Justines Sweets and Buko Pies is a small scale of a family business

owned by Mr. Larry and Mrs. Sally Sarmiento. It is located at Sto. Tomas,

Batangas and started on !!" w#en Mr. Sarmiento return to t#e P#ili$$ines

from t#e sea to start t#eir business. T#ey start from a small budget until it

began to grow more for it to be enoug# to sustain t#eir daily life. It is known

for t#eir s$ecialty in making and selling buko $ie and sweets $rimarily

$astillas, masa$an and yema. T#ey are also known for always smiling in

front of t#eir costumer and treat t#em as one of t#em. T#e business only

#a%e t#ree workers t#at also came from t#e family.

&n t#e long run of Justines Sweets and Buko Pies, it also e'$eriences

many #indrances but t#e $roblem most urgently needed to be sol%ed is t#e

s#ortage on storage s$ace. (rom t#at t#e researc#ers came u$ wit# t#e

$ro)ect *oor $lan. T#is $ro)ect aims to $ro%ide con%enience and e+icient

*oor $lan for Justines Sweet and Buko Pies t#at can #el$ to ma'imie t#e

works$ace area.

To #a%e successful out$ut, t#e $ro)ect is guided by t#e following ob)ecti%es-

To analye and e%aluate t#e current storage area in conditions of its

structure and $lan.

To determine t#e a$$ro$riate dimension and create a new *oor $lan

for t#e storage t#at is suitable for t#e workers.

To conduct a works#o$ for t#e awareness and learning of t#e workers

of t#e new work$lace and t#e more con%enient storage $lan.

T#e $ro)ect is su$$orted by %arious e%idences of success. To start, t#e

minutes of t#e meeting ser%e as t#e ma)or indication of $rogress, for suc#

$a$ers #old all t#e features of t#e $ro)ect from $lanning to e'ecution. T#e

accom$lis#ed/ 0lled u$ sur%ey forms, on t#e ot#er #and, indicate t#at t#ere

was a sur%ey e'ecuted. T#e result from t#e conducted sur%ey is not $arallelto t#e e'$ectations set by t#e researc#ers.

$ro)ect is only concerned about t#e ma'imiation of t#e works$ace area, it
