ALL STUDENTS I appreciate the way that many of you have used the Sprigeo.com web site to report bullying and safety threats. The information you have reported has led to less bullying and violence at our school. Everyone has a right to feel safe at our school. If you see someone in an unsafe situation or you feel unsafe, use the online reporting form at Sprigeo.com or their new app to let me know. You can download the app either from the Apple store r the Google Play store. GIRLS SOFTBALL There will be a mandatory meeting in Room 1007 on Wednesday, October 15th for any girls who are going to be trying out for softball in the spring. The meeting will begin at the beginning of lunch and last no longer than 10 min. ALL STUDENTS Student’s please remember to follow the dress code. Straps must be wider than 2 inches; shorts must be mid-thigh, no holey pants, no oversized shirts. No red on red. Dress code is being strictly enforced and the consequence is Saturday School. TEACHER OF THE Don’t forget to vote for your favorite teacher in the student office. Your vote counts!! GIRLS SOCCER First day of pre-season training is today at 3:30-4:30 Make sure you have your physical

ALL STUDENTS Calling all actors and actresses. A new after school class started on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The class will run from 3:30-4:30 every Wednesday and Thursday. If you’ve

ever wanted to learn and perform dramas or comedies, or just simply watch musical theatre, then this is your class. Please join us in room 1502 and bring your tapping shoes!

SENIORS Boston University is offering a four-year, FULL-TUITION scholarship. The deadline to

apply is December 1, 2014. For more information go to: www.bu.edu/admissions/trustee

ALL STUDENTS Students, if you are a 9th, 10th or 11th grader and you did not sign up for the October 15th

PSAT, you have one more opportunity! We have 20 tests left. Please see Mrs. Reed at the student office and pay your $15.00 at the debt window ASAP. Thanks

SADIE HAWKINS Attention all ladies... It's time to start thinking about who you'd like to ask to Sadie's! The

class of 2018 is excited to host this years "Sadie's Goes 80's" at Cal Skate in Clovis on Friday, November 21. Tickets will go on sale a week in advance and all guest passes are

due Nov. 5. Get your date lines up because this is one event you won't want to miss!

ALL STUDENTS Have you checked your school email? Important school information, including extended

lunch tutorial assignments, will be sent to your school email. If you haven’t logged in this year it’s never too late to start.

CLUB LATINO There will be a MANDATORY Club Latino meeting this Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the

beginning of lunch in Mexican Dance room 317. Please be prompt! We’ll be discussing our

fieldtrip and fundraisers. This will also be the last day for anyone wanting to become a member.

RISING Rising Generation will be meeting Thursday in room 2310 at 12:45. See you there! GENERATION/

BIBLE CLUB

CELL PHONES & Please be respectful of the NO cell phone & IPOD rule from 8 AM – 3:30 PM. If your cell IPODS phone is confiscated; A Parent/guardian must come to Selma High to pick up the item. No

excuses. Please be respectful of the Selma High School Rules.

HOMECOMING Is this Friday after the game from 10-midnight. It’s a black light dance so be sure to wear

DANCE white or neon! The cost is Free w/ ASB, $5 for ID, $8 for Approved guests. Guest passes are due by TODAY- No exceptions!

STUDENT PARKING All students who drive to school need to obtain a parking permit! You can pick up an

PERMIT application in the front office with Mrs. Salinas or see Lucy. There is no cost for a parking permit and only need a copy of their Driver’s License and current insurance card.

LINK CREW Attention Link Leaders: Don’t forget about your Freshmen! Please remember to stay in touch and remind them of the upcoming events. What’s the one thing that most seniors

say by the time their seniors? “I wish I would have been more involved!” Inspire your

freshmen and every student on campus to make the most of every moment and don’t live with the regret of waiting too long to get involved. Your time here at SHS goes fast and the

memories will last a lifetime!
