Thank you!!!
On behalf of the Parish, we want to thank
all those who, in one way or another
helped and participated during our annual
bazaar last weekend. Especially to the
person in charge of this event, Barbara Pavlicek, who
without her help, coordination, and hard work would
not have been possible. Like every event that we do
here in our church, it is necessary to plan, organize, and
execute it. Without the help of volunteers and generous
people who are willing to collaborate in all our events,
this would not be possible. This is why I encourage all
those who are not a part of a ministry, to get involved
and participate in our upcoming events. It is just one
more way to get to know each other better and be
involved in our community. The time, your generosity
and the participation you can offer can change other
lives and make St. Peter’s a more united community.
We are waiting for you at our next events!!!

En nombre de la Parroquia queremos agradecer a
todos aquellos que de una manera u otra ayudaron y
participaron durante nuestro bazar anual el pasado fin
de semana y muy especialmente a la encargada de este
evento, Barbara Pavlicek que sin su ayuda,
coordinación, y total entrega no hubiera sido posible.
Como todo evento que realizamos aquí en nuestra
iglesia, es necesario planearlo, organizarlo y
ejecutarlo, sin la ayuda de voluntarios y personas
generosas que están dispuestas a colaborar en los
diferentes eventos esto no sería posible, por eso exorto
a todos aquellos que no son parte aún de un ministerio,
a que se involucren y participen en nuestros próximos
eventos y así formen parte activa en nuestra parroquia.
Una manera más de conocernos y hacer iglesia en
comunidad. El tiempo, su generosidad y la
participación que usted puede ofrecer pueden cambiar
otras vidas y hacer de San Pedro una comunidad más
unida. Le esperamos en nuestros próximos eventos!!!

Catholic Campaign for Human Development Collection
The CCHD Collection was established to help low-income people/families, to provide education
and promote understanding about poverty and its root causes. This weekend we will be having a
second collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.

La campaña de CCHD se estableció para ayudar a personas / familias de bajos ingresos, para proporcionar educación y
promover el entendimiento sobre la pobreza y sus causas. Esté fin de semana tendremos una segunda colección para la
Campaña Católica para el Desarrollo Humano.
Christmas is rapidly approaching and St. Vincent de Paul needs
items to fill 300 boxes. Those items are canned green beans,
canned corn, Hamburger Helper meals, and cranberry sauce.
If you would rather donate money, that’s fine too.

Navidad se acerca rápidamente y San Vincente de Paul necesita
elementos para llenar 300 cajas. Esos artículos son frijoles

Now is the time to start thinking of honoring a family
member or someone special to you with our Christmas
Poinsettias that we place on the Altar and around the church
each year. Soon on the back of the church we will start ac-
cepting your donations.
Ahora es el momento de comenzar a pensar en honrar a un
miembro de la familia o alguien especial con nuestras
Poinsettias de Navidad que colocamos en el Altar y alrededor

New Sacred Art in our church sanctuary
Nuevo arte sagrado en nuestro santuario de la iglesia
To continue to make our church interior an inspiring place of worship, new sacred art will soon be added. In the sanctuary, a beautiful wood-carved image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and one of St. Joseph will be placed on either side of the main crucifix. Para continuar haciendo del interior de nuestra iglesia un lugar de adoración inspirador, pronto se agregará nuevo arte sagrado. En el santuario, una hermosa imagen tallada en madera de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe y una de San José se colocará a cada lado del crucifijo principal.
The clear glass of the tall window on the south side of the sanctuary will be replaced with colorful stained glass, highlighting the cross at the center of the window frame. El vidrio transparente de la ventana alta en el lado sur del santuario será reemplazado por vidrieras de colores, exaltando la cruz en el centro de la ventana.
Parishioners who wished to be sponsors, have already contributed funds for the images of Mary and St. Joseph. All parishioners are invited to assist with the cost of the stained-glass window - perhaps contributing in honor of a family member whose name will then be included on a plaque next to the window. The Gospel predicts end times; our challenge though is to live faithfully now. When we live in conformity to the Word, hearing Jesus’ words and living them out, the future holds no fear for us. Thanksgiving Day is next week and a way of being
thankful is by helping those in need. We are asking for
you to bring canned food on Thanksgiving day so that we
can help all of those in need.
El Día de Acción de Gracias será la próxima semana y
una forma de agradecer es ayudar a los necesitados. Les
pedimos que traiga alimentos enlatados el dia de Acción
de Gracias para que podamos ayudar a todos los que
