A sound background in science, technology, engineering, and

mathematics is critical to a successful future for 21st century

    students.

SCSA will engage its students in a blended instructional program

that introduces a wide variety of scientific topics as they progress

through the grades. Mathematics necessary for effective

communication of scientific data and problem solving is also amajor part of the curriculum emphasis.

The science and math courses will have the purpose of engaging

students and demonstrating their importance for ensuring success

in the vast possibilities of future opportunities in fields related to

    science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Within the students junior and senior years, courses of study will

be determined by the STEM trackselected from areas such as

physics, chemistry, natural science, life science,

    or computer science.
