Temple Beth Abraham's mission is to provide our congregants with opportunities to create meaningful connections to
God, Torah, the Jewish People and the surrounding Community.
We remember, with love, the Six Million whose lives were taken during the Holocaust.
We also remember, with love, those who were taken from our midst this week in years past and
commemorate the anniversaries of their passing.

TBA Yom HaShoah Service with Guest Speaker Ellen Kaidanow
Wednesday, May 1 at 7:30pm
Join us as we gather to remember those who perished in
the Holocaust and hear stories from those who survived.
Ellen Kaidanow, our guest speaker, is the daughter-in-law
of two Holocaust survivors. She shares the story of her
mother-in-law (also Ellen) and her miraculous tale of
becoming the sole survivor in her family at the age of six.
Ellen wants to honor and help others of all religions have
a personal connection to the Holocaust so they become
witnesses. Most important, she wants to influence others to be
“upstanders,” not bystanders.
The service will include a memorial candle lighting and is appropriate
for children aged 8 and up. Members and guests are urged to attend.

To the End of the Land By: David Grossman
Ora, a middle aged Israeli mother describes the realities of

continuous warfare and strife. Ora believes that Israel has no
future. "It doesn't really have a chance, this country. It just
doesn't." Will you agree with her when you finish reading this book?
Free for Temple members; $2.00 for guests.
