Industrial valves made by MSA find applications
worldwide. Their high reliability makes it possible
to employ them in extreme conditions of a desert
or a taiga and guarantees a trouble-free operation
with minimum demands upon maintenance for
many years.
MSA, a.s. ranks among the leading manufacturers of industrial valves in Europe. The present
success of the company is based on a long tradition of manufacture of industrial valves, experience
gained by the personnel, and endeavour to manufacture new products. They find application on
the domestic market, but mainly on foreign markets. MSA, a.s. exports 80 - 90 % of its production
worldwide.
The broad assortment of industrial valves being produced is designed for both ordinary and extreme
service parameters that are characteristic of water and heat supply systems, conventional and
nuclear power engineering, chemical industry, transportation and processing of oil and gas.

RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT
Main activities of research and development personnel
• selection of suitable materials for individual valve components including verification of suitability
of the selected solution
• stress analyses and functional calculations with utilization of the latest, most exacting methods
• special tests of valves and their parts that simulate the most demanding service conditions,
verification of selected production processes by independent organizations
Features of industrial valves made by MSA
Thanks to long-term and planned activities of the technical personnel in the field of research and
development, MSA produces complete series of valves that are characterized by:
• high technical standard
• high reliability and long service life
• low material and energy consumption in the process of their manufacture
• production realized in conditions that do not affect the environment and health of MSA
employees
WARRANTY OF QUALITY
We guarantee the required quality of products and we can support it with certification of the
quality system, certification of products, certification of personnel, and certification of selected
processes. Those areas belong to the sphere of testing and certification.
Testing
The company possesses its own inspection and calibration department and qualified personnel
being certified for individual types of tests.
Certification
The certifications are based on the requirements of customers and on the requirements of both
Czech and foreign legislation, including Directives of the European Union. The certifications are
documented mostly on the basis of a verification done by an independent certification organization,
and the certification process itself is determined according to the certification type and specificity.
Environment protection
Within the preparation of MSA for the integrated quality system, an initial environmental survey
was performed and an analysis of the condition of the environment protection control according
to EN ISO 14001 made out. This analysis, together with verifications according to international
safety-related standards, will form a part of the integrated quality system and cover requirements
of ISO and API system standards.
