Eternit plantAfter a closely research of the area on topology, geology, landscape, social, economical and roads infrastructure I started to develop the master plan for Niederurnen and until midterm critics I had come up also with a concept for the building and factory site. Until the final critic I expanded and polished my idea and made plans, sections, facade and model.

My view for the project was to reintegrate the old factory site into the village of Niederurnen and Oberurnen, because the old sit is establish in between the two settlements in my opinion it is the natural way to connect the two towns, to bring them together to grow and develop faster. I tried also to integrate the new plant into the sit and the landscape and by that I am referring to the vicinity, the mountain site. By simplifying the real volume of the mountain, I designed the building volume and the all idea behind this started from a picture with a mountain pick, from there I took the triangle like symbol to develop my project.

Surface of: 2100 sq. The pavilion "the village garden" represents a center for the park in the central area of the village Aurel Vlaicu that is part of the city Geoagiu from county Hunedoara. The village fairs and celebrations will have a place to happen. On the background that lacks community spirit is being proposed some key functions that will participate to concentration of activities that will bring the people together in one place. The pavilion is a reference to the traditional house in the area with stone base and wood for the upper floors. The purpose of this structure is to remind the people about "genius loci", to remind the traditional lifestyle and their connection with nature.

Concert Hall Near the «Icoanei» garden in Bucarest. The proposal is made to work like a multipurpose hall and a community center. The main building can be used for concerts, theather, cinema and other similar activities and the second small building from the courtyard is for workshops. The idea comes after thinking that the main street, Arthur Verona is used in the summer as a space for cultural events, exhibitions, bookshops, wood work and music. Also the multitude of cafes and the main bookshop around Crturesti is seen as a cultural center itself. The space between the two proposed buildings forms an area that can be used as a possible gathering place, skate park and outdoor cinema, even concerts if needed. I went for a modern approach so the objects can be easily noticed and attract young people.

The barn here has a borrowed and adapted architecture (from the Swiss barn). From what I believe and researched the barn is mostly used now as a garage, convenient, big space, protected, closed, it can hide any collector’s treasure. Talking about cars and car numbers, people in Liechtenstein have more cars and vehicles than they actually need and thinking about sustainability and space this can be an issue. After i consulted statistics from last year and few back, with my estimation all people over 18 that can own a vehicle/car have more than one. Probably there are few that have one and the rest more than one or two. Where do you store so many cars?Cinema graphs and pictures we created as collage, send a message to the viewer and questions as well. In the section I took this path of taking the problem to the extreme by densifying the ground floor with cars or other vehicles to point out my message. Model is used as a viewing machine from the visitor’s point of view, it helps to see the picture in a 3d space experience and is used as a base for the section cinema graph.Look out, look in.

This project explored the potential of combining sustainable energy production with desirable public space and leisure amenities through the means of a TidalLagoon located within Dublin Bay. This concept of combining two typicallypolarised aspects of our built environment would hopefully irradiate thecommon instinctive stigmas that sustainable technologies and lifestyle result in acompromise.

The Lagoon consists of a large causeway that connects Poolbeg and Dun Laoghaire Harbour which will enclose the Sandymount and Blackrock Bay. A section of the causeway located near Dun Laoghaire will house theturbines within sluice gate openings. As the sea outside the causeway rises and is held back a difference in water levels is created, known as ‘head’, and once asufficient head height is reached sluice gates are opened and water flows into the lagoon through turbines to generate electricity. This process then occurs in reverse meaning the tides can flow through our turbines four times daily togenerate power.

MASTERPLAN BUCHS-SCHAAN. EXISTING SITUATIONSTRENGTHS

-Landscape that is easily harnessed-Closeness of the two settlements-Rhine-Existing green area along the Rhine -Three existing bridges direct access between Buchs and Schaan -Surrounding alpine area-Mixed character of the urban tissue mixed activities-Good public transport from outside of the cities but also inside and between the two cities

WEAKNESSES

-A lot of trac on the highway that leads to pollution -Not a big diversity in transportation when it comes to connection to another big cities-Poor access for pedestrians between Buchs and Schaaan on the main connection road -Lack of cultural activities in the area-Low density for living

OPPORTUNITIES

-Very good opportunity for Buchs to develop faster because of the proximity of the highway-The location can increase communication between Austria, Liechten-stein, Switzerland and Germany-Connections through public transport insures ease of access to other areas in the city-Areas lacking commercial activities/ economical- can attract inves-tors-Developing Rhine bank

BUCHS AND SCHAAN TRAFFIC SYSTEM

Legend

Forest/green spaceImportant roadsUnderground RailwayBicycle wayUnderground highway

scale: 1:15000

ITS spots along the road will deliver information about traf-c ahead, helping drivers plan ahead and avoid accidents.Started in Japan in 2009 to make highway driving safer by connecting cars and the road, ITS spots were placed along the side of highways ahead of curves, transmitting infor-mation on trac congestion, lane merges and other road conditions ahead.

By linking cars with public transportation the next genera-tion of urban traffic system will help you enjoy stress-free transport.

The main aim is to improve the traffic system between Buchs and Schaan so for the future the distances will be shorter and we will have a bigger diversity of transportation and a system that links all the possibilities together for a easier ac-cess and a cleaner air. Variety : Buses, train, bicycle, horses and electric cars. The new plan is to encourage the bicycle paths that can be used with horses also and for walking.

Making a comfortable, waste-free Eco-life possible for everyone. Linking vehicles with homes and communities to optimize energy across entire towns.

Connecting cars and homes:Your car will not just charge at home. When electricity us-age is high, your car can help power your home, contribut-ing to the next generation of smart energy management.

Intelligent transport systems:Zero traffic accidents. Using technology to connect cars to cars, pedestrians and even the road, we are building a safe mobility society.

Reach your destination using more than just cars. Leave your car at the nearest station and travel in a smart envi-ronmentally-friendly way using trains and sharing services for small vehicles or bicycles.

Zero carbon city

The aim is to improve the future trough development of settlements, usage of space, water management and renewable city. Leading Idea is that there is a trend for protecting the resources, have renewable energy and maybe to reevaluate a trend from the past and place it into the future. Trends can repeat, so the problem to be solved is to take care of our footprint, to try to repair the damages and to improve the quality of life and air that we breathe. Leading theme can be protecting environment and developing the city of Buchs and Schaan as sustainable cities and independent with an extension that will connect the with the Rhine, city center and the farming/agriculture.

Aspects to take into consideration:Water: what to do with RhineEnergy: RenewableGreen: to integrate, keep and growRailways: is can be a center of attractionDensity: less or the same as in the cityFunctions: how to expand and relate to the existentConnection: with the river plus the connection with Schaan

Masterplan and regulation plan for Aurel Vlaicu village

The project refers to Geoagiu town and surrounding territory, Romania, hunedoara county.

For the first phase we synthetized the territorial unit analysis and we emphasized the problems, dangers, elements that we need to take advantage of and on the basis of this study, the diagnostic, and of 4 versions of development, we formulated the strategy for the whole territory.

When designing the layout plan for a locality, I had in mind the balanced development of the village and I focused my attention (for the second phase) to the center of the village . The history of the village weighed a lot, I placed an emphasis on the relationship with it being the birthplace of Aurel Vlaicu, which is the main idea, everything I proposed to be developed supports the idea of tradition, balance and unity.
