本校向來十分重視學生的品德培育。近年來，校內除設有校本輔

導活動外，每循環周各班級均進行一節生活教育課，又定期為家長舉

辦工作坊，讓家長認識協助子女成長的方法；同時教師亦須學習處理

學生在學習及情緒方面的技巧。透過家校的彼此配合，德育才可有效

地推行，學生也可真正獲益。

現今社會日趨複雜，孩子學習的不單是知識與技能，而是正確的

價值觀和處事態度。家長們除期望孩子能入讀校風良好，有助他們發

展潛能的學校外；更期望孩子獲享豐盛的人生，在關愛中成長。要達

成這教育子女的目標，父母必須讓孩子把握生活和學習上的機遇，不

論是順境或逆境，都要教導孩子以堅忍和感恩的心迎向面前的挑戰。

若過份保護孩子，避免他們受創傷，而事事照顧周到，只會養成依賴

習慣，並削弱他們的抗逆能力和學習承擔的機會。生活上的挫敗經歷

是無可避免的，若孩子能培養一份堅毅不拔的精神，在任何境遇中，

也會活出快樂的人生。

家庭和學校是培養孩子正確價值觀的重要基地，家長和教師既有

分工，更需合作，在培養孩子的成長路上共負責任。

Time flies, almost completed my first year service for PTA,

and I would like to express my great thanks to the Supervisor, the

Principal, the six voluntary Executive Committee parent members

and teacher members respectively. They have contributed their

valuable time and efforts in organizing various PTA activities for the

welfare and benefits of all pupils and families. Further appreciation

is also extended to all parent helpers who make every of our events

running smoothly.

The Walkathon held on March 5 2010 was a very fruitful event.

We did explore a new tracking route – Leaping Dragon Walk in Siu

Sai Wan. My memories were still fresh with all happy faces on each

family member including the lovely

little pets. Big thanks to all

Walkathon participants for your

generous donation and support.

There was a fair amount of surplus

from this fund raising activity for

the purpose of School’s

Improvement projects.

Teachers’ Day was held on May 14 2010, a morning session

for all levels of students, having their representatives on the stage,

presenting the lovely heart shape balloons to their beloved class

teachers and other subject teachers. I believe all teachers were

impressed by their lovely voice “Thank you, Teachers!” on that day.

Being a 2 kids’ mummy and working for PTA in both schools, I

developed a strong sense of belongings after completing my 5 years

services. I am looking forward to

contributing more and sincerely

閱讀是學習知識、認識世界、建構學習能力和提升品格素質的途

徑。

在本學年，學校閱讀推廣組與家長教師會合辦了「如何從共讀中

培養美德」講座，邀請了擁有多年培訓講故事導師經驗的菜姨姨(蔡

淑玲女士)主持講座。透過參與演練，家長輕易學會閱讀的策略及技

巧，體會親子共讀的樂趣。除了建立孩子閱讀習慣之外，也培養子女

建立良好的品格素質。

在講座中，菜姨姨教導我們一

群家長親子共讀的不同技巧，更用

多款圖書作實例，讓我們領略以身

作則的重要性，伴隨孩子進入閱讀世

界。除了閱讀講座外，學校更舉行了

閱讀獎勵計劃及書展，鼓勵學生更投入書中世界，細味讀書樂趣。

我們作為家長，明白到親子共讀並非只是與孩子一起「讀」一

本書，而是與孩子共同經歷書中的故事，感受不同的情境。孩子透過

和父母一起閱讀，既能發展其創意及理解能力，更能提升他們的說話

和表達能力。

學校在今年三月舉辦了「故事媽媽∕爸爸月」。參加的家長兩

人一組到一、二年級的班房為學生講故事。故事爸媽各施其法，

生動有趣。透過活動，家長體會到如何跟小朋友輕鬆閱讀。家長

應一有機會便會和孩子一起看書，無論是中文或英文繪本也可

以。我們可以講故事的形式嘗試演繹情節，孩子定必非常投入，

此一樂也！有一次，我的孩子告訴我在說話評估時，老師說她講

得不錯，她回答老師說因為經常和媽媽一起講故事，真使我感到

高興呢！

回想這些日子，當孩子漸漸長大，將會愈來愈獨立，我們身

為家長要好好享受親子閱讀的樂趣，好好珍惜孩子成長的每一

刻，透過共讀了解其情緒思維，培養其正面積極的人生觀。

I attended the Sacred Heart Canossian School Private Section 'Christmas Party'

held on 22 December 2010. I remember it was a rather cold day. I joined with

other PTA members by serving as school guests in the early morning that day. To my

surprise, I noticed that the atmosphere was warm all over the playground. Sound of

laughing, joy and happiness was everywhere around every corner of the school.

The girls started their performances ranging from X’mas story dramas to singing

X’mas songs and playing X’mas music by using different musical instruments like

flute and violin. The playground was mixed with children laughing voice plus

seasonal music.

The climax moment of the morning X’mas party of course was the lucky draw.

All girls were longing to look forward for every draw announcement. It was for sure

not all students got special gifts from the lucky draw. Yet, I still failed to see any

disappointed face from the girls. It was because they all knew that they would be

allowed to return to their classrooms immediately to continue the second part of the

X’mas party for sharing their delicious X’mas food and games. As observed, as

students were just arranged to finish their parties inside classrooms within 2 hours, it

was not strange that some of them seemed expecting to have some extra more hours

for their own parties inside classrooms.

Even though we were the school’s guests that day, we were not allowed to join the

girls inside classrooms. Of course, the school arrangement was absolutely right. No

doubt it was the students’ own X’mas party. I am sure we including the school head,

teachers, school staff and all students’ parents would like to see that our kids could

enjoy a wonderful and memorable X’mas day and X’mas party.

Arranging a successful party for hundreds of students was indeed not an easy task.

Once again, we need to thank the school’s administration for arranging the event.

Having attended the joyful party, naturally I would imagine one day in the future, PTA

members and even all volunteer parents would have chance to join with the school

head and teachers for sharing the fun altogether.

我懷着與奮的心情，參加了家長教師會每年一度的親子步行籌款

日。今次我們選擇了新的步行路線：由小西灣海濱公園起步，沿「龍

躍徑」前往風景美麗的「龍躍樂園」。這條路線跟以往山頂的步行路

線比較，除了有一小段斜路外，沿途風景優美，步行完畢後還可以在

小西灣海濱公園玩耍，令我們樂而忘返。

我希望每一年的親子步行籌款活動都能給大家帶來新意，讓大家

都樂在其中！

本校運動會於 12月 4日在小西灣運動場舉行。一走進運動場，

同學們的吶喊聲音此起彼落，場面非常熱鬧。同學們盡力地完成比

賽，體現出他們的體育拚勁精神。 是次運動會能夠順利完成，實在

有賴家長的支持和協助，希望來年有更多家長參與這次活動。

一年一度的敬師日於二零一一年五月十四日在學校禮堂舉行，家

長教師會準備了一籃大大的生果用來送給老師，還有每位老師均獲得

兩個心形氣球，代表家長和學生送給老師一顆心，對老師們的一份尊

敬，亦代表家校一心的精神。藉著這份小小心意，感謝所有老師們對

學生用心的教導。六年級學生更準備了精彩的話劇，獻給校長和各位

老師。他們的演出帶來不少掌聲，把歡樂氣氛推至最高。
