We have been looking at the Tabernacle for two consecutive weeks, and in thisTorah Portion, we will cover the final parts of the Tabernacle. When YHVHdwells in something, whether it is in His Creation or any person, He alwaysdoes it in the way of the Tabernacle Pattern, relating to all the aspects andsymbolism of the Tabernacle. We also looked at the Menorah Pattern;whenever YHVH gives Light or reveals a Truth, He always does it in a balancedway, about the Menorah Pattern. The Menorah has a centre Branch with a leftand a right side, whenever you have an unbalanced Menorah, having morebranches on the left or right, the Menorah will fall over. That is why YHVHalways establishes Truth with two or more witnesses that keep the balance andconfirms its validity. This week we will study the Half-Shekel pattern that can

be used to join things together, especially physical and spiritual things.

Exo 30:12 When you take the sum of the children of Israel according totheir number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul untoYHVH when you number them, that there be no plague among themwhen you number them.

This Torah Portion starts with this passage and gets its name from the phrase;takethe sum of the children of Israel, that comes from the Hebrew phrase KiTissa et Rosh or lift up the heads.

    Lift up your Heads

QWhat does it mean to Lift up the heads of the Children of Israel?

To lift up the heads means to appoint or to anoint and that is the main topicor theme of this Torah Portion. In the previous Torah Portions we have looked

at the Adoption as a son becoming a Bondservant, then we looked at the sonentering the House of His Master / Father which is the Tabernacle. Last weekwe looked at bringing light into the Tabernacle, making it a Tent of Dwellingwhere YHVH dwelled with man. This week we will bring the Priests into theTabernacle and become a Priest you need the Anointing of YHVH.

Lift up your heads is also connected to the Census or counting of YHVHspeople. What is interesting is that the heads are not counted but thecontributions are counted. The people in the Kingdom belongs to YHVH, and itis rude if you count someone that does not belong to you. For example, do youthink a farmer will approve if you come in and count his livestock? In the same

way you should not count YHVHs people. The right way is to count is through the contributions of the people and not theheads. The contributions were in the form of half a Shekel and was for theredemption of the soul of the person who brought it.

Sheqellqccomes from the root word shaqal that means to weigh, to beweighed and to grief. YHVH used this measure of giving or contributing as ameasure of the people, and only those who gave are counted in His eyes. If youare part of the Congregation and you only take and do not contribute, then yougrief YHVH.

Shekel has a numerical value of 430. [Shin = 300, Qof = 100, Lamed =30] Weread in Exo 30:12 that the half shekel is for his soul that is the Hebrew wordNephesh is Nun-Hey-Shin that equals 430 as well. Half of Shekel is used tocover or kippur mans soul.

    Q - Why half a shekel?

The Sages teaches that this indicates that no one is complete without hisbrothers shekel, indicating unity amongst the people. The other way to makethe shekel complete is to add a half of a spiritual shekel to the half of thephysical shekel to make it one shekel. You provide the physical shekel andYHVH provides the spiritual shekel, indicating that he will take a step when you

take a step towards Him. James 4:8 says that He will draw near to you if youdraw near to Him. We find an example of this in Matt 17 where Peter andYshuawere asked to each pay a half Shekel each for their contribution, described in this Torah Portion.

Matt 17:24 And when they came to Capernaum, they that receivedtribute money came to Peter, and said, Does not your master

    pay tribute?

It talks about collecting a tribute, and they asked if Peter andYshua gave their tribute or offerings. Yshua told them to gofishing, and the tribute or offering will be a shekel in the mouth ofthe fish, covering both their contributions.

The Shekel Pattern:This reveals to us a spiritual truth in the Shekel Patternthat is a similar tool as the Menorah Pattern and Tabernacle Pattern. TheShekel Pattern is the idea of you giving half and YHVH giving the other half anddoing this makes you one or Echad with Him. The oneness with YHVH orbecoming one with Him is a deep spiritual concept that can be hard tounderstand, but the Shekel Pattern reveals to us, and that is unity is throughgiving.

Last week we saw that YHVH hides Himself, specifically during the time of theconstruction of the Tabernacle and He will start to reveal Himself as soon as theTabernacle is complete and ready to move into. The giving of the half-Shekelis the first step towards YHVH, where He will take a step towards you, thusbeginning to reveal Himself to you. The ultimate revelation of YHVH in your lifeis when you are One or Echad with Him, and that is what the Shekel pattern isall about. We just need to find out what it means to gibe half a Shekel, is itgiving money or is it something else?

The context of Matt 17 is all about faith, having faith like a mustard seed and themoving of mountains through faith. Then the question about Temple tax popsup, linking it to this Torah Portion and then going to the faith theme again whereYshua told Peter to go and fish to pay the tax.

QWhat is all of this about and what can we learn from this?

We have seen that the Shekel is for YHVHs Covering (Spiritual) and the otherhalf is from mans covering (Physical). When you combine the two half Shekelsto make one Shekel, it reveals the combining of the Spiritual and the Physicalwithin our lives. This means that it takes faith to contributeto YHVHs Workand it takes faith to see YHVH revealed in your life. Faith is the means of

taking the first step, then that prompts YHVH to take the next step, moving uscloser together that will lead to becoming ones. This is what the Shekel Patternis all about; it is taking steps of faith as you face challenges in your life, thenYHVH move in closer to you within that situation

The contribution to His House should be made out of faith and not out of yourabundance. You should give from your lack and not from the fact that youhave plenty. This is confirmed in the passage where the widow gave more thatthe other person because she gave from her lack, and that is giving out of faith. You provide half a shekelin order to build a Tabernacle for Him to indwell andHe provides the Plan and wisdom on how to construct it in your life so that youcan be part of the bigger picture within the Body of Messiah, the Tabernacle of

YHVH on a larger scale where you minister unto Him.

Example: Whenever you are in a situation, YHVHexpects of us to take the first step and then He will takethe next step to connect your half with His plan to givethe outcome. In relation to the Book of Matthew, it iswhen you are in a situation, and you take the first stepin faith, then you take your fishing rod, sit patientlyuntil YHVH provides the spiritualhalf to complete theShekel to bring the outcome. If you do not take thefirst step or wait patiently in faith, then you grieve

YHVH (other meaning of Shekel). You cannot pleaseHim without faith.

    Ministering unto YHVH

Last week we saw the link between the Outer Court and the Golden Altar ofIncense linked by the Priesthood. This weeks Portion discusses the Laver thatis connected to the Golden Altar of Incense via the shekel. The Laver was notfor the people in the outer court but for the Priests to cleanse themselves with

water before entered the Holy Place so that they could access the Golden Altar. The shekel was in the mouth of a fish (water), linking the act of giving as thenext step of becoming a Priest who will serve YHVH within the Tabernacle.

Exo 30:20 When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, theyshall wash with water, that they die not. Or when they come near to thealtar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto YHVH,

The Priests had to wash before approaching the Alar to minister to YHVH. Theyhad to wash their hands and their feet. If they did not wash, then they died(plague). Is that what happened with Aarons sons when they brought anoffering to YHVH, but they did not wash before ministering to YHVH and was

killed in the process? Is this what happened in Acts 5:1-11 where Ananias andSapphira died because of the contribution they did not give out of faith whenthey brought their shekel and received the plague spoken of here?

Personal Application: It is serious when you minister toYHVH and you refuse to cleanse yourself before you startministering. We did make the connection with the Laver, representing Baptism, which is half of the cleansing process; theother half is the Spiritual Washing or cleansing that must takeplace before you minister unto YHVH. What this simply means isthat if you want to minister unto YHVH in His Tabernacle or the

Body of Messiah, you have to be physically Baptised as well asSpiritually Baptised (filled with the Spirit of YHVH / Anointed) tobe Appointed to become part of His Priesthood. The Baptism ofthe Spirit is an event that generally takes place at your Mikvah(baptism) with the laying on of hands and prayer. This is whenyou commit to being immersed in His Word and use the Water ofthe Word to cleanse yourself so that you can be equipped and cleansed fromthe confusion that only leads to false doctrines and sin. Again we see thetheme of the full shekel coming together, made up by two half shekels, thePhysical and the Spiritual Baptisms, bringing you closer and eventually makingyou One or Echad with Him.

The Priests had to wash their hands and their feet. Your hands are connectedto the things you do, and your feet has to do with your willingness to go whereHe sends you. You should be cleansed from doing things that are not of Him,and you should be cleansed from your own will regarding your life, where youshould go. YHVH is the director of your life, and He will reveal His Will to youregarding where He want to use you in His Kingdom so that you can minister toHim. For you to minister, your hands need to be clean as well, and this isthrough the washing of the water of the Word, doing His Commandments.Applying His Word in your life makes your hands clean and your actions purebefore Him. We see the two half Shekels again; He gives halfrevealing His

Word and Will to you, your halfdoing His Commandments and walking in HisWill.

    The Anointing Oil

Exo 30:23-25 Take also unto you principal spices: of pure myrrhfive hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half asmuch (even two hundred and fifty shekels), and of sweet

calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,24

and of cassiafive hundred shekels, according to the shekel of thesanctuary, and of olive oil a hin. 25And thou shalt make

from it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compoundaccording to the art of the perfumer; it shall be a holyanointing oil.

The same measure makes the Anointing oil as the counting of the people, andthat is the Shekel. We have seen that the word Shekel means, to weigh and isa unit of measure. In the previous section, we have discussed how the Shekelrelates to YHVH, revealing Himself to you as well as connecting it to the laverwhere we are cleansed to go into ministry as His Priesthood, progressing

from only being saved people to becoming His Royal Priesthood. The term KiTissa et Rosh or lift up the headsis not only the name of the Torah Portionbut also means the appointing or lifting up of the person from just being abeliever in Messiah to becoming a Priest that can minister to the Body ofMessiah. For this to take place, we need a special anointing, and that is throughthe Baptism of the Spirit as we have seen in the meaning of the Laver. Thisfollowing section is about the preparation of the Anointing Oil is a picture ofwhat the Baptism of the Spirit and we will look at it from a spiritual level. TheAnointing oil consists of the following ingredients:

Myrrh500. Comes from the root word marar that means; to be bitter,

to enrage and to be strong. First found in Gen 49:23Blessing ofJoseph where the archers grieved himslander.

Cinnamon250. Comes from unused root that means to erect

Calamus 250. Comes from the root word qanah that means; to topossess, to buy, to acquire, to be bought. First found in Gen 14:18-19 -Abrams encounter with Melchizedek where he blessed Abraham in theName of YHVH, the possessor of Heaven and Earth.

Cassia500. Comes from the root word qadad that means, to bowdown. First found in Gen 24:26 where Abimelech found a Bride for Isaacand he bowed his head and worshipped YHVH.

We see the following hidden meanings within each of the ingredients of theAnointing Oil:

MyrrhProphetic picture of the one of the two Sticks, Ephraim (Joseph)working from the Christian side of the wallGathering people for theKingdom from the Nations and getting slander from his brothers, especially Judah.

CinnamonThis is in the context of building the Tabernacle and toerectit within YHVHsAnointed people known as the Body of Messiah.

Calamus This reveals us as YHVHs Royal Priesthoodaccording tothe order of Melchizedek, we are bought with a price and are His

possession and blessed by the Most High to fulfil this task as Anointedpeople. The

CassiaThis reveals the Holy Spirit of YHVH (Abimelech) searchingand gathering the Bride of Messiahso that she can submit under HeHusband (bow her head and worship YHVH).

Every one of these aspects within our faith needs the Anointing Oil of YHVHthrough His Spirit indwelling us. These are; Believerson the forefront bringing

people into the Kingdom through the Gospel Message. Then they become partof the Body of Messiahthrough the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are supporting andmaintaining the Body. Then you can be chosen by YHVH and Anointed to fulfil aPriestly Role serving the People as the Priesthood. Lastly, you can becomepart of His Brideif you submit under His Word and Authority and allow Him topurify you so that you may be presented before the King.

All four of these stages needs the Anointing Oil, and every one of them isphases people go through when they start their walk with YHVH. You first startas a Believer in Messiah; then you become Part of the Body where you learn tolive and function in unity. After that you become part of the Priesthood as you

grow up spiritually and through the Anointing of YHVHs Spirit being used byHim to serve the Body. Finally, you reach maturity and is in the process ofpurification to prepare as the Bride of Messiah, growing closer to Him in anintimate, loving relationship.

    Anointing of the Spirit

Exo 31:15 And YHVH spoke unto Moses, saying, 2See, I have called byname Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 3And Ihave filled him with the Spirit of Elohim, in wisdom and in understanding

and in knowledge and in all manner of workmanship,4

to devise skillfulworks: to work in gold and in silver and in brass, 5 and in cutting ofstones to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner ofworkmanship.

This is one of the best examples where YHVH anointed someone with His Spiritto fulfil a function within the Tabernacle or Body of Yshua. The first time wesaw someone receiving an anointing was in when Abram and Sarai where eachof them received a Hey into their names. The letter Hey represents the Lightor Revelation of YHVH and is also the sound of breath that is also known asRuach in Hebrew, related to YHVHs Ruach HaKodesh or Holy Spirit.

    Hebrew Study Tip

Every Hebrew name has a meaning and a root word that takes you tothe verb where that word comes from. The reason we look at the rootwords is that Hebrew is an action language and every word has averb that tells you its true meaning. If you then look at the place whereit is first found in Scripture, you will get a story that uses that wordand that story will reveal its true meaning. This is the way the Torahis used as a Dictionary to look up meanings of words containedwithin all the stories.

When we look at a persons name it tells us something of his characterand destiny, even the name of his father or mother can be used to colour

  • 7/25/2019 Parashah 21- Ki Tissa

    7/11

    7

in more detail regarding his character. We will use this technique to studythe name Besaleel.

Bezaleelmeans, shadow of el. His name comes from two words al lu that

means, shadow and el la that means God. Shadow is found in Psalm 91

where it talks about being in the shadow of the Almighty.

Uri means fierythat comes from the root word ore that means fire or light. This word is found in Isa 24:15 where you will glorify YHVH in the fires and thecontext of the fires are about the judgment of the Earth in the end times. Thismatches the meaning of the letter Hey, that is linked to YHVHs Spirit.Hurmeans white and hole. Hole is first found in Scripture in Isa 11:8 where thecontext is in relation to the passage we have already looked at in Isa 11:2explaining the Seven Steps the Spirit of YHVH takes you through to bring youinto a closer relationship with Him. The rest of Isa 11 talks about the time YHVHwill set His hand a Second Time into the earth to gather His people and this islinked to the End Times as well. This is the time where YHVH will pour out HisSpirit on all flesh prior to His Coming.

Spiritual Application: Putting all the meanings of the names together will tellus more about theAnointing of YHVHs Spirit, especially those living in the EndTimes. From these names we derived the following thoughts that will elaborateon what it means to be Anointed by the Spirit of YHVH:

Shadow of the Almighty- The protection of YHVH as well as sitting underHis Word or Commandments. This is one of the attributes of YHVHsAnointing; to teach His Ways that will guide and protect anyone sittingunder His Authority. YHVHs Spirit will reveal His Word to you so that youwill understand it in order to walk in it. This is His protection to us living inthe last days.

Fiery or FiresYHVHs Spirit is dangerous as seen in the example of theStrange Fire where Aarons sons died. The context of this word relates tothe Judgment of YHVH, specifically to those who received the Anointing. They should not to use it the wrong way because you can get burned.Everything you do under the Anointing must Glorify YHVH at all times.

White, HoleWhite is the colour of His Righteousness, and the SevenSteps His Spirit will take you through is to make you Righteous; makingyour garments or actions white and secondly, to keep your garment fromdefilement, helping you to walk in Holiness, keeping it white. The Anointingof YHVH is to make you Righteous and Holy that will prepare you as the

Bride so that He can come and Gather you for the Marriage Feast. All these names gave us insight on what it means to have the Anointing ofYHVH and what its purpose is. In the context of Exodus, we see that theAnointing is to fulfil a specific purpose in the building of the Tabernacle andthis is similar to the building of the Body of Messiah. Each one of us whofollow Yshua will go through the process of receiving His Spirit so that we canbe equipped to fulfil a specific function in the Body to serve and build up theBody of Messiah. These are known as the Gifts of the Spirit; Prophesy, Serving,Teaching, Exhortation, Giving, Leadership, Mercy, Word of Wisdom, Word ofKnowledge, Faith, Gifts of Healings & Miracles, Distinguishing between spirits,

Tongues & Interpretation of tongues. With these Gifts comes responsibly through what we have just studied in themeaning of Bezaleel, Uri and Hur; know and submit to YHVHs Word, be careful

what you do with His Anointing, this is a warning so that you will not get burntand lastly, His Anointing is there to make you white and keep you white so thatyou can be prepared as His Bride and be ready for His Coming. This will ensurethat you will have a lamp with oil in your Tabernacle, ready to be gatheredforthe Marriage Feast.

    The Golden Calf

Exo 32:1-3 And when the people saw thatMoses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto

Aaron and said unto him, Arise, make us godswhich shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of

Egypt, we know not what has become of him.2And Aaron said unto them, Break off the

golden earrings which are in the ears of yourwives, of your sons and of your daughters, andbring them unto me.3And all the people broke off the golden earringswhich were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. 4And he receivedthem from their hand, and fashioned it with an engraving tool after hehad made it a molten calf; and they said, These are your gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt! 5And when Aaron sawit, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made a proclamation and said,Tomorrow is a feast to YHVH.

While Moses was up on the mountain receiving YHVHs laws, the people were

getting anxious down on the plain. Moses spent forty days (Exodus 24:18) upon the mountain with YHVH, and by the end of that time, the people werebeginning to think Moses had died or left them. The people urged Aaron, theirtemporary leader, to make gods for them to follow. Since they were accustomedto having visual representations of gods, this was the natural (but sinful) resultof their thinking. Aaron took their gold earrings, which they had brought fromEgypt, and melted them down to make a golden idol. The idol he crafted forthem was a calf, but Aaron maintained the name of YHVH in connection with it.He was merging the pagan practices they were familiar with and the worship ofthe God they were just beginning to be re-acquainted with. Aaron called thepeople together and told them that the golden calf was YHVH who delivered

them from Egypt. The people offered sacrifices and then engaged in paganrituals, including orgies (Exodus 32:25) to worship this new god.

What is ironic was that they had heard the Ten Commandments of which thesecond Commandment forbid them to make images of anything YHVH created, bow down and worship them. Secondly. Aaron, who was the High Priest, wholistened to the people instead of YHVH.

Spiritual Application 1: Aaron represents all spiritual leaders, and this is aproblem in the body of Messiah today; the Pastors / Teachers in churchesrather listen to the people than to YHVH or His Word. The current trend isSeeker Sensitive Churches where the Leaders in theChurch ask the people

what they want to see and experience in the church.

  • 7/25/2019 Parashah 21- Ki Tissa

    9/11

    9

Then they structure their church service modelaccording to the peoples recommendations toaccommodate the people. Many Mega Churches arebuilt and maintained in this model. The aim of thistype of Church is to make people feel more at homeand that anybody is welcome. They have spiritualmotivational messages with no mention of sin andrepentance. Their messages always contain anelement of blessing, and you will benefit from becoming a Believer to get whatis rightfully yours as a child of the King. About what we have learned previously,we see that these people are trained and conditioned to become Borrowers, where they take form YHVH as much as they can without giving anything inreturn becoming part of a Bless Me Club.

Spiritual Application 2: The next lesson we learn from this section is that thepeople wanted something tangible instead offollowing an invisible God Who hides Himself.

They were familiar with the gods of Egypt andused those images. They wanted Aaron to makethem an image of YHVH that looks like one of theEgyptian gods they were accustomed with. Wedo the same today; we take things of this worldand dress Him up so that He looks just like theworld. From this we create Jesus that wearsjeans, hang with cool people and areeverybodys mate. YHVH is a father figure thatyou can just go to, jump on His lap and kiss Him

on His cheek. Where is the image of YHVH that is found in His Word where He

is the Holy Almighty God with the 24 Elders before Him who worships Him withfear, respect and reverence? Where is the true image of Yshua, the Son ofYHVH that looks right into the deepest parts of your soul with His flaming eyes, where His words cut through you like a sword? We have created images ofYHVH and Yshua that is not Biblical and that waters down our faith to a merespiritual club having Yshua as a cool dude that is my best pal.

Personal Appl ication: We treat the Commandments of YHVH just like thepeople did back when they worshipped theGolden Calf, we tend to take it not as seriousas intended and become impatient when

YHVH delay in answering or bringing anoutcome. Then we take things in our ownhands and make it work according to ourlimited knowledge, ignoring YHVHsWord orCommandments. YHVH tests us throughdelaying, and our impatience causes us to

stumble by reverting to our old ways. It is very important to stay focused onYHVH and go back to His Word so that you can be spiritually strong, enduringtill you receive the answer or outcome. When YHVH reveals a new Truth, Hewill test you to engrain it into your life so that you will default to this Truthwhen a challenge arises.

    Breaking the Commandments

Exo 32:19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing; and Moses anger waxed hot, and hecast the tablets out of his hands and broke them beneath the mount.

When Moses came down and saw what the Children of Israel are doing thewrong thing, he became very angry and cast down the Two Tablets of stone atthe foot of the mountain. The broken tablets represented the breaking of theCommandments. Moses then commanded the Levites to kill all the people whowere involved in this act of idol worship, and about 3000 people died that day.

Exo 32:31-33 And Moses returned unto YHVH and said, Oh, thispeople have sinned a great sin, and have made themselves gods of gold.32 Yet now, if You will forgive their sin and if not, blot me, I pray You,out of Your book which You has written!33And YHVH said unto Moses,

Whosoever hassinned against Me, him will I blot out of My book.Moses interceded for the people who have sinned and offered his salvation oreternal life in exchange for their condemnation so that they might enter theKingdom. Moses reminded YHVH of His Covenant with Abraham and YHVHrepented from His anger and thoughts to destroy Israel. (Exo 32:10 - 14).

Yshua the Savior:This is why Yshua is called a Prophet like Mosesbecause what Moses did here is exactly what Yshua did for humanity; He tooktheir sin upon Himself so that we might live. Just like Moses, He is our AdvocateWho pleads and intercedes before the Father. It was because of the CovenantYHVH made with Abraham that we are saved and not wiped out because of

our sin. It was YHVHs love that worked through Mosesthat caused him to laydown his own life for the people. The verse that says, love cast out fearbecomes alive when you think about the situation of Moses facing YHVH in atime when He was very angry with the people of Israel. Moses love for thepeople made him face and plead before YHVH the Almighty in a time that willcause you to shiver. In the same way, we know that Yshua is pleading for usbefore the Father.

Yshua the Judge: A lot of people get the wrong perception of the Father, theGod of the Old Testament Who is always angry vs. Jesus / Yshua the God ofthe New Testament Who is loving and kind. They think that the Son replaced

the Father and that this is a New Dispensation. This is not true because it ifYshua that will be the Judge at the end of time(James 5:9), not the Father, andYshua will be the angry God Who will destroy those who rejected His Bloodand Life He offered as well as rejected His Covenant He made with Abraham,as well as those of His Children who trampled on His blood, sinning repeatablebecause of Grace (Heb 10:29) and those Who refused His Commandmentswho lived lawless who never knew Him (Matt 7:21-23).

Exo 34:1-2 And YHVH said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stonelike unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that werein the first tables, which you broke. 2And be ready in the morning, and

come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present yourself there toMe in the top of the mount.

Moses went back up the Mountain for the second time and had to prepare twotablets so that YHVH could write the Commandments again. Right after Hewrote the Commandments, YHVH revealed Himself to Moses after hidingMoses in a rock because he asked YHVH to show him His Glory. YHVHrevealed nine attributes of Himself to Moses:

Exo 34:5-7 And YHVH descended in the cloud, and stood with himthere, and proclaimed the Name of YHVH. 6And YHVH passed by beforehim, and proclaimed, YHVH, YHVH Elohim, mercifuland gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodnessand truth, 7 keepingmercy for thousands, forgiving iniquityand transgression andsin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting theiniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the childrenschildren, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

All these attributes are of a loving Father who planned to send His only Son todie so that we can live, even if we do not deserve it. We find seven positive

attributes or attributes of blessing and two attributes of discipline. This meansthat the Father is more loving and kind and gracious than the skewed picture ofan angry God who just wants to smite sinners. All these attributes are portrayedby Yshua; firstly He expressed the seven positive attributes as the Savior andsecondly, He will express the last two attributes as the Judge. This shows thatthe Father and the Son are truly One (Echad).

Prophetic Application: Moses went up the Mountain for 40 days, then hecame down again, broke the Tablets as a sign of Israel breaking theCommandments. After that He went back up gain to renew the Commandmentsto present it to the people for the second time. This is a picture of Yshuas First

Coming and Second Coming; the first time He came, he found His Peoplebreaking His Commandments by changing His Word. Then He went back to HisFather so that He can come back a Second time to renew again and will comeback with His Commandments, written on new Tablets during His SecondComing.
