Actively participate in the ideating process for a show. This helps to bring out the nuances of the show in the promo.

Visit & attend the shoot on location, creatively assisting the Producer in fixing takes which would give me better options at the time of editing the same. Thereby having a collaborative outlook.

Create and edit path breaking promo’s that convey the ‘gist’ of the show which comes from the understanding and choice of apt visuals and complimenting audio. Developing absolute interest in the mind of the promo viewers so they look forward to watching the actual show when aired, without misleading them. This is one of the core responsibilities of a promo editor.

Consistently provide quality output within the tight deadlines this industry demands. Guiding new & junior promo editors through the processes and regularly supervise their edits.

Freelance Editor

Part of the team which created the trailers for the Hindi film ‘Do Dooni Chaar’ directed by Habib Faisal and Produced by Disney World Cinema in association with Planman Motion Pictures, released in 2010.

Two episodes of the popular comic show ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Fail Champu Hain’ on channel ‘Filmy’, Sahara One Network.

Introductory episode of ‘Aajaa Mahi Vay’, an Indian Television dance competition on channel Start Plus.

Part of the team for the Cricket event Indian Premier League (IPL), Season 1, Sony Entertainment Television. Key responsibilities included making player profiles and editing montages.

Television Series ‘La Lola’ & ‘Forward’ on channel Firangi, Sahara One Network. La Lola was an Argentine comedy show that was dubbed in Hindi hence key responsibilities included sound / lip sync.

Punjabi Television film ‘Jaidaad’.

Promos for the Hindi film ‘Kahani Gudiya Ki’.

Upgrading, re-edit and color corrections for 26 episodes of the TV serial ‘Phool aur Patthar’, Sab TV.
