Day Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1 Hong Kong – Hanoi - Sapa (- ; -; D)

Take the flight to Hanoi and arrive at 09:30 am (suggest to take KA297). Meet your guide at around 10:30 am and start the road trip to Lao Cai. After about 4 hours drive, take a break at Lao Cai and enjoy your lunch (at own expense). Then continue your journey to Sapa with 1 hour drive. Sapa is a small, mountain town in Lao Cai Province. This quiet Vietnamese town is home to different ethnic tribal groups. In Sapa, you will first visit Silver Waterfall (Thac Bac), located 30 mins drive north Sapa. On the trip, you can see the breathtaking view of the rice terrace and take a glimpse to the Vietnams highest peak, Fansipan. Silver Waterfall is formed by sources of water from the Lo Sui Tong mountain peak. From the distance, the waterfall looks like a white dragon looking down from the sky. Then, start a soft trekking to Cat Cat Village where the Black H’mong tribe thrives and go through beautiful rice paddy. Dinner time, you will serve with a must try specialties in Sapa- Salmon Hotpot with wine. With a cool climate all year round and a cold winter, Sapa has successfully raised salmon Nordic breeds. Their flesh even toned and certified with high nutritional content. Later, enjoy free shopping at night market where you can meet the ethnic minorities with traditional and unique feature and get some local souvenirs.

Day 2

Sapa (B ; -; -)

After an early breakfast, we will trekking the highest Peak in Vietnam (3143m)– Fansipan by mountain train and cable car. Take the 4 minutes tram ride from Sa Pa Town to the cable station and continue to take the cable route to reach Fansipan Peak, which also the highest among Indochina. During the whole journey, you can enjoy the view of nature, the majestic mountains of Hoang Lien Son mountain range and overlooking from the top of Fansipan. After lunch, we will process to Ham Rong (if Ham Rong under regular renovation, visit Ta Van Village instead). Here, you can overlooking whole Sapa. Overnight in Sapa

Day 3

Sapa - Hanoi (B ; L ; -)

Today after early breakfast, we will drive back to Hanoi. You will have one of the most essential Vietnamese cuisines – Bun Cha for lunch. How famous is it? Even Obama had tried when he visited to Hanoi!

After lunch, take a visit to The Sword Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple. The Sword Lake has been called by several names, the current name is named after a legend story in early 1428. The lake is associated with a legend in which King Le Thai Tho returns a sword to a sacred turtle after defeating Ming dynasty invaders.

You may enjoy some free time in the old town area before moving to a Water Puppet show. Performances are accompanied by a Vietnamese orchestra playing traditional music. There are also authentic Vietnamese operatic songs telling the story that is being acted out by the puppets. Enjoy the dinner after the show (at own expense).

Overnight in Hanoi

Day 4

Hanoi – Ninh Binh (B ; - ; -)

In the morning, we will visit some iconic attraction in Hanoi including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar pagoda, Ho Chi Minh’s House & Temple of Literature.

After lunch (at own expense), transfer to Ninh Binh, around 1.5 hours drive from Hanoi. Then get on a rowing boat and visit Tam Coc where one of the best nature destinations in Vietnam as it remains firmly off the tourist trail. Discover the full diversity of Vietnamese natural landscapes when you passing through limestone karsts and stone caves. Thereafter, heading to Bai Ding pagoda for last stop. The 700 hectare temple is the largest pagoda in Vietnam, with the 10 meters tall bronze Buddha, with over 500 La Han statues. Final, enjoy the last dinner in Vietnam at own expense.

Day 5 Ninh Binh - Hanoi- Hong Kong (B)

Enjoy some leisure time after breakfast, then drive back to Hanoi airport and back to Hong Kong.
