Please note that P1&2 will perform their nativity on Wednesday 3rd in the afternoon during school time. The P1&2 children will then perform their piece again in the evening with all the other classes. They will not be performing on the Thursday evening. The P1&2 children will perform a nativity called `The Sleepy Stargazer`, the P3&4 children are working on their piece called `The Stars Come Out At Christmas’ and the P5,6&7 children will work together on `The Snow Queen`. All very different and all very exciting. The school reverberates to the sound of beautiful singing and there is a flurry of hemming and pinning on-going in the costume team! We will allow pupils to come into school up until 10am on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th December as is per usual. If you are unable to allow your child a later start, for whatever reason, the staff are in school at their usual time and will be in their classes.  Coats and Kit Yet again, the weather has been mild for this time of year. I ask that all children bring (and wear) a coat to school. If the weather changes during the day, and it does, then the children will be appropriately attired to play outside. Thank you. We are very, very short of spare gym kit for emergencies-shoes, shorts, tops. Do you have any your child has outgrown? We would be very grateful.  Keeping Parents/Carers Informed – School Website Updates Our website can be found at www.edubuzz.org/gullane. Well done!

A very well done to… Anna Wait in P5. Anna auditioned and was selected to be in the pantomime ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ at the Brunton Theatre which runs from November to January. A big commitment and lots of hard work. Super news Anna.

And a well done to … Innes Donachie in P6. He has secured a place on ‘The Basketball Future Starz’ programme. Well done Innes! Well done to…Skye Sievwright, Anna Duncan and Lucy Lucas for raising £60 for Breast Cancer. The girls decorated glass candle holders, created and sold beautiful jewellery, sold some clothes they no longer wanted and baked delicious cookies. All instigated, created and designed themselves. Fantastic work And a well done to… Emily Mae (P3) and Jake Thomson (P1) on achieving their level 5 & 4 Scottish Gymnastics Awards, respectively. The family are very proud of them. Kind regards M. R.
