Hey, I’m Niall…Dear student,

My name is Niall Harty, I’m 24 years old and I’m a proudLimerick man. I’m a recent BSc. Eng (Hons) graduate inManufacturing Engineering Management. I am runningfor ITTSU President.

My friends would describe me as very friendly,enthusiastic, commied and very approachable. I havemany interests and hobbies which include rugby, MMA,music etc.

I, like a lot of students, have had an impeccable studentexperience here at ITT. I account this to the great jobdone by previous SU members, both academically andsocially. I have been through quite a lot in this Instituteand I am well equipped to deal with anything.

I am currently the Vice President/Education Officer andI have been an avid student activist for the past 6 years.I have been involved in student politics since I started inITT and have been a Class Rep’ most of my way throughcollege. I have always loved dealing in student affairs.

As a student who received the maintenance grant, I trulyunderstand the importance of it, as I would not be heretoday without it. I will continue to fight for your grant,and fight against fees. In times like this you need astrong leader who will take you forward next year and Ibelieve I can be that person.

I can guarantee 100% commitment, and I will pour myheart and soul into this position, I will be freely availableto answer any question regarding my manifesto.
