연구원 동정

임지순 교수 제1회 포스코 청암상 과학상 수상 (2007.3)청암상은 포스코의 설립자인 청암 박태 명 회장의 업 을 기념하

고 포스코 창업이념인 창의, 인재 육성, 희생․ 사정신을 리 확산

하기 해 제정된 상으로 임 교수는 고체물리이론 자구조계산 분야

와 탄소나노튜 와 수소 장 물질 분야에서 최고의 권 를 인정받아

를 안았다.

임지순 교수 2007년 대한민국 최고과학기술인상 수상 (2007.4)임지순 교수가 과학기술부와 한국과학기술단체총연합회가 수여하는

한민국 최고과학기술인상에 선정되었다. 임 교수는 고체의 총에 지

를 양자역학 으로 정확히 계산하는 공식을 처음 발표한 이후 나노구

조에서의 기 도도 계산법, 계 방출 터 링 류 계산법 등을 개

발함으로써 계산고체물리학이란 새로운 학문 분야를 개척하고, 이 같

은 방법을 탄소나노튜 와 새로운 수소 장 물질의 개발에도 용시켜 큰 성과를 거둔 업 을 높이

평가받았다.

김형도교수 우수 연구성과 50선 선정(2007.12) 김형도 교수는 칭의 깨어짐을 얻는 Gauge Messenger 모형을 통해 top 쿼크의 칭 트 를

가볍게 만드는 방법을 제시한 연구로 과학재단의 "우수 연구성과 50선"에 선정되었다.
