• Manage the IESO (Independent Electric System Operator) project for the implementation for Meter Data Management supporting over 79 electric distribution companies and over 4 million electric meters.

Leader on the Market Management team for AMI and market development focusing on business development. The role’s focus was broad in terms of an internal focusing of matching utility requirements to Trilliant solution offerings, sales support in responding to AMI proposals for large utilities, identifying partnership opportunities to leverage market positions and supporting regulatory workshops, conference and market positioning.

Managed the development and operations of the consolidated IT infrastructure for 5 gas and electric distribution utilities. The role’s focus was the design and implementation of a shared service model and the daily operational management for a 24 X 7 environment in support of grid operations.
• Successfully let the architecture and implementation teams for the implementation of SAP, eDiscovery, disaster recovery, data consolation and SharePoint and messaging projects
• Worked with special project teams on the architecture of SAP for customer information systems, mobile workforce management and back office systems including participation with the SAP Lighthouse working group on smart metering.
ADVANCED METERING INFRASTRUCTURE (SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT), ENERGY EAST
Project Lead on the effort to map the AMI Use Case model to the specific requirements for Energy East. Spent 15 months working on the Energy East AMI project covering key initiatives.
• Developed initial project planning for AMI initiative by defining project scope, drawing up project schedule, and evaluating business process impacts.
• Implemented system architecture design planning including impacts to Customer Information Systems (CIS), outage system management, web presentation, and work management.
Actively participated in several industry organizations to develop solutions for Energy East including AMI MDM from Utilipoint, Utilimetrics, and the SAP Lighthouse Council on AMI. DIRECTOR OF INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES, PG&E NATIONAL ENERGY GROUP 1999-‐2002
Promoted from Manager of Systems Engineering to lead 35 -‐ 50 personnel including senior engineers, middle managers, and project managers charged with supporting IT infrastructure for national energy company with a 24-‐hour trading floor and 2,200 total employees. Conducted strategic planning for future growth, resolved complex issues, managed vendor relationships, and reviewed internal customer proposals for additional IT systems. Defined priorities and goals, and led meetings with staff, management, and customers.
