We’ll enjoy a special day with Neal Hatfield and the summer team from Uplands Reach. They’ll be sharing with us in Sunday School and Worship. ALL the ADULTS and YOUTH will meet TOGETHER in the Sanctuary for Sunday School at 9:45 am. The CHILDREN (1st - 5th grade) will enjoy a very “hands on” lesson taught by Neal’s son - Justin. Some of the team will share a special lesson with our YOUNGER CHILDREN (K and under) in both Sunday School & Worship. In worship at 11 am - we’ll enjoy some drama, testimonies, special music and a powerful message from Neal. We’ll receive a “LOVE OFFERING” for the ministry of Uplands Reach and afterwards enjoy a church-wide “COVERED DISH LUNCHEON” together. Invite others to join us for this SPECIAL DAY at MBC!!

NO ADULT CHOIR PRACTICE... We’re taking a break from our normal routine on Wednesday nights and will

not meet during the month of July. If you would like to share a song on Sunday

morning during this month, please see Rich. We’ll resume practice after

Vacation Bible School - tentatively on August 10th!!

The Downtown Business Association and Volunteer Fire Department of Yadkinville cordially invites everyone to their annual 4th of July Celebration - THIS MONDAY.

The PARADE starts at 3 pm down Main Street and the FESTIVAL begins at 3:30 pm at Yadkinville Elementary School that will feature food, arts & crafts, entertainment, games, the Yadkin Valley Cruisers and a program to honor our

veterans...culminating with the FIREWORKS at dark. Bring your lawn chair for a FUN-FILLED Celebration!!

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT… You’re invited to enjoy “Family Movie Night at the Park” on FRIDAY NIGHT - July 15th at the Yadkinville Community Park. The cartoons start at 8:30 pm and the

movie begins at 8:45 pm. The event is FREE and concessions will be available. Bring your

lawn chairs and enjoy a fun night of family friendly entertainment!!

YOUTH GOING MIDNIGHT BOWLING…YOUTH GOING MIDNIGHT BOWLING…YOUTH GOING MIDNIGHT BOWLING…YOUTH GOING MIDNIGHT BOWLING… On FRIDAY - JULY 15th - we’ll meet at the church at 10:30 pm to ride together over to Creekside Lanes in W/S for MIDNIGHT BOWLING!! The cost is $ 12 for unlimited bowling & shoe rental. You’ll need extra money for snacks and drinks. Please let Katrina know if you need her to bring you home afterwards, because we’ll be there till 2 am. Bring a friend with ya & let’s have FUN!!

LOOK UP LODGE SUMMER CAMP!! We’ll meet at the church on Friday (July 22nd) at 9 am to load up and depart for camp. We’ll return in the late afternoon on Monday (July 25th). If you would like to donate any SNACKS, GATORADE, DRINKS, WATER for our youth to enjoy while at camp, please have these items to the church by SUNDAY - JULY 17th.

H.L. Wooten, Jim Graham, Lee Sloan, Susie Hoots, Waddell Watters and Cory Yost. On

Sunday morning - July 17th - the committee will supply our membership with a nomination

form, allowing time for the form to be completed and then the committee will collect them.

They will compile these nominations and submit a list of nominees to the Deacons as soon

as possible. The Deacons will have the responsibility of compiling a final list of nominees, two

for each vacancy and by mid-August - they hope to be able to present this list to our church

membership for prayerful consideration. We will vote by written ballot in our annual Church

Conference on August 31st.

If you know that you’ll not be at church on Sunday - July 17th, please see H.L., Jim or Lee

- so they can discuss with you how you might be able to submit your nominees.

To the crews who helped prepare, serve and cleaned-up at each of our meals (Dinner on Monday & Breakfast on Wednesday), to those who took the daily “morning snack”, to those who prepared, served and cleaned-up the daily lunches, to those who were willing to “pick up supplies & food items”, to those who gave to help “fund” our efforts, to our TEAM of adults & youth who participated at a work site, to our leadership team who kept us focused & on track and to the MANY who donated the supplies - THANK YOU!! We’ve made an ETERNAL DIFFERENCE for the KINGDOM!

LOOKING FOR SOME COOKS… For the last 2 years, we’ve been offering a MEAL

on Wednesday nights, so our families could enjoy

spending time together with their fellow members at

MBC. It has enriched our lives; as well as, our

church fellowship PLUS offered the opportunity for

our TEAMS to raise MONIES for various mission

endeavors.

So, we’re looking for those who would be willing

to serve beginning in September. We’re hoping to

have 6-8 different teams of 4 people...who would

serve on a rotation basis...preparing & serving our

“Family Night Meals” from Sept 7th - November

16th. Your team would decide which mission or

ministry would benefit from the proceeds of your

meal.

We’ll be looking at having a meeting of those

interested in serving as TEAM CAPTAINS in

August. If you served last year and would like to

continue to be involved in this ministry effort or are

interested in “jumping in” this year - please see

Jimmy or Elaine...so we can stay in touch with you

about the date for our upcoming meeting.

VBS DECORATIONS…

If you know of a church who recently had their VBS and would be willing to let

us borrow their decorations to use during our VBS or if you’ve traveled to NYC and have some “souvenirs” that you wouldn’t mind sharing with us to use during VBS,

transforming our facility into a metropolitan BIG CITY for VBS!!
