Devotion of the First Saturdays of the Month

Seven years after the end of the Fatima revelations, the Blessed Virgin Mary allowed Sister Lucia to reveal the contents of the second part of the Fatima secret. Its content was the devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. On the same day, December 10, 1925, Our Lady presented one of the essential parts of the cult of her Immaculate Heart: the devotion to the first Saturdays of the month.

It was on this day, when Lucia was in Pontevedra, that the Blessed Virgin appeared to Her, and at Her side, in brightness, the Child Jesus. Mary put her hand on her shoulder and

showed her heart surrounded by thorns. The Child Jesus said:

Have mercy on the Heart of your Blessed Mother, surrounded by thorns, with which

ungrateful people hurt her again and again, and there is no one who can pull

these thorns out by the act of penance. Then Mary said: My daughter, look, My heart is surrounded by thorns, which ungrateful people, through blasphemy and disregard, are constantly hurting it. At least you try to comfort me and tell everyone that I promise to come to the aid of the hour of death with all the graces necessary to save those who, during

the next 5 months on the first Saturdays, will make confession, take

Holy Communion, pray the rosary, and for 15 minutes will accompany Me,

reflecting on the 15 mysteries of the rosary for the purpose of compensation.

For some time now, many people in our parish have been pointing out the need to resume these

special devotions. So it happened and since June this year, every first Saturday of the month, we gather together for the Holy Mass at 7.30 AM to compensate all blasphemy and disrespect that hurt painfully the Immaculate Heart of Mary. In order to fulfill the conditions of the first Saturday, with a heart full of sanctifying grace, we take Holy Communion. After the Holy Mass, we remain in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, praying and contemplating the mysteries of the Holy Rosary.

Next week, on Saturday, August 3, at 7.30 AM, another devotion will take place. We invite all parishioners to our church not only to participate in this event. Let it be an expression of our great love for Our Lady, but also a desire to compensate for all the evil that hurts the heart of Our Beloved Mother and her Son, our Savior. Ave Maria!

Nabożeństwo Pierwszych Sobót Miesiąca

Siedem lat po zakończeniu fatimskich objawień Najświętsza Maryja Panna zezwoliła siostrze Łucji na ujawnienie treści drugiej części tajemnicy fatimskiej. Jej przedmiotem było nabożeństwo do Niepokalanego Serca Maryi. Tego samego dnia, a było to 10 grudnia 1925 r., Matka Boża wskazała na jedną z zasadniczych części kultu Jej Niepokalanego Serca: na nabożeństwo pierwszych sobót miesiąca.

W tym to właśnie dniu, gdy Łucja przebywała w Pontevedra, objawiła się jej Najświętsza Panna, a u Jej boku w jasności Dzieciątko Jezus. Maryja położyła Łucji rękę na ramieniu i pokazała Swoje Serce otoczone cierniami. Dzieciątko Jezus powiedziało:

Miej litość nad Sercem twej Najświętszej Matki, otoczonym cierniami, którymi niewdzięczni ludzie ranią Je wciąż na nowo, a nie ma nikogo, kto by przez akt wynagrodzenia te ciernie powyciągał.

Potem Maryja powiedziała: Córko moja, spójrz, Serce Moje

otoczone cierniami, którymi niewdzięczni ludzie przez bluźnierstwa i lekceważenie stale Je ranią. Przynajmniej ty staraj się mnie pocieszyć i przekaż wszystkim, że obiecuję przyjść na pomoc w godzinę śmierci z wszystkimi laskami potrzebnymi do zbawienia tym, którzy przez 5 kolejnych miesięcy w pierwsze soboty odprawią spowiedź, przyjmą Komunię św., odmówią różaniec i przez 15 minut towarzyszyć Mi będą, rozmyślając o 15 tajemnicach różańca w intencji zadośćuczynienia.

Już od jakiegoś czasu w naszej parafii wiele osób podkreślało potrzebę wznowienia tych wyjątkowych nabożeństw. Tak też się stało i od czerwca tego roku, w każdą pierwszą sobotę miesiąca, gromadzimy wspólnie się na Mszy św. o godz. 7.30 AM by wynagradzać wszelkie bluźnierstwa i lekceważenia, które ranią boleśnie Niepokalane Serce Maryi. By dopełnić warunków pierwszych sobót, z sercem pełnym łaski uświęcające, przyjmujemy Komunię św. Po Mszy św. trwamy na adoracji Najświętszego Sakramentu, modląc się i rozważając tajemnice różańca świętego.

Już w przyszłym tygodniu w sobotę, 3 sierpnia, o godz. 7.30 AM, odbędzie się kolejne już nabożeństwo pierwszej soboty. W związku z tym zapraszamy do naszego kościoła wszystkich parafian i nie tylko do udziału w tym nabożeństwie. Niech będzie to wyraz naszej wielkiej miłości do Matki Bożej, ale też pragnienie zadośćuczynienia za wszelkie zło, które rani serce Naszej Ukochanej Matki oraz jej Syna, a naszego Zbawiciela. Ave Maryja!

Pierwszy czwartek, Piątek i Sobota W tym tygodniu przypada pierwszy czwartek,

pierwszy piątek i pierwsza sobota miesiąca.

W pierwszy czwartek modlimy się o nowe powołania

do kapłaństwa i o świętość życia kapłanów.

Z kolei w pierwszy piątek po Mszy św. o godz. 7.30 AM

rozpoczniemy całodniową adorację Najświętszego

Sakramentu. W tym dniu oprócz Mszy św. o godz.

7:30 AM w języku angielskim, odprawiona zostanie też

Msza św. po polsku o godz. 7:00 PM. Spowiedź

pierwszo-piątkowa od godz. 6:00 PM.

Już od czerwca, w pierwszą sobotę miesiąca,

odprawiamy nabożeństwa pierwszych sobót. Kolejne

odbędzie się w tą sobotę (3 lipca), o godz. 7.30 AM.

Serdecznie zapraszamy do udziału.

On the first Thursday we pray for new vocations to the

priesthood and for the holiness of the life of priests.

On the first Friday after the Mass at 7.30 AM we will

begin a full-day adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

On that day, in addition to the Mass at 7:30 AM in

English, there will be a Mass in Polish at 7:00 PM. First

-Friday Confession from 6:00 PM.

Since June, on the first Saturday of the month, we

have been holding devotions on the first Saturday of

the month. The next one will take place this Saturday

(the 3rd of July), at 7.30 AM. We cordially invite you to
