RE Students and Parents!
Religious Educa!on Program 2019/ 2020 The Religious Education Program is a 3 year Program with parent participation and regular Mass attendance. 1st Year Students- Intro to the Faith classes are held the first two Sunday’s after the family Masses 2nd & 3rd Year classes are held on Wednesday nights 6:00 pm- 7:30 pm. Parent classes are held the first two Thursday's of the month. Forms can be found on the website or in Parish/ RE office. Children who have received all sacraments, these registrations are for you as well! We hope to see you in our classes in September! At the time of registration please come with child’s baptism certificate and payment.

St. Luke is again partnering with St. Vincent de Paul and Deer Valley Unified School District to help schools and families in our community with much
needed back to school supplies.
While you are out doing your regular shopping, watch for those upcoming deals and sales and pick up
a few items from our list of needs.
Don’t go out shopping...use your Smile.amazon.com account and give back twice! Once for the supplies and the second is a
percentage of every purchase comes back to St. Luke.
We will be collecting items throughout July 14th. So drop the school supplies in the box found in the
vestibule. Thank you for your support.

I’m originally from Bakersfield, California and the youngest of a family of six. My parents immigrated from Zacatecas, Mexico in to the United States in 1960, move to Arizona in June of 1997. I have been a catechist for 8 years, Youth Team Lead for 5 years and an Annulment Minister for 4 years; I enjoy doing community services. In my career experience I have a accomplished an administrative professional, coordinating and implementing organizational policies, program, and to support management with a background of 17 years in Manufacture Environment, 5+ years as HR Coordinator and 3+ years as Finance/Bookkeeping. I visit the blessed sacrament twice a week, attend to Sunday Mass at St. Helen with my family, I like to read
and meditate the daily scriptures. Fr. David Hurtado from Parroquia Cristo Rey in Mexicali, Sonora has influence in my Catholic faith. After attending to one of his healing masses I started to experience a thirst on God, Jesus and Holy Spirit love. Experiencing the presence of the Holy Spirit has impact my life is the most amazing feeling a human can experience. I don't have a preference on a scripture I like them ALL, it depends on the day or the situation I'm experiencing.
