OPENING ACTIVITY
This is a silent activity – so no talking…starting now!
If you agree – walk to the right side of the room
If you disagree – walk to the left side of the classroom
WHAT DID WE LEARN?
Almost everyone has a cell phone or access to a computer
As we use technology more and more in our lives – it is our responsibility to be respectful and responsible when we communicate with others
Despite this fact – most ALL of us have either been harassed or know another person who has been harassed in person, online, or over text messages.

Sexual Harassment Means…
“unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, sexually motivated physical contact, or other verbal or physical conduct or communication of a sexual nature between two or more individuals”

SEXUAL HARASSMENT – HOW CAN YOU STOP IT?
If you feel uncomfortable about something someone has said – Don’t Ignore it – IT’S NOT OKAY!!
Sexual Harassment is in the Eye of The Beholder – the victim is always right
Tell the harasser to STOP Tell someone else, like a
friend or parent Keep a diary or log of any
incidents that occur Write a complaint letter to
an adult Go to a school authority –
like a teacher, principal, or counselor
Contact outside help – like teen line, a relative, or the police
