Open-ended instruction under discussion : 設計一實驗,以比較三種水果(甲、乙、丙)的還原糖含量

1. 把橙榨汁(切開,用手作榨汁器榨汁)

2. 把 3c.c. 的橙汁用針筒注入試管(其餘兩種水果一樣)

3. 標示水果名稱

4. 把本立德溶液逐滴加入,直至果汁變色

5. 如此類推,其餘兩種水果做相同的步驟。

6. 加入最少滴試劑的果汁而能變色的,還原糖的含量就最高。

**經同學反詰後修正: 加 2cc本立德溶液在 2cc果汁中,再放入沸水溶液。得出紅色沉澱物後用灑紙過濾,濾紙乾後,用電子磅秤量沉澱物。

比較三種水果沉澱物的重量,愈多沉澱物,表示還原糖愈多。

We got 4 suggestions from students and they discovered something novel in each of them

When running water hit on the egg

directly ,the egg floated.

This is a phenomenon in Physics , same as the pressure difference that lifts up the wings of planes.

(Though the answer is not accepted by the teacher as acid is not water.)
