CONSEJOS DE COLOCACIÓN Y MANTENIMIENTOPLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE ADVICES

COLOCACIONLa colocación de GRIS PULPIS se realizará mediante la técnica de capa fina utilizando adhesivos cementosos o bien adhesivos en dispersión y adhesivos de resinas de reacción contemplados por la norma de referencia UNE-EN 12004.Se desaconseja la utilización de la técnica de capa gruesa con morteros tradicionales. Es completamente inadmisible la colocación a pegotes y la compensación de desviaciones de aplomado o planitud con el grosor del adhesivo.

REQUISITOS GENERALESGeneralmente se utilizará adhesivos cementosos tipo C2, contemplados por la norma de UNE-EN 12004, especialmente en exteriores tanto en pavimentos como en recubrimientos. En pavimentos interiores también se puede usar adhesivos cementosos tipo C1, contemplados por la norma de UNE-EN 12004 los cuales se prepararán siempre siguiendo las indicaciones del fabricante.

Capa del material de agarre entre 5 y 10 mm de espesor. Se precisa aplicar con llana dentada para asegurar la homogeneidad de la capa, especialmente en adhesivos en dispersión y de reacción. La superficie a recubrir debe estar plana, madura, estable, seca, y libre de polvo y / o suciedad que pueda comprometer la adherencia.No es recomendable humectar la baldosa con agua.Nunca colocar baldosas donde se prevé una humedad capilar desde el soporte, en estos casos es imprescindible ejecutar una impermeabilización previa.

REJUNTADOEl rejuntado se realizará transcurridas al menos 24 horas desde la colocación de las piezas para evitar que el agua de amasado pueda provocar manchas de humedad en las baldosas y sobre todo alrededor de las juntas de colocación. La aplicación del material de rejuntado se realizará según las instrucciones del fabricante. Generalmente utilizaremos un material de rejuntado tipo CG2 según UNE-EN 13888, que permite el paso del vapor de agua pero es impermeable al agua en estado líquido.

LIMPIEZAPara un correcto acabado del revestimiento pétreo, es necesario proceder a la limpieza final de la obra. De este modo se retiraran los restos de cemento, materiales de sellado de juntas y cualquier otro residuo. Para ello, se debe utilizar detergentes neutros, nunca desincrustantes ácidos ya que este tipo de productos pueden atacar químicamente en las baldosas recién instaladas.

PULIDODebemos tener en cuenta que el proceso de pulido sobre las baldosas no es sino que una agresión mecánica que puede comprometer la adherencia de las piezas, por lo que se debe de realizar cuando el material de agarre esté completamente fraguado.En el proceso de cristalizado tenemos de cerciorarnos que el proceso de evaporación del agua del soporte, material de agarre y agua del material de rejuntado ha concluido, y no existe riesgo de evaporación de agua alguno. De lo contrario provocaríamos un acumulo de manchas de humedad en la superficie del recubrimiento.

MANTENIMIENTOEs aconsejable para el tratamiento de los mármoles la aplicación de un producto hidrorepelente y oleorepelente para mejorar su aspecto y su mantenimiento. Disponemos de mayor información técnica en www.lifestone.es

Generally use a jointing material type CG2 according to UNE-EN 13888, which allows water vapour but is impermeable to liquid water.

CLEANING For proper completion of the stone cladding, it is necessary to proceed to a complete final cleaning. This means the removal of the remains of concrete, joint sealing materials and other waste. To do this, use neutral detergent, acid descaling ever since such products can chemically attack on the newly installed tile.

MAINTENANCE It is advisable for the treatment of marbles applying a hydro-repellent and oleorepellent product to improve its appearance and maintenance.
