject of interest, career and also as a necessity. The main reason being the advent of technology because of which the use of computers becoming more and more these days. As computers are being used in every department and domain now. Computer engineers will continuously be sought after for maintenance and innovation pertaining to those computer enabled services.

Mechanical Engineering is one of the primitive branches of Engineering which has remained always in demand and continue to be in future. That is why Mechanical trade is called as an Evergreen branch. It has a tremendous scope in automobile engineering and many more. With its wide scope of application mechanical engineers remain always in demand no matter which part of the world. Mechanical engineers have wonderful scope for higher studies in India and abroad in specialized areas. The students who complete the programme successfully have very good scope to join prestigious government organizations such as ISRO Defence Research and Development Organisation and BARC.

Mechanical Engineering (ME)

Civil Engineering is one of the primitive engineering elds which involves projecting, scheming and imlementing structural bodies. The actual working domain includes a variety of engineering jobs right from designing, supervision and construction activities of public works like roads and bridges to tunnels, research laboratories, aerodromes, dams, water works, sewage systems, harbours etc. Civil Engineers are always sought after and have a brilliant scope no matter what is the situation of the market. The country is developing fast and it needs infrastructures to sustain this development, which requires qualied civil engineers to build them. Civil Engineers can nd job in construction companies, Government Departments, railways, military etc...

The College has a full-edged Training and Placement cell whose primary aim is to provide all possible help and assistance to the student in their efforts to nd suitable employement. This commitment is demonstrated by the presence of a full time Training and Placement Ofcer.

Interaction between engineers and entrepreneurs is the basis for genesis of this cell. Since its beginning greater emphasis has been laid on putting efforts to provide placement to students. It organizes campus interviews, provides information on job opportunities and arranges summer training for students. The cell is constantly arranging special lectures from eminent persons of different elds of specialization to help the students emerge as Great Technocrats.

The Cell identies the training needs of students and designs training modules on soft skills and software skills to students to match them with corporate requirements.

Shri Moti Shiksha Evam Welfare Society, Lucknow incorporated in the year 2010. Society established Shri Dal Chand Memorial Audyogik Prashikshan Sansthan (ITI) at Lucknow in the year 2011, further established SMSIT (Polytechnic) and got registered the same in 2015. On the course of survey by the society in the rural areas it has been obsereved that most of the people are interested to take study connected with self employment proffesional courses. It has also been obsereved that in rural area few numbers of students coplete their study up to metric level because their parents asked them to engage for earning, but they failed to do that and come in queue of unemployment. So SMSIT comes has been come to demand that most of the students are willing to join such courses which are made for Students having minimum eligibility to join the Engineering courses, for which Diploma courses in Engineering are the best options for the bright professional carrier. The Advanced Technology Center, a joint venture between SMSIT College and the SMSIT Independent school District, is a unique facility that plays hosts to a wide variety of classes, activities and events. Our students are enrolled in classes which will provide them with the skills and preparation for work in the automotive industry, welding, electronics . At our sister facility, the Cogdel Center, our students are involved in lessons and activities related to the varios branches . Many of our students receive both college as well as high school credit when they complete our courses.While our Smsit students are attending classes here at the, college courses are taught concurrently. Also, many businesses and community groups hold trainings and seminars at our facility. We believe that the combination of SMSIT College and SMSIT staff helps to prepare our students for college as well as the work force.We encourage you to visit our facility and see for yourself the wonderful “hands on” learning that takes place here and every school day.
