SAXShare is a new sharing community build by International Students for International students and

others (entrepreneur, lectures, and professional) to develop attractive environment by providing

coworking space and related sharing event. SAXShare is found by exchange students of Business

Engineering Saxion UAS, Novia Evi Fikriyah and Kevin Ilardi. Novia is a final year student in Industrial

Engineering, Telkom University Indonesia, while Kevin Ilardi is a master student of Economic

Engineering, IUP IE University Grenoble, France. The idea to build SAXShare is come from problem thatthere isnt place where international students can meet each other, sharing knowledge, or work

together. Whereas there are two big universities in Enschede, The Netherlands namely Univertiteit

Twente and Saxion UAS, so number of international student is a lot here. In fact, the students come

from countries around the world consist of Asian, American, African, or European and believing that this

diversity is a big opportunity for brilliant ideas come up thanks to collaboration. However, most of

international students only meet in class room. Some outclass communities is provided, but mostly in

    dutch.

The story continue when Novia and Kevin joined Phillips Innovation Award in Delft University, The

Netherlands. They experience business incubator provided there where many students come and

develop their start up business. The start up companies are given direction and guided byprofessional ti build their business. Beside that they also share experience and give feedback to other

start up, solving problem together. From here, Novia and Kevin started to find a building so

international students can be there to share knowledge, present their projects, and work. As the first

step, they open coworking space. Coworking is a style of work that involves a shared working

environment, often an office and independent activity. Coworking doesnt necessarily share the same

objective, creation, or goal so just get your own creativity juice flowing. You can do your own thing but

within the same room. Coworkers work in a coworking space. The reason is other people enhances your

creativity juice and the secure feeling that you have someone you ask for help or just simply share a

laugh or interest. Decrease loneliness. The bonus is that when the other coworker has the ability to help

you with simple question and the cherry on top is when you are collaborating. So coworking space is the

perfect environment for collaboration to happen.

SAXShare coworking space first launched on January, 18th 2014. From KOSS student association Saxion

UAS, SAXXhare got place to open coworking space each Saturday, named De General located in

Stadsgravenstraat 41-43 7511 EP, The Netherlands. As the beginning, SAXShares strategy is introducing

this coworking space to many people so they know that there is a place to work in Saturday now

because campus is close on weekend. The launching was success and there an awesome presentation

from one of magazine in Enschede.
