Conclusions

� Petrophysical logs are valuable for geomechanical modeling� Logs are required for evaluation of formation strength, pore

pressure,stress direction, and maximum horizontal stress magnitude� Most important LWD or Wireline Logs for Geomechanics include GR,

density, sonic, resistivity, caliper and borehole image logs, withoutthem it is not possible to establish a reasonable Geomechanicalmodel

� High quality log data results are essential for a high accuracygeomechanical model
