SURAH YUNUS

ِحيِم ِن الرَّ ْحَمٰ ِ الرَّ ِبْسِم ا/َّ

1 the َحِكيِم

ِْكَتـِٰب of the Bookٱل

َْك Theseَءاَيـُٰت are the versesٱل

ْر Alif Lam Raۚ.ِتل

ٓال

.wise

2

We ْٓوَحْيَنا

َْن thatأ

َاِس for the mankindَعَجًباa wonderأ اَن Is itِللنَّ

َك

َأ

the اَس نِذرِ "Warnٱلنََّْن that,أ

َْنُهْم from among themأ ٰ toَرُجٍل a manمِّ

َUِإrevealed

to those ِذيَنَِّ and give glad tidingsٱل ِّWXَوَبmankind

will be a respectable َدمَ ِصْدٍق ُهْم for themقَ نَّ thatلََ believeأ

ْwhoَءاَمُنٓوا

the ـِٰفُروَنَك

ْالَ Saidٱل

َtheir Lord?"ق ِهْم ۗ positionِعنَد nearَربِّ

".obvious ٌc deِب ِحٌر is surely a magicianمُّ َسـَٰاthisل

َذ disbelievers,ِإنَّ "Indeed,َهـٰ

the Oneِذىَُّ is Allahٱل ُم your Lordٱ/َّ

ُك ِإنَّ Indeed,َربَّ

and the ْرَضَ َْمـَٰوٲِت the heavensَوٱأل َق createdٱلسَّ

َWhoَخل

theۖ َعْرِشْ onٱل

َrَعHe established ٰٱْسَتَوىthen َّم

ُاٍم periods,ث يَّ

َةِ sixأ ِ inِستَّ

cvearth is any ِمن َشِفيٍعNotَما.the affairs ْمَر ۖ

َ ُْر disposingٱأل Throne,ُيَدبِّ

is ُ ُم Thatٱ/َُّٲِلك

َِنِهۦ His permissionۚ.ذ

ْ exceptِمۢن َبْعِد afterِإذ

َّintercessorِإال

you ُروَنَّك

َذ

َ Then will notت

َال

َفَso worship Him.أ ٱْعُبُدوُه ۚ

َْم your Lord,ف

ُك Allah,َربُّ

?remember


SURAH YUNUS

4

of ِ ْم will be your returnَجِميًعا allۖ.َوْعَد Promiseٱ/َُّْيهِ To Him,َمْرِجُعك

َِإل

the َقَْخل

ْ originatesٱل

ْاُ

ُهۥIndeed, Heَيْبَدؤَّا is trueۚ.ِإن

Allahَحق

that He may َِلَيْجِزى,He repeats itُيِعيُدُهۥthen َّمُcreation,ث

the good ِلَحـِٰت ـٰ and didٱلصَّْوا

ُ believedَوَعِمل

ِْذيَن those whoَءاَمُنوا

َّrewardٱل

for ُهْمَ disbelieved,ل

ُْروا

َف

َِذيَن But those whoك

َِّقْسِط in justiceۚ.َوٱل

ْdeeds,ِبٱل

and a اٌبَ

ْن ofَحِميٍم boiling fluidsَوَعذ اٌب will be a drinkمِّ َ َWthem.disbelieve ُروَن

ُف

ْ they used toَيك

ْوا

ُان

َ painful,ِبَماbecauseك

ِۢليُم

َpunishmentأ

5

a shining ًءْٓمَس the sunِضَيا ِذىis the One Whoَجَعلَ madeٱلشَّ

َُّهَو Heٱل

and determined forَرُهۥ دََّوًراa reflected lightَوق

َُمَر and the moonن

َق

ْlight,َوٱل

of the َc deِن that you may knowَعَددَ the numberٱلسُِّْموا

َitَمَناِزلَ phases,ِلَتْعل

and the count ofۚ ِحَساَبْyearsَوٱل

He ُل صََِّحقِّ in truthۚ.ُيف

ْ exceptِبٱل

َّٲِلَك thatِإال

َُ Allahذ َق createdٱ/َّ

َtime.َماNotَخل

.who know ُموَنَْوٍم for a peopleَيْعل

ََيـِٰت the Signsِلق

َ ْexplainsٱأل

6

and the َِهار ْيِل of the nightَوٱلنََِّّف the alternationٱل ـٰ

َِ inٱْخِتل

cv,Indeed َِّإن the َمـَٰوٲِت ِ inٱلسَّ

cvAllah has created ُ َق ٱ/َّ dayَوَماand whatَخلَ who وَن

ُق ْوٍم for a peopleَيتَّ

َق

َِّيـٍٰت are Signsل

َ َْرِض and the earthأل

َ ْheavens,َوٱأل

.are God conscious

7

the meeting withاََءن

ٓاَ do notَيْرُجوَن expectِلق

َِذيَن those whoال

َِّإنَّ Indeed,ٱل

of theَياْن َحَيوٲةِ with the lifeٱلدُّ

ْ and are pleasedِبٱل

ْUsَوَرُضوا

are َعْنthey ُهْم- and those ِذيَنَّ and feel satisfiedِبَهاwith itَوٱل

ْوا

ُّنَworld,َوٱْطَمأ

.heedless وَنُِفل ـٰ

َِتَناOur Signs,غ ofَءاَيـٰ

8 they

ْوا

ُان

َاُر will be the Fire,ِبَماfor whatك َوُٰهُم their abodeٱلنَّ

ِْئَك Those -َمأ

ـَْٰٓول

ُأ

.earn ِسُبوَنْused toَيك


SURAH YUNUS

9

good ِلَحـِٰت ـٰ and didٱلصَّْوا

ُ believedَوَعِمل

ِْذيَن those whoَءاَمُنوا


by their ِنِهْم ۖ ُهمtheir Lord,ِبِإيَمـٰ deeds,َيْهِديِهْم will guide themَربُّ the ُر َهـٰ

ْنَ ْْحِتِهُم underneath themٱأل

َْجِرىWill flowِمنfromت

َfaith.ت

.of Delight ِعيِم ـِٰت Gardensٱلنَّ ِ inَجنَّcv,rivers

10

O َُّهمََّنَك will be, "Glory be to You,ٱلل َدْعَوُٰهْم Their prayerِفيَهاthereinُسْبَحـٰ

therein willِفيَهاAnd their greeting ُتُهْم ِحيََّAllah!"َوت

will be ِنَ"Peace."َوَءاِخُر And the lastَدْعَوُٰهْم of their callأ ٌم ۚ ـٰ

َbe,َسل

".of the worlds َc deِمَل َعـٰ

ِْ to Allah,َربِّ Lordٱل َّ/ِAll the Praise be" َحْمُد

ْthatٱل

11

the َّ َّWXٱلfor the mankind اِس ُ Allah was to hastenِللنَّ لُ ٱ/َّ ْو And ifُيَعجِّ َولَ ,surely َ ِc

ُق

َِ the good,ل ْdَخ

ُْهمas He hastens for themِبٱل

َevil,ٱْسِتْعَجال

But We ُرَ

َنذَtheir term.ف ُهْم ۖ

َُجل

َْيِهْم for themأ

َwould have been decreedِإل

the meeting withاََءن

ٓاَ do notَيْرُجوَن expectِلق


َّleaveٱل

.wandering blindly َيْعَمُهوَن,their transgression ِنِهْم ِ inُطْغَيـٰcv,Us

12

he callsاَُّ the afflictionَدَعان ُّcٱلthe man نَسـَٰن ِ

ْاAnd whenَمسَّ touchesٱإل

ََوِإذ

Butا مََّلَِئًماstanding.ف

ٓاَْو orق

َاِعًداsittingأ

َْو orق

َۦٓ lying on his sideأ Us,ِلَجۢنِبِه

he passes ََّمرhis afflictionُهۥ َّ ُcfrom him َُعْنهWe removeَناَْشف

َwhenك

thatۚ ُهۥ سَّ ٍّ the afflictionمَّ ُcfor َٰ

Uِإcalled Us ْٓم had notَيْدُعَنا

َّنas if heل

َأَonك

to the َc deِِفXُْمَْن it is made fair seemingِلل ٲِلَك Thusُزيِّ

َذ

َtouched him.ك

.do وَنُ they used toَيْعَمل

ْوا

ُان

َextravagantَماwhatك


SURAH YUNUS

13

before ْمُْبِلك

َُروَن the generationsِمن ق قُ َناWe destroyedٱلْ كْ ْهلَ

َْد And verilyأ

َق

ََول

theirُهمُُهْم and came to themُرُسل

َْءت

ٓthey wronged,َوَجا ۙ

ُْموا

َل

َاwhenظ مَّ

َyouل

toۚ ِْمُنوا

ْ they wereِلُيؤ

ْوا

ُان

ََنـِٰت with clear proofs,َوَماbut notك َبيِّ

ْMessengersِبٱل

who are َc deُمْجِرِمْْومَ the peopleٱل

َق

ْْجِزىWe recompenseٱل

َٲِلَك Thusن

َذ

َbelieve.ك

.criminals

14ْرِض the earthِمۢن

َ ِْ inٱأل

cvsuccessors ِئَفـَْٰٓم We made youَخل

َُنـٰك

ْمَّ Thenَجَعل

ُث

.you do وَنُْعَمل

َْيَف howت

ََر so that We may seeك

َُبْعِدِهْم after themِلَننظ

15

as clearۙ َنـٍٰت َناOur Versesَبيُِّْيِهْم to themَءاَيات

َٰ are recitedَعل

َrْت

ُاAnd whenت

ََوِإذ

for the meetingاََءن

ٓاَ do notَيْرُجوَن hopeِلق


َّالَ saidٱل

َproofsق

change هُ ْۚل ْو orَبدِّ

َ thisأ

ٓاَ

ذ ِ other thanَهـٰ ْdَْرَءاٍن a Quranغ

ُِت "Bring usِبق

ْwith Us,ٱئ

ى¥ ٓاَق

ُْهۥI change itِمنofِتل

َل َبدِّ

ُْن thatأ

َوُن for me ٓUِit isأ

ُلْ Say,َما"Notَيك

ُit."ق

is ٰٓ¦َُيوwhatَماexcept َّ

ِبعُ I followِإالَّتَmy own accord.ِإْن Notأ ۖ ٓ§ِ

ْف

َن

I were to َعَصْيُتif ِإْنI fear َخاُفَٓ Indeed, Iأ

ِّc©ِإ.to me ۖ ََّ

Uِإrevealed".of a Great Day َيْوٍم َعِظيٍمthe punishment اَب ِّ my Lord,َعذَ ª©َرdisobey

16

I would have recitedُهۥُْوت

َلَُ Allah had willed,َماnotت ءَ ٱ/َّ ْو "Ifَشآ لSay,لَّ قُ

He would have made it known toۖ م ِبِهۦ ْدَرٰكَُ and notأ

ٓ َْم to you,َوال

ُْيك

َitَعل

ن ْم among youُعُمًراa lifetimeمِّ ُت I have stayedِفيكُ ِبثْ ْد Verily,لَ قَ you.فَ"?you use reason وَن

ُْعِقل

َ Then will notت

َال

َفَۦٓ before itۚ.أ ْبِلِه

َق

17

than he ِن ُم is more wrongِممََّل

ْظ

ََمْن So whoأ

َف

Hisۚ ٓۦ ِتِه ـاَيـٰ َب deniesِبـ¬َّ

ذَْو orك

َِذًباa lieأ

َِ Allahك againstٱ/َّ

َrَعinvents ٰى َ َ

ْwhoٱف

.the criminals ُمْجِرُموَنِْلُح will succeedٱل

ْ notُيف

َُهۥIndeed,ال

َّSigns?ِإن


SURAH YUNUS

18

does َ

ِ other than Allahَماthat whichال َوَيْعُبُدوَن And they worshipِمن ُدوِن ٱ/َّ and they وَن

ُول

ُُعُهْم benefit them,َوَيق

َ and notَينف

َُهْم harm themَوال ُّ ُcَيnot

are ourاَنُ

ؤَعـٰٓ

َءِ "Theseُشف

ٓ َال

ُؤ

say,َهـٰٓ ofِبَماAllah َ ــ¯وَن "Do you informٱ/َّ َنبِّ

ُتَلْ Say,أ

ُِ Allahۚ."ق intercessorsِعنَد withٱ/َّ

and َ

َمـَٰوٲِت the heavensَوال ِ inٱلسَّcvHe does not know ُم

َ َيْعل

َwhatال

and َٰ

rَٰعـََنُهۥGlorified is Heَوت ْرِض the earthۚ?"ُسْبَحـٰ

َ ِْ inٱأل

cvnot.they associate with Him وَن

ُِك ْWXُيabove whatا Exaltedَعمَّ

19

one ًةً َوٲِحَدة مَّ

ُ butأ

ٓ َّاُس the mankindِإال اَن wasٱلنَّ

ََوَماAnd notك

a ٌِلَمة

َ And had it not beenك

َْوال

َthen they differed.َول ۚ

ْوا

ُف

َٱْخَتل

َcommunity,ف

surely, it would َ ِcُق

ََك your Lord,ل بِّ ْت that precededِمنfromرَّ

َwordَسَبق

concerningِفيَماbetween them َبْيَنُهْمhave been judged.they differ وَن

ُwhatِفيهِ thereinَيْخَتِلف

20

a ٌْيهِ to himَءاَية

َنِزلَ is sent downَعل

ُ "Why notأ

ٓ َْوال

َوَن And they say,ل

ُول

َُوَيق

is for ِ َّ/ِthe unseen َغْيُبَْما"Onlyٱل

َّلْ So say,ِإن

ُق

َِهۦ his Lordۖ?"ف بِّ نfromرَّ Signمِّ

the ُمنَتِظِريَنَْن amongٱل مwith youمِّ

ُ indeed, I amَمَعك

ِّc©ِإ;so wait ْٱنَتِظُرٓوا

َAllah,ف

".ones who wait

21

ۢن اَس We let the mankind tasteَرْحَمةً mercyمِّ َنا ٱلنَّ قْ ذََ And whenأ

ٓاََوِإذ

Theyُهمَاbehold!ل

َْتُهْم has touched them,ِإذ ءَ adversityَمسَّ

ٓا َّ َcafter َبْعِد

is more ُع َْ

َُ "Allahأ ِل Say,ٱ/َّ

ُOur Verses.ق ٓ againstَءاَياِتَنا ۚ ِ

cva plot ٌرْك haveمَّ

write ُتُبوَنَْناOur Messengersَيك

َin planning."ِإنَّ Indeed,ُرُسل ًرا ۚ

ْswiftَمك

.you plot ُروَنُْمك

َdownَماwhatت


SURAH YUNUS

22

the ِّ َªِْ inٱل

cvenables you to travel ْمُُك ِّdُيَسis the One Whoِذى

َُّهَو Heٱل

the ِكْلُف

ِْ inٱل

cvyou are نُتْمُاwhenك

َٰٓ until,ِإذ َبْحرِ and the seaۖ,َح±َّ

ْlandَوٱل

with a ِبِريٍحwith themِبِهمand they sail َوَجَرْيَنships a ِريٌحcomes to itَها

َْءت

ٓ and they rejoiceِبَهاthereinَجا

ِْرُحوا

ََبةٍ good,َوف windَطيِّ

the َمْوُجَْءُهُم and comes to themٱل

ٓwindَعاِصٌف stormy,َوَجا

that ُهْمَّنَ and they assumeأ

ْٓوا نُّ

َاٍن place,َوظ

َلِّ everyَمك

ُwavesِمنfromك

They ْwith them.َدَعُوا ِحيَط are surroundedِبِهْم ۙ

ُtheyأ

,saying ْc ِ³eَيَن in the religion,ل هُ to Himٱلدِّ

َsincerely َcل deُمْخِلِصAllah َ

callٱ/َّ surely we will َّن

َون

َُنك

َِذِهۦthis,ل نَجْيَتَناYou save usِمْن fromَهـٰ

َ"Ifأ

".the thankful ـِٰكِريَن beِمَن amongٱلشَّ

23

He saved ُهْم نَجـَٰ But whenأ

ٓا مَّ

َلَف

theۗ َِّحقِْ withoutٱل ْdِبَغthe earth ْرِض

َ ِْ inٱأل

cvrebel َيْبُغوَنThey ُهْم!beholdاَthem,ِإذ

is َٰٓ

rَعyour rebellion ْمَُماOnlyَبْغُيك

َّاُس O mankind!ِإن َها ٱلنَّ يُّ

َأright.َيـٰٓ

of theۖ َياْن َحَيوٲةِ of the lifeٱلدُّ

ْعَ the enjoymentٱل َتـٰ yourselves,مَّ م ۖ

ُِسك

ُنف

َagainstأ

and We will informمُُئك ُنَنبِّ

َْم is your returnف

ُْيَناto Usَمْرِجُعك

َمَّ Thenِإل

ُworld.ث

.do وَنُْعَمل

َنُتْم you used toت

ُyouِبَماof whatك


SURAH YUNUS

24

is like the ٍءَٓما

ََياof the worldك

ْن َحَيوٲةِ of the lifeٱلدُّ

ْلُ the exampleٱل

ََماOnlyَمث

َِّإن

so َطَٱْخَتل

َءِ the sky,ف

َٓما هُ which We sent downِمَن fromٱلسَّ َنـٰ

ْنَزل

َwaterأ

fromا ْرِض of the earthِممََّ َْباُت the plantsٱأل

َabsorbsِبِهۦwith it,ن

and the ُم َعـْٰنَ ْاُس the menَوٱأل لُ eatٱلنَّ

ُك

ْwhichَيأ

itsَهاَْرُض the earthُزْخُرف

َ ِْت takesٱأل

ََخذ

َ whenأ

ٓآَٰ untilِإذ cattle,َح±َّ

that ُهْمَّنَ its peopleأ

َٓها

ُْهل

َنَّ and thinkأ

ََنْت and is beautifiedَوظ يَّ adornmentَوٱزَّ

Ourاَْمُرن

َ comes to itأ

َٓها ـٰ

َتَ over it,أ

ْٓيَها

َِدُروَن have the powerَعل ـٰ

َtheyق

aَحِصيًداand We make itَها َنـَْٰجَعل

ََهاًراby day,ف

َْو orن

َ by nightأ

ًْيال

َcommandل

it had ْغَنَْم notت

َّنas ifل

َأَharvest clean-mown,ك

the َيـِٰتَ ْلُ We explainٱأل صِّ

َف

ُٲِلَك Thusن

َذ

َyesterday.ك ْمِس ۚ

َ ْflourishedِبٱأل

.who reflect ُروَنَّك

َْوٍم for a peopleَيَتف

َSignsِلق

25 andَوَيْهِدى,of the Peace ِم ـٰ

َل ٰ toَدارِ the Homeٱلسَّ

َUِإcalls

ُْ And Allahَيْدُعٓوا َوٱ/َّ

.the straight path ْسَتِقيٍم ٲٍط مُّ َِto ٰ َUِإHe wills ُء guidesَمنwhomَيَشآ

26

andۖ ٌٰ is the bestَوِزَياَدة َc±ُحْس

ْ do goodٱل

ْْحَسُنوا

َِذيَن For those whoأ

َّلِّ ل

and َ

ٌ dustَوال ََ And notَيْرَهُق will coverُوُجوَهُهْم their facesق

َmore.َوال

of ةِ ۖ َجنَّْْصَحـُٰب are the companionsٱل

َِئَك Thoseأ

ـَْٰٓول

ُhumiliation.أ ۚ

ٌة

َّnotِذل

.will abide forever ِلُدوَن Paradise,ُهْم theyِفيَهاin itَخـٰ

27

the ُءٓـاِت the evil deeds,َجَزا ـ¬ يِّ earnedٱلسَّ

َْسُبوا

َِذيَن And those whoك

ََّوٱل

and will cover ُهْمُْرَهق

َِلَهاis like it,َوت

ْof an evil deedِبِمث َئةِۭ recompenseَسيِّ

They will notُهمَا ل humiliation.مَّ ةٌ ۖ themِذلَّ

had been ِشَيْتْغ

ُ As ifأ

َٓما

َّنَأَdefender.ك ِ Allahِمْن anyَعاِصٍم ۖ َن fromٱ/َّ haveمِّ

the darkness ِلًما ْۚ

ْيِل ُمظ َن fromٱلَّ coveredُوُجوُهُهْم their facesِقَطًعاwith piecesمِّ of theۖ ِار ْصَحـُٰب are the companionsٱلنَّ

َِئَك Thoseأ

ـَْٰٓول

ُof night.أ

.will abide forever ِلُدوَن Fire,ُهْم theyِفيَهاin itَخـٰ


SURAH YUNUS

28

allَجِميًعاWe will gather them ُهْم ُ ُWXْحََوَيْومَ And the Dayن

associate ْوا

َُك ْW

َِذيَن to those whoأ

َّولُ We will sayِلل

ُق

َمَّ thenن

ُtogether,ث

andۚ ْمُك

ُؤ

ٓاََك ُWَوyou نُتْم

َْم "Remain in your placeأ

ُك

َان

َpartners with Allah,َمك

and َالََناThen We will separateَبْيَنُهْم between themۖ,َوق

ْل َزيَّ

َyour partners."ف

worship ْعُبُدوَنَا ت انَ نُتْم you used toِإيَّ ا"Notكُ ُهمtheir partners,مَّ ؤُ آ َكَ ُWwill say

".us

29

and ْمُاas a witnessَبْيَنَناbetween usَوَبْيَنك

ِۢ is Allahَشِهيَد ٰ So sufficientِبٱ/َّ َc·

َك

َف

certainly َc deَغـِٰفِلَْم your worshipل

ُاwe wereَعْن ofِعَباَدِتك نَّ

ُbetween youِإنthatك

.unaware

30

it ْت َۚف

َْسل

َ for whatأ

ٓا ٍس soulمَّ

ْف

َلُّ everyن

ُ will be put to trialك

ْوا

ُْبل

َُهَناِلَك Thereت

their ُهُم ـَِٰ Allahَمْول toٱ/َّ

َUِإand they will be returned

ْٓوا did previously,َوُردُّ

they ْوا

ُان

َاwhatك َحقِّ the trueۖ,َوَضلَّ and will be lostَعْنُهمfrom themمَّ

ْLordٱل

.invent وَن ُ َْused toَيف

31

and ْرِضَ ْءِ the skyَوٱأل

َٓما َن fromٱلسَّ مprovides for youمِّ

ُك

ُلْ Say,َمن"Whoَيْرُزق

ُق

and the َر ْبَصـَٰ ْْمعَ the hearingَوٱأل نOr whoَيْمِلُك controlsٱلسَّ مَّ

َthe earth?أ

the ِت َميَِّّْ the livingِمَن fromٱل َ̧

ْsight?َوَمنAnd whoُيْخِرُج brings outٱل

the ِّ ََْ̧ت the deadِمَن fromٱل َميِّ

ْdead,َوُيْخِرُج and brings forthٱل

Then they وَنُول

َُسَيق

َthe affairs?"ف ْمَر ۚ

َ ُْر disposesٱأل living?َوَمنAnd whoُيَدبِّ

"?you fear Him وَنُق تَّ

َ "Then will notت

َال

َفَلْ Then say,أ

ُق

َ"Allah."ف ۚ ُ will say,ٱ/َّ

32

So what canاََماذ

ََحقُّ the trueۖ.ف

ُْم your Lord,ٱل

ُك ُ is Allah,َربُّ ُم For thatٱ/َّ

ُٲِلك

َذ

َف

are وَنُف َْ

ُٰ So howت

َّc©َأَلُ the errorۖ?ف ـٰ

َل exceptٱلضَّ

ََّحقِّ the truthِإال

ْbeَبْعَد afterٱل

.you turned away


SURAH YUNUS

33

of your َك ِلَمُت the Wordَربَِّْت is proved trueك

َّٲِلَك Thusَحق

َذ

َك

that ُهْمَّنَ defiantly disobeyed,أ

ْٓوا

َُسق

َِذيَن those whoف

َّ uponٱل

َrَعLord

.believe ِمُنوَنْ

will notُيؤَ

theyال

anyن مyour partnersمَُِّئك

ٓاََك ُWofِمنIs there" َْهل,Say ْل

ُق

repeats مَّ thenُيِعيُدُهۥ َُۚق the creationث

َْخل

ْ originatesٱل

ْاُ

whoَيْبَدؤ the َق

َْخل

ْ originatesٱل

ْاُ

ُ "Allahَيْبَدؤ ِل Say,ٱ/َُّit?"ق

"?you are deluded وَنُك

َف

َّc©َأَمَّ thenُيِعيُدُهۥ repeats itۖ.ف

ُcreationث

35

anyن مyour partnersمَُِّئك

ٓاََك ُWofِمنIs there" َْهل,Say ْل

ُق

toۗ َِّحقُْ "Allahَيْهِدىguidesِلل ِل Say,ٱ/َّ

َُحقِّ the truthۚ?"ق

ْ toٱل

َUِإguides َٓيْهِدىwho

more َُّحقََحقِّ the truthأ

ْ toٱل

َUِإguides َٓيْهِدىIs then he whoَمن

َفَthe truth.أ

does َّ

نor he whoال مَََّبعَ he should be followedأ نthatُيتَّ

َworthyأ

is for ْمُك

ََماThen whatل

َنthatُيْهَدىٰ he is guidedۖ?ف

َ unlessأ

ٓ َّىٓ guideِإال notَيِهدِّ

"?you judge ُموَنُْحك

َْيَف howت

َyou,ك

36

most of ُهْم َُºْك

َِبعُ followأ َوَماAnd notَيتَّ

does َ

نَّ the assumptionالَّ

assumption.ِإنَّ Indeed,ٱلظ ا ۚ نَ

exceptظَّ

themِإال the َِّحق

ْnotُيْغ±avail ِcِمَن againstٱل

ofِبَماis All-Knower ۢ

َ Allahَعِليُم anything.ِإنَّ Indeed,ٱ/َّ ا ۚ truthَشْيــ«.they do وَن

َُعل

ْwhatَيف

37

it could be ٰى َ َْنthatُيف

َْرَءاُن the Quran,أ

ُق

ْاthisٱل

َذ اَن isَهـٰ


it is a ْصِديَقَـِٰكنbutت

َِ other than Allah,َول producedِمنbyُدوِن ٱ/َّ

and a َِصيلْف

َcَ َيَدْيهِ was before itَوت ْdeَبof that whichِذى

َّconfirmationٱل

in ِِفيهdoubt َرْيَبthere is no َ

ِكَتـِٰب of the Book,الْdetailed explanationٱل

.of the worlds َc deِمَل َعـٰ

ْبِّ the Lordٱل it,ِمنfromرَّ


SURAH YUNUS

38

Then" ْوا

ُتْأَلْ Say,ف

ُ"He has invented it?"ق ٰهُ ۖ َ َ

ْوَن do they say,ٱف

ُول

ُمْ Orَيق

َأ

ن ِلِهۦlike itَوٱْدُعواْ and callَمِن whoeverٱْسَتَطْعُتمyou canمِّ ثْ bringِبُسوَرةٍ a Surahمِّ".truthful َc deِدِق نُتْم you areَصـٰ

ُِ besides Allah,ِإنifك ُدوِن ٱ/َّ

39

they could ْْم notُيِحيُطوا

َ they deniedِبَماwhatل

ُْبوا

َّذ

ََبلْ Nay,ك

has come to ِتِهْمْاand notَيأ مَّ

َِمِهۦof its knowledgeَول

ْencompassِبِعل

ِذيَن thoseِمن َب deniedٱلَّ ذَّ ٲِلَك Thusكَ ذَ ُهۥ its interpretationۚ.كَ ِويلُْأَthemت

of َc deِلِم ـَّٰ

the endٱلظُِقَبة اَن wasَعـٰ

َْيَف howك

َْر then seeك

ُٱنظ

َْبِلِهْم before themۖ,ف

َق

.the wrongdoers

40

and ofَوِمْنُهم,in itِبِهۦbelieves ِمُنْ

نis one whoُيؤ َوِمْنُهمAnd of themمَّ And your َك in it.َوَربُّ ِمُن believeِبِهۦ ۚ

ْ does notُيؤ

َّنis one whoال themمَّ

.of the corrupters ِسِديَنُْمف

ُْم is All-Knowerِبٱل

َْعل

َLordأ

41

are my rَِعَمFor me" ِّ

U,then sayلُق

َُبوَك they deny youف

َّذ

ََوِإنAnd ifك

are َبِرٓيــ¯وَنYouنُتمَare your deeds.أ ْم ۖ

ُك

ُْم and for youَعَمل

ُك

َdeeds,َول

and I ۟اَنَْعَملُ I do,َوأ

َ from whatأ

ٓا disassociatedِممَّ

".you do وَنُْعَمل

َاfrom whatت مَّ amَبِرٓىءٌ disassociatedمِّ

42

toۚ ْيَكَنare some whoَيْسَتِمُعوَن listenِإل َوِمْنُهمAnd among themمَّ

even ْوَمَّ cause the deaf to hearَول ْسِمعُ ٱلصُّ نَت But can youتُ

َأَفَyou.أ

?use reason وَنُ do notَيْعِقل

َ they wereال

ْوا

ُان

َthoughك

43

But can نَتَأَفَْيَك at youۚ.أ

َُر lookِإل

ُنare some whoَينظ َوِمْنُهمAnd among themمَّ

do َ

they wereالْوا

ُان

َْو even thoughك

َُعْ¾َ the blindَول

ْْهِدىguideٱل

َyouت

?see وَن notُيْبُِ

44 inا اَس the peopleَشْيــ« ِلُم wrongٱلنَّ

ْ does notَيظ

ََ Allahال ِإنَّ Indeed,ٱ/َّ

.wrong themselves ِلُموَنْ

َسُهْم َيظ نفَُاَس the peopleأ ـِٰكنَّ butٱلنَّ

َanything,َول


SURAH YUNUS

45

they had ْٓوا

َُبث

ْْم َيل نas ifلَّ

َأَُهْم He will gather them,ك ُ ُWXَيْحAnd the Day ََوَيْوم

they will وَنَُهارِ the day,َيَتَعاَرف َن ofٱلنَّ an hourمِّ

ً exceptَساَعة

َّnot remainedِإال

will have َXَِخ,Certainly ْدَrecognize each otherَبْيَنُهْم between themۚ.ق

andَوَما,with Allah ِ ءِ the meetingٱ/َّٓاَ deniedِبِلق

ُْبوا

َّذ

َِذيَن those whoك

َّlostٱل

.the guided ones ُمْهَتِديَنthey were ْوا

ُان

َnotك

46

We ِعُدُهْمَِذىof that whichن

ََّك We show youَبْعَض someٱل ِرَينَّ

ُاAnd whetherن َوِإمَّ

is َمْرِجُعُهْمthen to Usْيَناَِإل

ََك We cause you to die,ف َينَّ

ََّتَوف

َْو orن

َpromised themأ

they وَنَُعل

ْٰ overَماwhatَيف

َrَعis a Witness َشِهيٌدAllah ُ مَّ thenٱ/َّ

ُtheir return,ث

.do

47

Soاَِإذ

َُسولٌ is a Messengerۖ.ف ةٍ nationرَّ مَّ

ُلِّ And for everyأ

َُوِلك

it will be َ ِcُُهْم their Messenger,ق

ُءَ comesَرُسول

ٓwhenَجا

will َ

ِقْسِط in justice,َوُهْم and theyالْjudgedَبْيَنُهمbetween themِبٱل

.be wronged ُموَنَل

ْnotُيظ

48 the promise be َوْعُد

ْاwill this,ٱل

َذ ٰ "Whenَهـٰ وَن And they say,َم±َ

ُول

َُوَيق

"?truthful َc deِدِق نُتْم you areَصـُٰfulfilled,ِإنifك

49

and َ

اfor any harmَوال َcfor myself §ِْْمِلُك I have powerِلَنف

َ "Notأ

ٓ َّلSay,ال

ُق

For ِّلُAllah wills.ِلك ۗ ُ ءَ ٱ/َّ exceptَماwhatَشآ

ًَّعاfor any profitِإال

ْف

َnotن

then َ

الَُهْم their term,ف

َُجل

َءَ comesأ

ٓاWhenَجا

َis a term.ِإذ َجلٌ ۚ

َةٍ nationأ مَّ

ُeveryأ

they ِدُموَنْ and notَيْسَتق

َ an hourۖ,َوال

ًِخُروَن they remain behindَساَعة Àَيْسَتــnot

".can precede it

50

Hisاُبُهۥَ

ْم comes to youَعذُـٰك

َتََرَءْيُتْم "Do you see,ِإْن ifأ

َلْ Say,أ

ُق

of it َُيْسَتْعِجلُ ِمْنهwhat portionا اذَ َهاًراby day,مَّ ْو orنًََتاby nightأ punishmentَبَيـٰ

"?the criminals ُمْجِرُموَنْwould wish to hastenٱل


SURAH YUNUS

51

in ۦٓ ۚ عَ it had occurredَءاَمنُتمyou will believeِبِهَا َماwhenَوق مَّ Is it thenِإذَ ثُ

َأ

seeking to وَنُْسَتْعِجل

َنُتمyou wereِبِهۦ ت ْد And certainlyكُ ـَٰن Now?َوقَ ـ¬ لْ it?َءآ

.hasten it

52

to those ِذيَنَّمَّ Thenِقيلَ it will be saidِلل

ُث

ِد the everlasting.َهلْ ُخلْ اَب punishmentٱلْ واْ "Tasteَعذَ وقُ ُمواْ wronged,ذُ لَ whoظَ you used نُتْم

ُ exceptِبَماfor whatك

َّْجَزْوَن Are you being recompensedِإال

ُت

"?earn ِسُبوَنْك

َtoت

53

Is it" َحقٌّ ُهوَ ََۖك And they ask you to informأ

َ َوَيْسَتۢنِبــ¯ون

is surely theۖ ٌَّحقَُهۥIndeed, itل

َّٓ by my Lord!ِإن ِّ ª©َوَر,Yes"ِإى,Say ْل

ُtrue?"ق

".can escape it ِبُمْعِجِزيَنyouنُتمَ and notأ

ٓtruth,َوَما

54

is ِcvwhateverَما,that wronged َمْت

َل

ٍَس soulظ

ْف

َلِّ for everyن

ُنَّ thatِلك

َْو And ifأ

ََول

and ْوا َُّ

َwith it,َوأ َتَدْت it would seek to ransomِبِهۦ ۗ

ْف Â

َÃ,the earth ْرِض

َ ْinٱأل

theۖ اَبَ

َعذْ they seeٱل

ُْوا

َاwhenَرأ مَّ

َ the regretل

ََداَمة they will confideٱلنَّ

in ِقْسِط َْۚ But will be judgedَبْيَنُهمbetween themِبٱل ِc

ُpunishment.َوق

.be wronged ُموَنَل

ْ will notُيظ

َjustice,َوُهْم and theyال

55

the َمـَٰوٲِت ِ is inٱلسَّcvis whateverَماfor Allah ِ َّ/ِ,indeed َِّإن,No doubt

ٓ َال

َأ

the Promise ِ ٓ No doubtِإنَّ indeed,َوْعَد ٱ/ََّ

الَand the earth.أ ْرِض ۗ

َ ْheavensَوٱأل

.know ُموَنَ do notَيْعل

َُهْم most of themال َ

َºْك

َـِٰكنَّ Butأ

َof Allahَحقٌّ is true.َول

56 you ْرَجُعوَن

ُْيهِ and to Himت

َۦgives lifeَوُيِميُت and causes death,َوِإل ِ

ْ̧ ُهَو Heُي.will be returned


SURAH YUNUS

57

an ٌة

َْوِعظ مhas come to youمَّ

ُك

َْءت

ْٓد Verilyَجا

َاُس O mankind!ق َها ٱلنَّ يُّ

َأَيـٰٓ

is ِcvfor whatَما

ِّءٌ and a healingل

ٓاَْم your Lord,َوِشف

ُك بِّ نfromرَّ instructionمِّ

for the َc deِمِنْ

ُمؤْلِّ and mercyل

ٌُدورِ your breasts,َوُهًدىand guidanceَوَرْحَمة inٱلصُّ

.believers

58

and in HisَوِبَرْحَمِتِهۦIn the Bounty of Allah" ِ ْضِل ٱ/َّ لْ Say,ِبفَ قُ thanا مَّ ٌ is betterمِّ ْdَخIt ُهَو".let them rejoice

َْرُحوا

َْيف

ْلَٲِلَك so in thatف

َِبذ

َMercyف

.they accumulate َيْجَمُعوَنwhat

59

forمُك

َُ Allah has sent downل نَزلَ ٱ/َّ

َ whatأ

ٓا َرَءْيُتم"Have you seenمَّ

َلْ Say,أ

ُق

of ُْنه ُتمand you have madeمَِّْجَعل

َْزٍق the provision,ف نofرِّ youمِّ

Has" ُ َّ/ٓلْ Say,َءا

ُ and lawful?"ق

ًـٰال

َitَحَراًماunlawfulَوَحل

you invent وَن ُ َْف

َِ Allahت againstٱ/َّ

َrَعor ْم

َْم to youۖ,أ

ُك

َِذَن permittedل

َAllahأ

"?lies

60

of those ِذيَنَّنُّ will be the assumptionٱل

ََوَماAnd whatظ

of َمةِ ۗ ِقَيـِْٰذَب the lieَيْومَ on the Dayٱل

َك

ِْ Allahٱل againstٱ/َّ

َrَعinvent وَن ُ َ

ْwhoَيف

is surely Full of ْضٍلَو ف ذُ َ Allahلَ the Judgment?ِإنَّ Indeed,ٱ/َّ

are َ

ُهْم most of themال ََºْك

َـِٰكنَّ butأ

َاِس the mankind,َول toٱلنَّ

َrَعBounty

.grateful ُروَنُnotَيْشك

61

you ْوا

ُْتل

ٍَن any situation,َوَماand notت

ِْ inَشأ

cvyou are وُنُك

ََوَماAnd notت

you وَنُْعَمل

َ and notت

َْرَءاٍن the Quranَوال

ُreciteِمْنهُ of itِمنfromق

over ْمُْيك

َاWe areَعل نَّ

ُ exceptك

َّdoِمْن anyَعَمٍل deedِإال

Andَوَما.in it ِفيُضوَن you are engagedِفيهِ ُۚ whenت

ْyouُشُهوًداwitnessesِإذ

of an ٍة رََّاِل the weightذ

َق

ْث َك your Lordِمنofمِّ بِّ notَيْعُزُب escapesَعنfromرَّ

and ٓ َءِ the heavensَوال

َٓما ِ inٱلسَّ

cvand not َ

ْرِض the earth,َوالَ ِْ inٱأل

cvatom a ِكَتـٍٰبis in ِ

cvbut َّ

َ greaterِإال َªْك

َ and notأ

ٓ َٲِلَك thatَوال

َْصَغَر smallerِمنthanذ

َnotأ

.clear ٍc deِبRecordمُّ


SURAH YUNUS

62 there will be

َِ the friends of Allahال ءَ ٱ/َّ ْوِلَيآ

َ No doubt!ِإنَّ Indeed,أ

ٓ َال

َأ

.will grieve وَنُ and notُهْم theyَيْحَزن

َْيِهْم upon thenَوال

َnoَخْوٌف fearَعل

63 ,conscious of Allah وَنُق and areَيتَّ

ْوا

ُان

َ believeَوك

ِْذيَن Those whoَءاَمُنوا

َّٱل

64

of theَياْن َحَيوٲةِ the lifeٱلدُّ

ِْ inٱل

cvare the glad tidings ٰى َ ْWXُبُْهُم For themٱل

َل

There can be no َْبِديلَ ت

َthe Hereafter.ال ِخَرةِ ۚ

َ ِْ and inٱأل

cvَوworld the ْوُز

َف

ْٲِلَك Thatُهَو isٱل

َِ in the Words of Allahۚ.ذ ِلَمـِٰت ٱ/َّ changeِلكَ

.the great َعِظيُمْsuccessٱل

65

the َة ِعزَّ

ْtheir speech.ِإنَّ Indeed,ٱل ُهْم ۘ

ُْول

َ And let notَيْحُزنَك grieve youق

ََوال

the َعِليُمِْميعُ is the All-Hearer,ٱل ِ belongs to Allahَجِميًعا allۚ.ُهَو Heٱلسَّ َّ/ِhonor

.All-Knower

66

the َمـَٰوٲِت ِ is inٱلسَّcvwhoeverَمنto Allah belongs ِ َّ/ِ,Indeed َِّإن!No doubt

ٓ َال

َأ

Andَوَما.the earthۗ ْرِضَ ِْ is inٱأل

cvand whoeverَوَمنheavens other than ِ ِذيَن those whoَيْدُعوَن invokeِمن ُدوِن ٱ/َّ ِبعُ followٱلَّ notَيتَّ

the َّنَّ

butٱلظَّ

ِبُعوَن they followِإال ءَ partnersۚ.ِإنNotَيتَّٓاََك ُWAllah

.guess َيْخُرُصوَنbut َّ

assumptionَوِإْن and notُهْم theyِإال

67

that ُْنوا

ُْيلَ the nightِلَتْسك

َُّم for youٱل

ُك

َِذىis the One Whoَجَعلَ madeل

َُّهَو Heٱل

giving ا ۚ َهاَر and the dayُمْبًِ you may restِفيهِ in itَوٱلنَّ for a ْوٍم

َق

َِّيـٍٰت surely are Signsل

َ َٲِلَك thatأل

َِ inذ

cv,Indeed َِّإن.visibility.who listen َيْسَمُعوَنpeople

68

Glory be to َنُهۥ ۖ a son."ُسْبَحـٰ ًدا َُۗ "Allah has takenَول َخذَ ٱ/َّ واْ They say,ٱتَّ الُ قَ

is ِcvwhateverَماTo Him belongsُهۥ

َُّ is the Self-sufficientۖ.ل ِc±َغ

ْHim!ُهَو Heٱل

theۚ ْرِضَ ِْ is inٱأل

cvand whateverَوَماthe heavens َمـَٰوٲِت inٱلسَّ Do وَن

ُول

ُق

َتَfor this.أ ۚ

ٓاَ

ذ ِنۭ authorityِبَهـَٰطـٰ

ْنanyُسل مyou haveمِّ

ُearth.ِإْن Notِعنَدك

?you know ُموَنَْعل

َ notت

َِ Allahَماwhatال aboutٱ/َّ

َrَعyou say


SURAH YUNUS

69

those ِذيَنَّلْ Say,ِإنَّ "Indeedٱل

ُق

they will not ِلُحوَنْ ُيف

َِذَب the lie,ال

َك

ِْ Allahٱل againstٱ/َّ

َrَعinvent وَن ُ َ

ْwhoَيف

".succeed

70

is their َمْرِجُعُهْمto Usْيَناَمَّ thenِإل

َُياthe world,ث

ْن ِ inٱلدُّ

cvAn enjoyment ٌع َمَتـٰ the اَب

ََعذ

ُْهُم We will make them tasteٱل

ُِذيق

ُمَّ thenن

ُreturn,ث

they used ْوا

ُان

َِديَد the severeِبَماbecauseك punishmentٱلشَّ

.disbelieve ُروَنُف

ْtoَيك

71

he َالَ whenق

ْوٍح of Nuhِإذ

ُ the newsن

ََبأ

َْيِهْم to themن

َلُ And reciteَعل

ْ َوٱت

onمُْيك

ََ hardَعل ُª

َاَن isك

َْوِم "O my people!ِإنIfك

َْوِمِهۦto his people,َيـٰق

َsaidِلق

the Signs of ِ ـاَيـِٰت ٱ/َّ ِىand my remindingِبـ¬ dِكْ

ذَاmy stay Æَِوت

َق youمَّ

So you all ْْجِمُعٓوا

َأَُت I put my trust.ف

ْلََّوك

َِ Allahت then onٱ/َّ

َrَع

َAllah,ف

let not ْنُ َيك

َمَّ Thenال

ُْم and your partners.ث

َُءك

ٓاََك ُWَوyour plan ْم

ُْمَرك

َresolveأ

carry it ُْضٓوا

ْمَّ Thenٱق

ُ any doubt.ث

ًة مَّ

ُْم for youغ

ُْيك

َْم in your planَعل

ُْمُرك

َbeأ

.give me respite نِظُروِنُ and do notت

ََّ upon meَوال

َUِإout

72

I have askedمُُتك

ْلََماthen notَسأ

َْيُتْم you turn awayف

ََّول

َِإنBut ifت

َف

is my َْجِرىَreward.ِإْن Notأ ْجرٍ ۖ

َْن anyأ youمِّ

and I have been ِمْرُتُِ Allahۖ,َوأ onٱ/َّ

َrَعbut

َّrewardِإال

".the Muslims َc deُمْسِلِمْوَن I beِمَن ofٱل

ُك

َْن thatأ

َcommandedأ

73

and thoseَوَمنso We saved him ُه ْيَنـٰ َنجََُّبوُه But they denied him,ف

َّذ

َك

َف

and We made ُهْم َنـِْٰك the ship,َوَجَعل

ْلُف

ِْ inٱل

cvwere with himَعُهۥ whoمَّ those ِذيَن

ََّناand We drownedٱل

َْرق

ْغ

َِئَف successors,َوأ

ـَٰٓthemَخل

the ُِقَبة اَن wasَعـٰ

َْيَف howك

َْر Then seeك

ُٱنظ

َِتَنا Our Signsۖ.ف ـاَيـٰ deniedِبـ¬

ُْبوا

َّذ

َwhoك

.of those who were warned ِريَنَ

ُمنذْendٱل


SURAH YUNUS

74

their ْوِمِهْمَٰ toق

َUِإMessengers

ًَناWe sentِمۢن َبْعِدِهۦafter himُرُسال مَّ Thenَبَعثْ ثُ

Butَماََنـِٰت with clear proofs.ف َبيِّ

ُْءوُهمand they came to themِبٱل

َٓجا

َpeople,ف

ُبواْ they had deniedِبِهۦitِمن ذَّ ِمُنواْ to believeِبَماwhatكَ واْ they wereِلُيؤْ انُ notكَ of the ُمْعَتِديَن

ْوِب the heartsٱل

ُلُٰ onق

َrَعWe seal ُْطَبع

َٲِلَك Thusن

َذ

َbefore.ك ْبلُ ۚ

َق

.transgressors

75

and َوَهـُٰروَنMusa ٰÇَو َناWe sentِمۢن َبْعِدِهمafter themمُّ مَّ Thenَبَعثْ ثُ with Ourِتَنا ـاَيـٰ ْيِهۦand his chiefsِبـ¬ ِ

َٰ toِفْرَعْوَن Firaunَوَمإل

َUِإHarun

aْوًماَ and wereق

ْوا

ُان

َ but they were arrogantَوك

ْوا ُ َª

ْٱْسَتك

َSigns,ف

.criminal َc deْجِرِم peopleمُّ

76 they

ْٓوا

ُال

َاfrom Us,ق

ََحقُّ the truthِمْن ِعنِدن َءُهُم came to themٱلْ اSo whenَجآ مَّ لَ فَ

".clear ٌc deِب ِسْحٌر is surely, a magicمَُّاthisل

َذ said,ِإنَّ "Indeedَهـٰ

77

about the َِّحقْوَن "Do you sayِلل

ُول

ُق

َتَالَ ُموMusa said ٰٓÇَ,أ قَ

But َ

اIs this magic?َوالَ

ذ ِسْحٌر َهـَٰit has come to you?أ ْم ۖ

َُءك

ٓاwhenَجا مَّ

َtruthل

".the magicians ِحُروَن ـٰ ِلُح succeedٱلسَّْwill notُيف

78

fromا ِفَتَناto turn us awayَعمَِّْجْئَتَنا"Have you come to usِلَتل

َ They said,أ

ْٓوا

ُال

َق

and you twoَماُك

َوَن ل كُ اour forefathers,َوتَ َءنَ ْيهِ on itَءاَبآ اwe foundَعلَ thatَوَجْدنَ

And we are ْحُنَْرِض the land?َوَما ن

َ ِْ inٱأل

cvthe greatness ُءَٓيا ِ

ْªِكْmay haveٱل

".believers َc deِمِنْ

َماin you twoِبُمؤُك

َnotل

79 Bring to" ِ

c©ُتوْالَ ِفْرَعْوُن And Firaun said,ٱئ َوقَ

".learned َعِليٍمmagician ٍِحر لِّ everyَسـُٰmeِبك

80 toُهم

َالَ saidل

َ the magicians,ق

َُحَرة ءَ cameٱلسَّ

ٓاSo whenَجا مَّ

َلَف

".wish to throw وَنُق

ْل نُتمyouمُّ

َ whateverأ

ٓ "Throwَما

ْوا

ُق

ْلَوMusa ٰٓÇَ,أ themمُّ


SURAH YUNUS

81

youِجْئُتمWhat"َما,Musa said ٰÇَالَ ُمو ْواْ they had thrown,قَ قَ لَْ Then whenأ

ٓا مَّ

َلَف

will nullify ۥٓ ۖ ُهَُ Allahَسُيْبِطل ْحُر is the magicۖ.ِإنَّ Indeed,ٱ/َّ have broughtِبهِ itٱلسِّ

of the ِسِديَنُْمف

ْ does notُيْصِلُح amendَعَملَ the workٱل

ََ Allahال it.ِإنَّ Indeed,ٱ/َّ

.corrupters

82 by Hisِتِهۦ ِلَمـٰ

ََحقَّ the truthِبك

ُْ And Allah will establishٱل َوُيِحقُّ ٱ/َّ

".the criminals ُمْجِرُموَنِْرَه dislike itٱل

َْو even ifك

َwords,َول

83

the ٌة يَّ رِّ

ُ exceptذ

َّ But noneَءاَمَن believedِلُموMusa ٰٓÇَِإال

َٓما

َف

hisْوِمِهۦَنamongق offspringمِّ

and their ْيِهْم َِ

نofِفْرَعْوَن Firaunَوَمإل ٰ forَخْوٍف fearمَِّ

rَعpeople And ََّوِإن.they persecute them ِتَنُهْم ۚ

ْنlestَيف

َchiefs,أ

,and indeedُهۥَّْرِض the earth,َوِإن

َ ِْ inٱأل

cvwas a tyrant َعاٍلَindeed,ِفْرَعْوَن Firaunل

.the ones who commit excesses َc deِِفXُْمِْمَن was ofٱل

َheل

84

you نُتْمُْوِم "O my people!ِإنIfك

َالَ ُموAnd Musa said ٰÇَ,َيـٰق َوقَ

put your ْٓوا

ُلََّوك

َْيهِ then on Himت

ََعل

َِ in Allah,ف haveَءاَمنُتمbelievedِبٱ/َّ

".Muslims َc deْسِلِم نُتمyou areمُُّtrust,ِإنifك

85

Ourَنا َناwe put our trust.َربَّْلََّوك

َِ Allahت "Uponٱ/َّ

َrَع,Then they said

ْوا

ُال

َق

َف

the َc deِلِم ـَّٰ

ْوِم for the people -ٱلظَق

ْلِّ a trialل

ًَناmake usِفْتَنة

ْْجَعل

َ Do notت

َLord!ال

.wrongdoers

86- the people ْوِم

َق

َْناAnd save usِبَرْحَمِتَك by Your Mercyِمَن fromٱل جِّ

ََون

".the disbelievers ِفِريَن ـَٰك

ْٱل


SURAH YUNUS

87

and his ِِخيهَٰ toُموMusa ٰÇََوأ

َUِإAnd We inspired

ْٓوَحْيَنا

ََوأ

inاًَماyour peopleِبِمَْ in Egyptُبُيوت

ُْوِمك

ََءا"Settleِلق َبوَّ

َنthat,ت

َbrotherأ

as places of ًة

َْم your housesِقْبل

ُك

َ and makeُبُيوت

ْوا

ُhouses,َوٱْجَعل

And give glad ِ ِّWXَوَب.the prayerۗ َوٲة

َل and establishٱلصَّ

ِْقيُموا

َworship,َوأ

".to the believers َc deِمِنْ

ُمؤْtidingsٱل

88

have ْيَتََك Indeed, Youَءات

َّ "Our Lord!ِإن

َٓنا الَ ُموAnd Musa said ٰÇَ,َربَّ َوقَ

and ًْمَوٲال

َ splendorَوأ

ًُهۥand his chiefsِزيَنة

َ َgivenِفْرَعْوَن Firaunَوَمأل

That they ْوا

َُّناOur Lord!ِلُيِضل َياof the world.َربَّ

ْن َحَيوٲةِ the lifeٱلدُّ

ِْ inٱل

cvwealth Ourَنا may lead astrayَعنfromَسِبيِلَك Your wayۖ.َربَّ

and َْوٱْشُددtheir wealth ْمَوٲِلِهْمَٰٓ onأ

َrَعDestroy ٱْطِمْس!Lord

they ِْمُنوا

ْ so that notُيؤ

َال

َوِبِهْم their hearts,ف

ُلُٰ onق

َrَعharden

".the painful ِليَمَ ْاَب the punishment -ٱأل

ََعذ

ْ they seeٱل

ْٰ untilَيَرُوا believeَح±َّ

89

the invocation ofَماُك

ُْعَوت ِجيَبتhas been answeredدَّ

ُْد "Verily,أ

َالَ He said,ق

َق

And do َ

ٱْسَتِقيَماSo you two keep to the straight way.َوالَboth of you.ف

".know ُموَنَ do notَيْعل

َِذيَن of those whoال

َّنِّ followَسِبيلَ the wayٱل

ِٓبَعا تَّ

َnotت

90

the َبْحَرِْءيلَ of Israel -ٱل

ٓٲ ٓ the Childrenِإَْ ِc±ِبَبAnd We took acrossا

َ َوَجـَٰوْزن

inَبْغًياand his hostsَوُجُنوُدُهۥFiraun ِفْرَعْوُنand followed them َبَعُهْمْتَأَsea,ف

the ُ

َغَرقْهُ overtook himٱل

َْدَرك

َ whenأ

ٓآَٰ untilِإذ and enmity,َح±َّ rebellionَوَعْدًوا ۖ

there is ٓ َُهۥthatال

َّنَالَ he said,َءاَمنُت "I believeأ

َdrowning,ق

the َِءيلٓٲ ِذىٓ the One,َءاَمَنْت ِبِهۦin Whom believeَبُنٓواْ ِإَْ exceptٱلَّ

َّهَ godِإال ـٰ

َnoِإل

".the Muslims َc deُمْسِلِمْ and I amِمَن ofٱل

۟اَنَChildren of Israel,َوأ


SURAH YUNUS

91 and نَت

ُْبلُ beforeَوك

َْد And verily,َعَصْيَت you had disobeyedق

َـَٰن "Now?َوق ـ¬

ْلَٓءا

"?the corrupters ِسِديَنُْمف

ْyou wereِمَن ofٱل

92

that you وَنُيَك We will save youِبَبَدِنَك in your body,ِلَتك َنجِّ

َُيْومَ So todayن

ْٱل

َف

And ََّوِإن.a sign ۚ ًَك succeed youَءاَية

َف

ْmay beِلَمْن for those whoَخل

Ourِتَنا اِس the mankindَعْن ofَءاَيـٰ َن amongٱلنَّ اmanyمِّ ً dِثَindeed,ك

".are surely heedless وَنُِفل َغـٰ

َSignsل

93

in a َأ ِءيلَ of Israelُمَبوَّ

ٓٲ ٓ the Childrenِإَْ ِc±َبWe settledا

َنْأ ْد And verily,َبوَّ

َق

ََول

and We providedَنـُٰهمْsettlementِصْدٍق honorable,َوَرَزق

they ْوا

ُف

ََماand notٱْخَتل

ََبـِٰت the good things,ف يِّ َن withٱلطَّ themمِّ

theۚ ُمِْعل

َْءُهُم came to themٱل

ٰٓ untilَجا differَح±َّ

between َبْيَنُهْمwill judge ِcَْك your Lordَيق knowledge.ِإنَّ Indeed,َربَّ

concerningِفيَما,of the Resurrection َِمة ِقَيـْٰthemَيْومَ on the Dayٱل

.differ وَنُ they used toِفيهِ in itَيْخَتِلف

ْوا

ُان

َwhatك

94

to ْيَكَ We have revealedِإل

َٓنا

ْنَزل

َ of whatأ

ٓا مَّ ِ inَشكٍّ doubtمِّ

cvyou are نَتُِإنSo ifك

َف

the ِكَتـَٰبَْرُءوَن have been readingٱل

ِْذيَن those whoَيق

َِّل then askٱل ْســ¬

َyou,ف

the َُّحقَْءَك has come to youٱل

ْٓد Verily,َجا

َق

َbefore you.ل ْبِلَك ۚ

َBookِمن ق

the يَن ُِمْمَ

ْنَّ beِمَن amongٱل

َون

ُك

َ so do notت

َال

ََك your Lord,ف بِّ truthِمنfromرَّ

.doubters

95 the Signs of ِ ـاَيـِٰت ٱ/َّ ُبواْ denyِبـ¬ ذَّ ِذيَن those whoكَ نَّ beِمَن ofٱلَّ ونَ كُ And do notتَ

ََوال

.the losers يَن ِXَِخـٰ

ْوَن then you will beِمَن amongٱل

َُتك

َAllah,ف

96 the ِلَمُت

َْيِهْم on themك

َْت has become dueَعل

َِّذيَن those whom,َحق



will notُيؤَ

َك of your Lordال Wordَربِّ

97 they

ْٰ untilَيَرُوا لُّ everyَءاَيةٍ Signَح±َّ

ُُهْم comes to themك

َْءت

ْٓو Even ifَجا

ََول

.the painful ِليَمَ ْاَب the punishment -ٱأل

ََعذ

ْseeٱل


SURAH YUNUS

98

and َٓعَها

ََنف

َ any townَءاَمَنْت that believed,ف

ٌْرَية

َْت wasق

َان

َ So why notك

َْوال

َلَف

of َسُْومَ the peopleُيون

َ exceptق

َّ its faith,ِإال

ُٓنَها benefited itِإيَمـٰ

from َعْنُهْمWe removedَناَْشف

َ they believed,ك

ْ Whenَءاَمُنوا

ٓا مَّ

َYunus?ل

ofَياْن َحَيوٲةِ the lifeٱلدُّ

ِْ inٱل

cvof the disgrace ِخْزِىْاَب the punishmentٱل

َthemَعذ

.a time ٍc deِحfor َٰ

Uِإand We granted them enjoyment ُهْم ْعَنـٰ the worldَوَمتَّ

99

surely, would have َمَنَ ََك your Lordأل ءَ had willedَربُّ

ْٓو And ifَشا

ََول

all of ُهْمُّلُْرِض the earthك

َ ِْ are inٱأل

cvwhoَمنbelieved the اَس ِرُه compelٱلنَّ

ْك

ُنَت Then, will youت

َأَفَthemَجِميًعا togetherۚ.أ

?believers َc deِمِنْ

they becomeُمؤْوا

ُون

ُٰ untilَيك mankindَح±َّ

100

by the ِنْ exceptِبِإذ

َِّمَن believeِإال

ْؤ

ُنtoت

ٍَس for a soulأ

ْاَن isِلَنف


the ْجَس ِ of Allahۚ.َوَيْجَعلُ And He will placeٱلرِّ permissionٱ/َّ.use reason وَن

ُ do notَيْعِقل


َّ onٱل

َrَعwrath

101

and the ْرِض َۚ َْمـَٰوٲِت the heavensَوٱأل ِ is inٱلسَّ

cvwhatاَ "See,َماذ

ُْروا

ُِل Say,ٱنظ

ُق

and the ُرُ

ذ َيـُٰت the Signsَوٱلنَُّ ْْغ±will avail ِcٱأل

ُearth."َوَماBut notت


who do notُيؤَّ

ْوٍم a peopleالَwarnersَعنtoق

102

of those ِذيَنَّاِم the daysٱل يَّ

َلَ likeأ

ْ exceptِمث

ََّهلْ Then doَينَتِظُروَن they waitِإال

َف

Then" ْٱنَتِظُرٓوا

َلْ Say,ف

ُْبِلِهْم before themۚ?ق

َْواْ passed awayِمن ق whoَخلَ

".the ones who wait ُمنَتِظِريَنَْن amongٱل مwith youمِّ

ُ indeed, I amَمَعك

ِّc©ِإwait

103

and those ِذيَنََّناOur Messengersَوٱل

َِّ We will saveُرُسل ª̧ َن

ُمَّ Thenن

ُث

that نِجُْيَناupon Usن

َاit is an obligationَعل

ٲِلَك Thus,َحق

َذ

َ believeۚ.ك

ْwhoَءاَمُنوا

.the believers َc deِمِنْ

ُمؤْWe saveٱل


SURAH YUNUS

104

my ِc±ِديofنِ inَشكٍّ doubtمِّ

cvyou are نُتْمُاُس "O mankind!ِإنIfك َها ٱلنَّ يُّ

َألْ Say,َيـٰٓ

ُق

you ْعُبُدوَنَِذيَن those whomت

َّْعُبُد I worshipٱل

َ then notأ

ٓ َال

َreligion,ف

theِذىََّ Allah,ٱل ْعُبُد I worshipٱ/َّ

َـِٰكْن butأ

َِ besides Allah,َول worshipِمن ُدوِن ٱ/َّ

And I am ِمْرُتُْم causes you to dieۖ.َوأ

ُـٰك

َّOne Whoَيَتَوف

".the believers َc deِمِنْ

ُمؤْوَن I beِمَن ofٱل

ُك

َْن thatأ

َcommandedأ

105 to the يِن ِقْم "Directَوْجَهَك your faceِللدِّ

َْن And that,أ

ََوأ

.the polytheists َc deِِكْWXُم

ْنَّ beِمَن ofٱل

َون

ُك

َ and do notت

َاupright,َوال

ًreligionَحِنيف

106

will َ

ِ besides Allahَماwhatال ْدعُ invokeِمن ُدوِن ٱ/َّ And do notتََ

َوال you did َت

َْعل

َِإنBut ifف

ََك harm youۖ.ف ُّ ُcَيand not

َُعَك benefit youَوال

َnotَينف

".the wrongdoers َc deِلِم ـَّٰ

َن ofٱلظ اthen will beمًَِّك indeed, youِإذ

َِّإن

َsoف

107

there is َ

الٍَّ with adversityف ُcِبAllah touches you ُ َوِإنAnd ifَيْمَسْسَك ٱ/َّ

He intends for ُيِرْدَكand ifَوِإن,Himۖ َُهوexcept َّ

ۥٓ of itِإال ُهَاِشَف removerل

َnoك

of His ْضِلِهۦ َۚدَّ repellerِلف

ٓ then there is noَرا

َال

ٍَ any goodف ْdِبَخyou

He ُءٓBounty.ُيِصيُب ِبِهۦHe causes it to reachَمنwhomَيَشا

-is the Oft وُرَُغف

ْHis slaves.َوُهَو And Heٱل willsِمْن ofِعَباِدِهۦ ۚ

.the Most Merciful ِحيُم Forgiving,ٱلرَّ

108

the َُّحقُْم has come to youٱل

َُءك

ْٓد Verilyَجا

َاُس "O mankind!ق َها ٱلنَّ يُّ

َألْ Say,َيـٰٓ

ُق

thenَماَِّإن

ََمِن So whoeverٱْهَتَدىٰ is guidedف

َyour Lord.ف ْم ۖ

ُك بِّ truthِمنfromرَّ

goes ََّضلand whoeverَوَمن,for his soul ِسِهۦ ْۖonlyَيْهَتِدىhe is guidedِلَنف

And I am ۟اَنَagainst it.َوَمآ أ ْيَها ۖ َماthen onlyَيِضلُّ he straysَعلَ ِإنَّ astrayفَ

".a guardian ِبَوِكيٍلover youمُْيك

َnotَعل

109

and be ْ ِªَوٱْصto you ْيَكَِبعْ And followَماwhatُيوَ¦ٰٓ is revealedِإل

ََّوٱت

is the ُ ْdَخAnd He َوُهَو.Allah gives judgment ۚ َُم ٱ/َّ ٰ untilَيْحكُ patientَح±َّ

.of the Judges َc deَحـِٰكِمْBestٱل
