Sikh Youth Academy (SYA) SYA conducts Punjabi language and Sikh
history classes
every Sunday at 11 AM. There are 150 students studying
at SYA and 15 teachers are teaching these students.
Registration is open throughout the year. This Sewa is
going on with the full support of the Gurughar Manage-
ment Committee.
Gurmat Camp - April 15th Gurmat Camp for kids age 5 years and
above will be held
at SYA on Saturday, April 15th.
Citizenship Test Classes Weekly Citizenship Test preparation
classes will be held
every Sunday beginning, March 26th 2017. Call 707-893-
PACA or come to SYA at 11 AM any Sunday for more
information.
Vaisakhi 2017 PACA/SYA will be participating in the Turban Camp
and
other festivities during this years Vaisakhi festival.
4th of July 2017 Please join PACA/SYA for the 4th of July parade
in Fair-
field downtown. This is a great opportunity for Sikh com-
munity to show appreciation for our adopted country. We
distribute free water and “Sikh Faith” pamphlets along the
parade route. This participation wins goodwill for our com-
munity.
Annual Seminar/Festival PACA’s annual Diversity Festival in
Downtown Theater
started fifteen years ago as a seminar to enhance aware-
ness about Sikh faith and Punjabi culture. This year’s di-
versity festival and seminar will be held on September 9th
2017.
Annual Blanket Drive Helping poor and needy is deeply ingrained
in Sikh faith.
Every year, PACA with the support of Sikh community
donates free blankets and jackets to needy of Solano
County during Thanksgiving season.
