As System Administrators we willl also be installing and configuring Solution Manager 72 from now on

So I decided to install it on premise Cloud version of Solution Manager 72 is also available on SAP Cloud Appliance Library

Prepare a system for installation If possible find a system that you could install SM 72 on HANA DBUnfortunately I did not have chance to use HANA DB I installed my system on SQL Server 2012 Mysystem is a virtual system with 4 vCPU and 32 GB of RAM and enough disks

Hello Mukesh Here are the answers 1shy When you are maintaining UME information you give the ABAP systems info anduser informations 2shy I put my Java DB in my ABAP DB Instance You can install them on different instancesAlso you can install the ABAP Java instances on seperate hosts 3shy I am not sure about it but I think the system definitions come from SMP And SMP isgetting the info from your solution manager I need to check this also If you find a doc sendus also please 4 In that link you could either plan a new system using Plan a New System and or selecta system to plan a software change on your system by clicking Plan RregardsYuksel AKCINAR

Hi Folks I am stuck in installing SOLMAN 71 on Windows 2012 R2 standard machineDownloaded all media from MarketPlaceFaced a lot of issues as not all needed media were in the same place like The KernelEach time I got stuck at one level Import ABAP

My question Is it easier to install SOLMAN 72 so i can switch And which version of Software Provisioning i shall use mine is 10 and does not show theSOLMAN 72 in the options list

Hi Yogesh I must have misused Maintenance Planner because it was trying to install SolutionManager 72 with SAP Fiori for Solution Manager 10 instead of Netweaver 74I was able to regenerate a stack file with the correct information and it worked However I am now stuck during the installation of SP01 with SUM Upgrade is stuck during phase MAIN_UPTRANSSUCCCHK because of TransportRequest SAPKshy74022INCTSPLGN I have followed the recommendations of SAP Note 2197897 and it has not workedso farI am opening an OSS message for this problem Thank you for your time
