High Performance Stent:

- The LEO is made of braided Nitinol wires giving it ahigh radial force and an homogeneous wall structureeven in acute curves (Pic1)

- There are two highly radiopaque wires ensuring visi-bility along the entire stent length (Pic2)

- Coil-delivery microcatheters can access the mesh tofill the aneurysm after placement of the stent(see Mesh size in the chart to choose your catheter)

Mechanical Delivery System allowing stent repositioning:

- The delivery procedure is similar to a coil delivery: The stent is loaded and pushed in the catheter after the navigation,the VASCO+ braided catheter guarantees a high stability during thestent placement

- The stent is coupled to thepusher (Pic3) which allowsfor resheathing and reposi-tioning of the stent whenup to 90% deployed. Whenthe catheter is fully withdrawn over pusher, the coupling wire releases and the stentis deployed (Pic4)

N.B. Like for any other self-expanding stent, the LEO stent’s diameter has to be bigger than the artery’s: this is already taken into account in the reference. For example, a LEO4.5x25 has a 5.5mm diameter.
