1 Introduction
Thank you for choosing the T6 aPlayer produced by Beijing Hongdee
Corporation This user manual is designed to help you master the functional
characteristics and specific operation methods about T6, and to explain the safety
issues in the use process. Please read this manual carefully before using T6.
T6 is specially designed for visually impaired people. Through the well-designed
voice-user interface, the visually impaired people’s dream to read by their own come
ture. T6 integrates several functions including barrier-free website browsing, listening
to Internet radio, reading DAISY books, listening to and reading e-books as well as
playing digital media files, recording pen and voice watch.
DAISY books boast various functions such as outline browsing, chapter click
reading, page number jumping, sentence jumping, bookmark setting and note taking.
DAISY books highly restore the operating experience of visual users when reading
paper books, maximally realize the indiscriminate treatment of visually impaired
people and visually non-impaired people in reading and truly achieve nonblind and
blind reading integration.
The version number of the product software applicable to this user manual is
"3.0.2322". We will release the software upgrade package from time to time through
the network. Users can check and complete the upgrades at any time through the
system menu of T6. For specific operation methods, please refer to the subsequent
chapters of this manual. With the upgrade of product software, the contents described
in this manual may not be completely consistent with the actual functions. Please visit
the company's official website or call the after-sales services to obtain the latest
version of this manual.

2 Hardware Introduction
2.1 Packing List
Open the outer package. The standard configuration includes: one T6 host, one
charger, one USB cable, one lithium battery and one Quick Start Manual.
2.2 Hardware Specification Parameters
A. Built-in memory card: 8 GB (where 3 GB is reserved by the system)
B. Storage space expansion: standard SD card
C. Recording: Built-in microphone
D. Earphone interface: 3. 5mm stereo
E. Speaker: Built-in speaker

G. Battery: built-in large-capacity rechargeable lithium battery

2.3 Button and Interface Layout
2.3.1 Front
The upper right corner of the front side is an LED indicator for indicating the working
status of T6. In the lower left corner, there is a small sound acquisition hole with a built-in
microphone, which should be close to the sound source when recording.
There are a total of 7 rows of buttons in the LED indicator, from top to bottom:
The first row is a strip, the left end of the strip is the start button, and the right end of the
strip is the menu button.
In the second row, there are 7 buttons, the left side is the return button, the middle is the
navigation button composed of the upper and lower left buttons distributed around the
confirmation button, and the right side is the prompt button.
The third row is also a strip: the left end of the strip is the jump button, and the right end
of the strip is the label button.
The fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh rows jointly form a standard four-row and three-
column telephone buttonboard, of which there are two blind spots on the number 5 button and
the left side of the number 0 is the asterisk button, the right side is the pound number button.
The same as the standard practice of the telephone buttonboard, 26 English letters and
punctuation marks are assigned to 10 numeric buttons of the digital buttonboard. Where the
number 0 button can be used to enter spaces; the number 1 button is used to enter punctuation
marks; the number 2 button can be used to enter letters a, b and c; the number 3 button can be
used to enter letters d, letter e and letter f; the number 4 button can be used to enter letters g,
letter h and letter I; the number 5 button can be used to enter letter j, letter k and letter l; the
number 6 button can be used to enter letter m, letter n and letter o; the number 7 button can be
used to enter the letter p, letter q, letter r and letter s; the number 8 button can be used to enter
the letter t, letter u and letter v; the number 9 button can be used to enter the letter w, letter x,
letter y, and letter z.
2.3.2 Upper Side
The middle position on the upper side is the standard SD card slot. The right side of the
slot is the power button.
2.3.3 Lower Side
The lower side is from left to right in order: lanyard hole, USB slot, and earphone slot.
2.3.4 Left Side
The upper part of the left side has two buttons next to each other, namely the volume up
button and the volume down button. The lower part of the left side is the time telling button.
2.3.5 Right Side
The upper half of the right side has a recording button.
2.3.6 Back
The upper half of the back is the built-in speaker, the lower half is the battery
compartment with the battery cover, and there are 5 blind spots at the opening of the battery
cover to indicate the position.
2.4 Inserting SD card
The shape of the SD card is a cuboid slice cut off of a small corner. Keep the cut in the
lower right corner, align and gently push into the SD card slot, and then gently press the
exposed edge of the SD card with your fingertips, after hearing the mechanical contact sound
of "click", the installation of SD card can be completed. When you need to pull out the SD
card, gently press the exposed edge of the SD card with your fingertips, and the SD card will
pop up from the card slot.
Note: improper installation of SD card will damage the T6 host, and any damage caused
by misoperation will not be covered by warranty.
2.5 Battery Installation and Charging
Find the gap indicated by the 5 blind spots at the end of the battery cover, and use the
fingertips to pull out the battery cover. At this time, be careful to avoid injuries of nails.
T6 is equipped with a large-capacity rechargeable lithium battery. The battery is of a
cubid shape. There are 3 small gaps at the intersection of the back and the lower side. Keep 3
small gaps in the lower right corner and put the battery flat into the battery compartment,
gently press to complete the installation; when you want to remove the battery, you can use
your fingertips to pick out the battery from the gap located in the middle of the upper end of
the battery compartment.
When charging the battery, please plug the standard USB cable small end connector into
the USB slot on the T6 host, the large end connector into the USB interface of the standard
charger, and then plug the charger into the power socket, T6 will issue a voice prompt to "start
charging", which takes about 5 hours to fully charge the battery.
Note: improper operation of the USB cable may cause damage to the T6 host, and any
damage caused by misoperation is not covered by the warranty. When charging, please use
only the charger and USB cable that comes standard with this machine, otherwise it may cause
the battery to explode or the T6 host to be damaged.
3 Basic Operation
3.1 Power on and off
In the shutdown status, short press the power button, and T6 will start and play the
starting music. If you have previously read and listenned to any electronic file by using T6 and
the files have not been deleted before starting, T6 will automatically point to the file and read
its file name and other information.
In the power-on status, long press the power button to turn off, and you will hear the
voice prompt of "shutting down" when shutting down.
3.2 Layout of Self-study Buttons
After starting up, long press the number 5, T6 will enter the button learning mode, short
press any button at this time, T6 will read the name of the button. If you want to exit the button
learning mode, long press the number 5 button for the next time.
3.3 Adjusting the Volume
During use, short press the “volume up button” can increase the volume, and short press
the “volume down button” can reduce the volume. T6 controls the volume of the built-in
speaker and earphones respectively, when connecting the headset, the volume of the headset is
adjusted, and when the headset is not connected, the volume of the built-in speaker is adjusted.
3.4 Reading the Screen Information
T6 is not equipped with a physical display screen, but you can know what is currently
displayed by pressing the prompt button at any time.
3.5 Getting Real-time Operation Help
During use, you can press the prompt button at any time to get a short operation prompt
corresponding to the current status of T6.
3.6 Checking System Time and Battery Remaining Capacity
Repeat the short press of the time announcing button. The first time it will report the
current system time: what time it is and what day today is. The second time it will report
month, day and year and the third time it will report the remaining battery power; the date of
the lunar calendar will be reported for the fourth time.
3.7 Menu Operation
In the process of using T6, short press the menu button, T6 will provide different menus
according to the usage scenario at that time, for setting the system, or setting the playing
parameters, or setting the recording parameters, etc.
The menu consists of menu items and sub-menus. The sub-menus can also continue to
include the next-level sub-menus and menu items.
Users can select menu items or sub-menus by pressing the upper and lower buttons. If
you select a sub-menu, the sub-menu will be opened by short pressing the confirm button.
Some menu items are used to perform a function. At this time, you need to short press the
confirmation button to perform such a function.
Some menu items are used to set a control parameter. When such menu items are
selected, T6 will firstly read the name of the parameter and the current setting value. At this
time, the parameter value can be modified by short pressing the left and right buttons. After
the modification is completed, press the confirmation button to save, and short press the return
button to give up.
To close the menu, short press the return button.
4 Managing Book Files
After starting up, repeat short press start button. The three options of "local Disk",
"Internet" and "Common Files" will appear cyclically. If the SD card is inserted, the option of
"SD card" will also appear.
When the "Internet" option is selected, the user needs to short press the confirmation
button to start accessing the internet. For details, please refer to the follow-up section of this
manual.
4.1 Browsing Local Disk
Repeat the short press of the start button, select "local Disk", and then control the
movement of the file cursor by combining the left and right buttons, confirmation buttons, and
return buttons to browse the files in the local disk. Every time the cursor moves to a new
place, T6 reads the name of the current file. The specific operations are as follows:
Previous file or folder: short press the left button.
Next file or folder: short press the right button.
Open the folder: when the folder is selected, short press the confirm button to enter the
folder.
Return to the superior folder: short press the return button.
Play the current file: when the cursor points to the file, T6 will start playing the file after
a short press of the confirmation button, and for unsupported file types, "This file type is not
supported" will be reported.
Reading the screen: short press the prompt button and T6 will read the following screen
information: the total number of files in the current folder, the current file's location in the
home folder, and the name of the current file.
Jump to the file according to the sequence number: short press the jump button and
prompt "Please enter the number". The user can enter the sequence number of the target file in
the assigned folder through the digital buttonboard, thus quickly selecting the file.
Add local file favorites: short press the label button and ask "Do you want to add local
file favorites". At this time, short press the confirmation button to confirm the collection and
short press the return button to abandon the collection.
4.2 Browsing SD card
Repeat short press of the start button and select "SD card" to browse the book files in it.
The operation mode is exactly the same as browsing the local disk.
4.3 File Exchange between Local Disk and Computer
Use a USB cable to connect the T6 host to a computer with a Windows operating system
without installing a driver. The computer will recognize the local disk of the T6 as an
uninstalled U disk, and then the electronic files can be copied and exchanged between the
local disk of T6 and the computer.
After the copy of the book file is completed, please use the "safely delete hardware"
function provided by the Windows operating system to disconnect, otherwise the book copy
may not be successful.
4.4 File Exchange between SD Card and Computer
T6 supports the use of a standard SD card within 32 GB for storage space extension.
After copying your favorite book files to the SD card through the computer, you can use T6 to
listen.
When copying book files to SD cards, after the end, please use the "safely delete
hardware" function provided by the computer operating system to disconnect, otherwise the
book copy may not be successful.
4.5 Sorting Internal Files
When browsing a file, short press the asterisk button to delete the current file or folder.
Long press the upper button to add the current file to the list waiting to be copied, and long
press the lower button to copy all the files in the waiting copy list to the current folder.
4.6 Opening Files Quickly through Common Lists
Repeat the short press of the start button, select “Common Files”, then short press the
confirmation button, and then select a list of common files of different types through the left
and right buttons; there are 4 kinds including "local file favorites", "e-book recent reading
list", "DAISY book recent reading list" and "audio and video recent playlist, Short press the
confirmation button to open the list after selection.
"Local file favorites" is used to save the files collected by the user by pressing the label
button in the process of browsing the local disk or SD card. After opening, you can browse by
pressing the left and right buttons.
The "e-book recent reading list" is used to automatically save the location information of
the 20 electronic files that have been read by the latest listening. After opening the list, you can
browse by pressing the left and right buttons.
"DAISY book recent reading list" is used to automatically save the location information
of the latest already-read 20 DAISY books. After opening the list, you can browse by short
press left and right buttons.
"Audio and video recent playlist" is used to automatically save the location information
of the latest 20 audio and video files played. After opening the list, you can browse by pressing
the left and right buttons.
When browsing the list of common files, short press the asterisk button to delete the
current common mark, and long press the asterisk button to delete all common marks in the
current list at one time.
5 Playing DAISY Books
5.1 How to Get started?
After selecting the DAISY book, short press the confirmation button to start reading the
book. If the book has been played before, T6 will automatically continue to play from the stop
position at the end of the last play.
Every time you open a DAISY book, T6's "read by sentence" mode is automatically
turned off. At this time, short press the “pound button” to open the "read by sentence" mode.
5.2 Pause and Recovery
During the play, short press the confirmation button to pause the play. When in a pause
status, the play can be resumed by short pressing the confirmation button.
5.3 Inquiring about Books Copyrights and Location Information
In the process of playing DAISY books, short press the prompt button to read the name,
author, publishing house and other information of the book being played. If the book contains
page number information, the page number currently being played, and the total number of
pages of the book, will also be reported.
5.4 Changing the Page-turning Stepping Unit
DAISY books support reading by page number, title, single sentence, five sentences, one
minute and other stepping units. During the play process, you can select the page-turning
stepping unit by short pressing the up and down buttons, then short press the left and right
buttons to turn pages forward and backward.
For DAISY books that are not paginated at the time of publication, the option of "page
number" will not be included in the page-turning stepping unit.
5.5 Turning Pages forward and backward
When the page turning stepping unit is selected as "page number", short press the left and
right buttons will jump to the previous or next page of the DAISY book.
5.6 Turning Pages forward and backward by Single Sentence
When the page-turning stepping unit is selected as a "single sentence", short pressing the
left and right button will play the previous or next sentence.
The length of the sentence of a DAISY book is determined by the publisher of the book,
which may consist of multiple clauses, or may consist of only one clause, or even just one
word or one word.
5.7 Turning Pages forward and backward by Five Sentences
When the page-turning stepping unit is selected as "five sentences", short press of the left
and right button will jump forward or backward to the fifth sentence to start playing.
5.8 Turning forward and backward by Titles
When the page-turning stepping unit is selected as the title, short press left and right at
this time will jump to the beginning of the previous title or the beginning of the next title.
5.9 Go to the Specified Page
During the play process, cyclically short press the jump button to hear the "page number
jump, please enter the page number", use the digital buttonboard to enter the page number, and
then short press the confirmation button. T6 will jump to the beginning of the specified page.
During the process of entering numbers, short press the asterisk button to delete the
number of page numbers that were last entered.
5.10 Go to the Title
During the play process, cyclically short press the jump button to hear "title jump, please
select title", T6 will firstly open the book title directory, and read the title of the chapter
belonging to the body being played, and then the user can jump the title in the following two
ways.
5.10.1 Browsing and Selecting the Title
When opening the book title Directory for the first time, T6 defaults to only display all
the first-level titles of the current book, and users can browse all the first-level titles through
the left and right buttons.
DAISY books only support a title structure with a depth of up to level 6. After opening
the book title Directory, users can control which levels of titles are only displayed through the
upper and lower Buttons, the options that the up and down buttons can provide will vary
depending on the actual situation of each DAISY book.
If the deepest chapter of a DAISY book is Level 1, the upper and lower buttons will only
provide the option of "Level 1 Title”.
If the deepest chapter of a DAISY book is Level 2, the upper and lower buttons will
provide two options: "Level 1 title" and "Level 1 to Level 2 Title”.
If the deepest chapter of a DAISY book is Level 3, then the up and down buttons will
provide the three options "Level 1 title", "Level 1 to Level 2 title" and "Level 1 to Level 3
title”.
If the deepest chapter of a DAISY book is Level 4, then the up and down buttons will
provide four options: “Level 1 title”, “Level 1 to Level 2 title”, “Level 1 to Level 3 title”, and
“Level 1 to Level 4 title”.
If the deepest chapter of a DAISY book is Level 5, the up and down buttons will provide
"Level 1 title", "Level 1 to Level 2 title", "Level 1 to Level 3 title", "Level 1 to Level 4 title"
and "Level 1 to Level 5 ".
If the deepest chapter of a DAISY book is Level 6, the up and down buttons will provide
"Level 1 title", "Level 1 to Level 2 title", "Level 1 to Level 3 title", "Level 1 to Level 4 title",
"Level 1 to Level 5 and "Level 1 to Level 6 title”.
If the user selects "level 1 title" using the upper and lower buttons, all titles above Level 2
are hidden at this time, therefore, short press of the left and right buttons will only browse to
the names of all level 1 titles.
If the user selects "Level 1 to Level 2 titles" using the up and down buttons, all titles
above Level 3 are hidden at this time, therefore, short press of the left and right buttons will
only browse to the names of all level 1 or Level 2 titles.
If the user selects "Level 1 to Level 3 titles" using the up and down buttons, all titles
above Level 3 are hidden at this time, therefore, short press of the left and right buttons will
only browse to the names of all level 1 or level 2 or level 3 titles.
If the user selects "Level 1 to Level 4 titles" using the up and down buttons, all titles
above Level 4 are hidden at this time, therefore, short press of the left and right buttons will
only browse to the names of all level 1 or level 2 or level 3 or level 4 titles.
If the user selects "Level 1 to Level 5 titles" using the up and down buttons, all titles
above Level 5 are hidden at this time, therefore, short press of the left and right buttons will
only browse to the names of all level 1 or level 2 or level 3 or level 4 or level 5 titles.
If the user selects "Level 1 to Level 6 titles" using the up and down buttons, at this time
the titles at all levels are fully displayed, so short press of the left and right buttons will be able
to browse to the name of the title at all levels.
After selecting a title name, short press the confirmation button short and jump to the
body indicated by the title to start playing.
5.10.2 Using Hierarchical Numbering to Directly Select Titles
After opening the book title directory, you can enter the hierarchical number of a title
through the digital buttonboard at any time, and then short press the confirmation button to
jump to the beginning of the text indicated by the title.
The different levels of the title number are separated by decimal places, such as entering
"1.3.5", and then short press the confirmation button, and T6 will start playing the 5 th sub-
section of the 3rd section of the 1st chapter.
In the process of entering numbers, use the pound button in the T6 digital buttonboard to
enter the decimal point, and short press the asterisk button to delete the last entered number or
decimal point.
5.11 Bookmark Function
5.11.1 Marking New Bookmarks
In the process of playing DAISY books, short press the label button, and T6 will ask
"whether to mark a new bookmark". At this time, short press the confirmation Button to mark
a bookmark at the current playing position, short press the return button to give up.
There is no limit to the number of bookmarks.
5.11.2 Use and Maintenance of Bookmarks
In the process of playing DAISY books, long press the label button to open the bookmark
list of the current book. At this time, you can use the left and right buttons to browse all the

5.12 Voice Note Function
5.12.1 Recording Voice Notes
In the process of reading DAISY books, if you want to record a voice note for the text
sentence that is currently playing, you can press the number 1 button and hear the voice
prompt “Please start, you can use the T6 microphone to record voice notes”. During the
recording process, short press the return button to give up the entry content, and short press the
confirmation button for saving the entered content.
T6 supports recording multiple voice notes for the same text sentence. After The Voice
Note entry is completed, short press the return button to exit the voice note function. T6 will
continue to play the text.
5.12.2 Entering Text Notes
In the process of reading DAISY books, if you want to write a text note for the text
sentence that is currently playing, you can short press the number 2 button and hear the voice
prompt "Please start”, you can use the digital buttonboard to enter English letters or numbers,
or you can switch to the voice input method by pressing the pound button. T6 will
automatically convert the voice to text and save it as a note. Please note that this feature
requires support from the internet back office system.
5.12.3 Browsing Voice Notes
In the process of playing DAISY books, if T6 finds that a text sentence has a voice note
recorded by the user, T6 will issue a "ding dong" sound.
During the play process, short press the number 3 button to open a list of all the voice
notes of the current book. If the user has heard the "Ding Dong" prompt during this reading
process, T6 will automatically point to and play the first record of the voice note pointed to by
the last "Ding Dong" prompt, otherwise T6 will point to and play the first record of the first
voice note of the book.
After opening the list of voice notes, the user can short press the left and right buttons to
view all the notes belonging to the same text sentence, or short press the up and down buttons
to switch to the voice notes belonging to other texts.
When viewing a note record, short press the confirmation button to switch to the body of
the book to which the note belongs and continue to play the book from that body position.
5.12.4 Deleting Voice Notes
After opening the list of voice notes, you can quickly press the asterisk button to delete
the voice notes you just viewed. Short press the asterisk button to delete all voice notes in the
current body.
5.13 AB Repetition
During the play process, short press the asterisk button for the first time, T6 will prompt
"Point A has been set" and continue to play, short press the asterisk button for the second time,
and T6 will prompt "Point B has been set ", the T6 will then play repeatedly between the two
points of AB until the user short presses the asterisk for the third time to exit the AB repeat
mode.
5.14 Reading Sentence by Sentence
During the play process, short press the pound button to turn on or off the sentence-by-
sentence reading function. When it is on, T6 will automatically pause after every sentence is
played.
5.15 Adjusting Play Parameters
During the play process, short press of the menu button will open the “play control
menu", the default includes three menu items: "text reading pronunciation person", "audio play
speed" and "text reading speed". If the DAISY book currently playing contains page number
information, the menu items of "whether to read the page number" will also be added.
The meaning of "text reading pronunciation person" is: for words that are not provided
with manual recording in DAISY books, T6 will automatically read aloud and provide
multiple pronunciation people to choose from, with male voices and female voices.
The meaning of "audio play speed" is: used to control the play speed of the manual pre-
recording part in DAISY books, including a total of 23 speed levels ranging from -2 to 19 to
choose from.
The meaning of "text reading speed" is: the machine reading speed used to control the
text in DAISY books, including a total of 23 speed levels ranging from-2 to 19.
The meaning of "read page number or not" is: if "yes" is selected, T6 will automatically
read the page number of the page before each start to play the content of a new page during the
play.
For the specific operation method of the menu, please refer to the "menu operation" in the
"basic operation" in the previous section of this manual.
To exit the parameter adjustment function, short press the return button.
5.16 Ending the Play
Short press the return button during the play process to end this play, T6 will return to the
browsing state.
6 Playing e-books
6.1 How to Get started?
After selecting the e-book file, you can start playing the e-book by short pressing the
confirmation button. If the file has been played before, T6 will automatically continue playing
from the position that stopped at the end of the last play.
When playing an e-book, T6 will automatically break and page the e-book according to
fixed rules.
Every time you open an e-book file, the "read aloud sentence by sentence" mode of T6 is
automatically turned off. At this time, short press the pound button to open the "read aloud
sentence by sentence" mode.
6.2 Pause and Recovery
During the play process, short pressing the confirmation button will pause the play. You
can short press the confirmation button to resume the play.
6.3 Checking Play Location Information
During the play process, short press the prompt button, and T6 will report the page
number currently playing, as well as the total number of pages.
6.4 Changing the Page-turning Stepping Unit
T6 supports the reading of e-books by page number, single sentence, five sentences and
files. During the play process, you can select the stepping unit of the book by short pressing
the up and down buttons, then short press the left and right buttons to turn pages forward and
backward in accordance with the selected stepping unit.
6.5 Turning Pages forward and backward
When the page-turning stepping unit is selected as "page number", short press of the left
and right buttons will jump to the previous page or the next page.
6.6 Turning Pages forward and backward by Single Sentence
When the page-turning stepping unit is selected as a "single sentence", short press of the
left and right button will jump to the previous or next sentence.
6.7 Turning Pages forward and backward by Five Sentences
When the page-turning stepping unit is selected as "five sentences", short press of the left
and right button will jump forward or backward to the fifth sentence to start playing.
6.8 Playing Previous or Next File
When the page-turning stepping unit is selected as "file", short press of left and right
buttons will end the play of the current file and jump to the previous or next file to start
playing.
6.9 Go to the Specified Page
During the play process, short pressing the jump button will prompt "page number jump,
please enter page number". At this time, use the digital buttonboard to enter the page number,
and then short press the confirmation button, T6 will jump to the beginning of the specified
page and play.
During the entering process, short press the asterisk button to delete the number you
entered last time.
6.10 Marking New Bookmark
During the process of playing an e-book, short press of the label button will ask "whether
to mark a new bookmark". At this time, short press of the confirmation button can mark a
bookmark at the current play position, and short press of the return button can give up.
There is no limit to the number of bookmarks.

6.16 Ending the play
Short press the return button during the play process to end this play, and T6 will return to

7 Playing Media Files
7.1 How to Get started?
After selecting the media file, short press the confirmation button to start playing the file.
For the media file with a total duration of more than 10 minutes, if the file has been played
before, T6 will automatically continue playing from where it stopped at the end of the last
play.
7.2 Pause and Recovery
During the play process, short pressing the confirmation button will pause the play. In
case of pause status, you can short press the confirmation button to resume the play.
7.3 Checking Current Play Location Information
During the play process, short press the prompt button, T6 will report the time value of
the current play position, the total length of time, and the remaining length of time.
7.4 Changing the Play Stepping Unit
T6 supports fast-forward or fast-backward operation of media files by 5 seconds, 1
minute, 5 minutes and files. During the play process, stepping units can be selected by short
pressing the up and down buttons at any time, then press the selected step unit through the left
and right buttons for fast-forward or fast-backward operations.
7.5 Go to Playing by Time Unit
When the stepping unit is selected as "5 seconds", or "1 minute", or "5 minutes", short
pressing the left button will be fast-backward for 5 seconds, or 1 minute, or 5 minutes; short
pressing the right button will be fast-forward for 5 seconds, or 1 minute, or 5 minutes.
7.6 Playing Previous or Next File
When the stepping unit is selected as a "file", short pressing the left and right buttons will
end the play of the current file and jump to the previous or next file to start playing.
7.7 Go to the Specified Time Point
During the play process, short press the jump button and "time point jump, please enter
time point" will prompt. At this time, the user can enter the time point value through the digital

7.8 Marking New Bookmark
In the process of playing a media file, short press of the label button will ask "whether to

7.12 Ending the Play
Short press the return button during the play process to end this play, and T6 will return to
the file browsing status.
8 Recording
Short press the recording button, and T6 will prompt "press the confirmation button to
start recording short". Before the official startup, the user can also short press the menu button
to adjust the recording parameters.
8.1 Recording Start, Pause and Recovery
When recording, please close the sound source to the built-in microphone input hole
located in the lower left corner of the front of the T6 host. During the recording, you can press
the confirmation button to pause, and then short press the confirmation button again to resume
the recording.
8.2 Ending and Saving Recording Data
When the recording is completed, you can either short press the return button or press the
recording button again, thus ending the recording and saving the recording data. After the
saving is successful, T6 will ask if it is played back. The user can short press the confirmation
button to perform the playback, or short press the return button to give up the playback. After
the recording is completed, T6 will return to the status before the recording function is
enabled.
8.3 Adjusting Recording Parameters
After the recording function is enabled, short press the menu button before the recording
is officially started, and T6 will open the “recording settings menu".

To exit the recording setting function, short press the return button.
8.3.1 Selecting the Storage Location of Recording Data
Using the up and down buttons to move to select recording data storage location, T6 will
report the name of the current setting storage location with the default storage location of
"local disk ".
A total of three options including local disk, SD card and U disk can be set by short
pressing left and right buttons. if the setting is "local Disk ", T6 will create a new folder with
the name "recording file" under the root folder of the local disk; if the SD card is set, T6 will
create a new folder named "recording file" under the root folder of the SD card, after which all
recording data will be saved to the corresponding location.
8.3.2 Selecting Recording Quality
Using the up and down buttons to move to select recording quality, and T6 will report the
current setting value for recording quality, default to “high quality ". A total of two options are
"high quality" and "general quality. Users can set it by short pressing the left and right buttons.
When set to "high quality", recording data of the same length of time will occupy a relatively
large amount of storage space.
8.3.3 Selecting Recording Format
Using the up and down buttons to move to "select recording format", and T6 will report
the current setting value of the recording format, default to "MP3"; there are two options of
"MP3" and "WAV”; the user can set it by short pressing the left and right buttons. When set to
"WAV", the storage space occupied by the Recording data of the same length of time will be
significantly increased. Accordingly, the quality of recording has also been improved.
8.4 Naming Rules for Recording Files
T6 supports recording up to 65535 recording files. Each recording, combined with the
type of recording format selected at that time, starts with number 1 and is named in sequence,
such as: "1. AAC, “2. WAV”, “125. AAC”, etc.
The total duration of all recorded files is limited only by the remaining capacity of the
selected storage space.
When the total number of recorded files exceeds the limit of 65535, delete the recording
files that are no longer useful, or back up to other storage devices.
8.5 Backing up the Recording Files
For recording data saved on a local disk, you can use a USB cable to connect the T6 to a
computer with a Windows operating system installed, and the computer will recognize the
local disk of the T6 as an unmounted U disk, in this U disk, find a folder with the name
"recording file" and use the file manager of the computer to back up the recording files.
9 Access to the Internet
9.1 Setting Network Parameters
T6 supports access to the Internet through the Wifi network. You can choose to access the
Wifi hotspot and enter the access password. For hotspots with Chinese names, T6 only
recognizes Chinese name hotspots that use UTF-8 encoding.
For details, see "Network Settings" in the “System Menu” in the subsequent sections of
this manual.
9.2 Browsing the Internet
After selecting "Internet" by the “Start Button”, short press the “Confirmation Button”,
T6 will request a communication connection from the web server. After the connection is
successful, the server's home page content will be presented first.
Some of the information links on the webpage can only be listened to online, some can
only be downloaded and listened to, and some support the aforementioned two ways at the
same time. Information links are organized in much the same way as files in "local disk", so
browsing the Internet operates in the same way as browsing local disks.
Previous link: Short press the left button.
Next link: Short press the right button.
Go to the next level page: when the selected link points to the next level page, short press
the confirmation button to open the next level page.
Return to the previous page: short press the return button.
Play the current link content: for links that support online listening, after selecting the
link, short press the confirmation button, T6 will start playing the content of the link.
Check the number of current page links: short press the prompt button, T6 will report the
total number of links on the current page, and the position sequence number of the current link
in the link list.
Jump to the specified link according to the sequence number: short press the jump button,
and "Please enter the serial number" will be shown. The user can enter the sequence number of
the target link in the link list of the current page through the numeric keypad, so as to quickly
select the link.
9.3 Setting the Storage Location When Downloading
During the browsing process, short press the menu button, the Internet function menu will
pop up. At present, there is only one menu item of “Select download storage space”. At this
time, press the left and right button to select “Local Disk” and “SD Card” as the storage
location of the downloaded file.
9.4 Downloading from the Internet
For the web link that supports downloading and listening, after selecting the link, the user
can press and hold the confirmation button to download. When downloading, T6 will
determine the storage location according to the “file download storage space” set by the user.
If the setting is “local disk”, T6 will save the file to the root folder of the local disk. If what is
set is the "SD card", T6 will save the file to the root folder of the SD card.
9.5 Favorite Web Link
During the process of browsing the webpage, short press the tab button, T6 will ask
“whether to add to the webpage favorites”, then short press the confirmation button for
collection while short press the return button to quit collection.
9.6 Opening Web Favorites
During the process of browsing the webpage, long press the lable button to open the
webpage favorites list, and then use the left and right buttons and the confirmation button to
browse the favorites list.
9.7 Deleting Favorite Records
After opening the webpage favorites, the user can delete one of the favorite records by
short pressing the asterisk button, or long press the asterisk button to clear all the favorite
records.
10 System Menu
When browsing the local disk or SD card, short press the menu button to open the system
menu. For the specific operation method of the menu, please refer to “Menu Operation” in the
“Basic Operation” section of the previous section of this manual.
10.1 Network Settings
After selecting the “Network Settings” submenu via the up and down buttons, short press
the confirmation button to open the submenu.
10.1.1 Enabling or Disabling WIFI Function
After selecting the “WIFI Status” menu item, if you hear the T6 report “WIFI status,
disable, press the confirmation button to enable”, please press the confirmation button to
enable WIFI, T6 will report “Enable successfully”.
After WIFI is enabled, T6 will automatically search for nearby WIFI hotspots that have
been connected. If it exists, T6 will automatically try to connect by using the password
information that was entered when the hotspot was last connected.
After selecting the "WIFI Status" menu item, if you hear the T6 report "WIFI status,
enabled, no hotspot is connected, press the confirmation button to disable", it means that the
T6 failed to automatically connect to any network after the WIFI is enabled last time. Please
execute the “Near WIFI Hotspot” menu item to select a WIFI hotspot to connect.
Tips: during the use, if you do not access the Internet temporarily, it is recommended to
turn off the WIFI function in time, which can significantly extend the battery life.
10.1.2 Selecting a Hotspot and Entering a Password
After selecting the “Near WIFI Hotspot” menu item, the names of all nearby WIFI
hotspots will be listed. At this time, you can browse all WIFI hotspots one by one by using the
left and right buttons, select a hotspot and short press the confirmation button, T6 will prompt
“Please enter password” .
Password characters include punctuation, numbers, lower-case English letters, and upper-
case English letters.
All password characters are completed by repeating the short press of the number keys.
Each number key is assigned a character list. Each time the number key is pressed shortly, T6
will play the number in the list of characters assigned by the number key. The name of the next
character, either short press the confirmation button to complete the input of the character, or
short press the return button to abandon the character, if you press the other number buttons at
this time, the invalid button will be reported.
After the password input is completed, you can press the prompt button to check whether
all the character sequences are correct. If you find any errors, you can press the asterisk button
to delete the wrong characters one by one.
After the password input is completed, press the confirmation button again, T6 will use
the entered password to try to connect to the selected hotspot. If the connection is successful,
T6 will save the connection information of the hotspot so that it can be automatically
connected in the future.
10.1.3 Viewing Connected Hotspots
Each time you successfully connect to a new wireless network hotspot, T6 will
automatically save the connection parameters of the hotspot for the next automatic connection.
Use this menu item to browse all saved hotspot names. Short pressing the asterisk button
during browsing can delete the connection parameters of a hotspot.
10.1.4 Viewing the Local Network Address
Click to report the IP address assigned to the T6 by the server when connecting to the
network and the hardware MAC address of the T6.
10.2 System Date
You can set the three parameters of year, month and day respectively, and you can select
the parameters by the upper and lower buttons, and use the left and right buttons to change the
values of each parameter.
After the setting is completed, press the confirmation button to save, and press the return
button to abandon the modification.
10.3 System Time
You can set the three parameters of hours, minutes and seconds respectively. You can
select the parameters by the upper and lower buttons, and use the left and right buttons to
change the values of each parameter.
After the setting is completed, short press the confirmation button to save, or short press
the return button to abandon the modification.
10.4 Timed Shutdown
This is used to set T6 to automatically shut down after the specified minutes with the
maximum value 240 minutes. After the setting is completed, executing this menu item again
can cancel the previous setting.
10.5 Voice Interface
You can set the two parameters of "interface reading pronunciation person" and "interface
reading speed" respectively.
The meaning of "interface reading pronunciation person" is: T6 operation uses text
reading technology to navigate the operation process. T6 provides multiple pronunciation
people to choose from, with male and female voices, even dialects.
The meaning of "interface reading speed" is: it is used to adjust the speed of T6 for voice
navigation, including a total of 23 speed levels ranging from -2 to 19.
10.6 Idle Shutdown
By default, the system will automatically shut down during use if T6 is idle more than 30
minutes so as to reduce battery consumption. The user can modify this rule by executing the
“idle shutdown” menu item with four options “not enabled”, “10 minutes”, “30 minutes” and
“60 minutes”.
10.7 Automatic Time Announcing
By default, T6 will automatically report the current time at each time point, and the user
can modify this rule by executing the "automatic time anouncing" menu item with three
options “no time announcing”, “half hour” and “hour”.
10.8 Storage Space Information
This is used to check the space usage of the local disk. If the SD card is inserted, you can
also check the space usage of the SD card.
10.9 About This Machine
For the purpose of cheking the system software version number, product serial number,
and manufacturer or dealer’s contacts.
10.10 Version Upgrade
We will upgrade the system software from time to time through the network. Users can
perform the "Version Upgrade" menu to check whether there is a new software version, thus
completing the upgrade of the system software.
11 Annex
11.1 About Battery Life
The T6 battery can be used continuously for about 8 hours after being fully charged. After
the battery is exhausted, it takes about 3 hours to fully charge. T6 will automatically report that
"the battery is full" when it is fully charged.
11.2 Supported File Formats
Many types of file formats are supported by T6.
The formats of DAISY books includes: DAISY books with full audio, DAISY books with
full text, DAISY books with mixed audio and text.
E-book formats include: txt, htm, html, doc, docx, pdf, epub.
The audio file formats include: mp3, wma, wav, aac, ra, m4a, flac, ape, ogg.
Video file formats include: mp4, wmv, avi, rm, rmvb, flv, mpg, mpeg, 3gp, mov.
11.3 Simple Fault Handling

respond to any button operation, it may be caused by the Pause of the T6 system. At
this time, press the power button for more than 8 seconds and the T6 will be forcibly
reset.
B. Mild fever: T6 will have mild fever in case of a long-time work, which is a normal
phenomenon.
C. Unable to connect T6 to the computer: please check that the USB cable is compatible
with the T6 and make sure that the computer operating system is working properly.
D. Unable to access the file just copied to inside T6: please restart T6. In order to avoid
such a phenomenon, please make sure to use the “safely remove hardwares” function
to disconnect T6 from the computer after the copy is finished.
E. When charging the battery, T6 cannot be turned on immediately: it is a normal
phenomenon. It is possible that the battery has been completely exhausted. Please try
it again after charging for a few minutes.
F. The battery life is getting shorter and shorter: as the number of charge and discharge
of lithium batteries increases, the effective capacity of the battery will gradually
