Emilio Bergamin – a temperamental and un-

conventional man from Milan, an individualist

overflowing with creative ideas, and a lover

of charming detail. He succeeds in expres-

sing his own vitality in porcelain design, and

– through his creations – he speaks to the

individual inside every observer.

Bergamin’s passionate creativity thus meets

people’s need for something special. Taitù –

named after the extravagant, luxury loving

Ethiopian queen; this essentially translates

to:

I am colour, I am light, I am beauty, I am free-

dom.

Taitù provides the acquirer immense scope

for table decoration that is both creative and

adaptable to individual preferences. The coll-

ections can be largely inter-combined. The

porcelain is elegant, functional and uniquely

radiant. An explosion of colour that leaves

the observer transfixed.

extravaganten, den Luxus liebenden äthio-

Taitù lässt dem Käufer viel Raum für eine

kreative und den individuellen Gegebenhei-

Dieci ist eine sehr spezielle Serie von Emilio

Bergamin. Hier beeindrucken nicht wie sonst

üblich florale Abbildungen, sondern verschieden

große Puzzleteile in leuchtenden Farben. Dieci

wurde in die Kollektion des Museum of Modern Art

in New York aufgenommen. Das Museum ist eine

der weltweit bedeutendsten und einflussreichsten

Sammlungen moderner und zeitgenössischer

Dieci is a very special series conceptualised by

Emilio Bergamin. What is impressive here is not

the usual floral images but brightly coloured puzzle

pieces in varying sizes. Dieci was incorporated into

the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New

York. The museum holds one of the most significant

and influential collections of modern and contem-

porary art in the world. Which table would decline

being adorned by this famous porcelain?

Emilio Bergamin was inspired by the depths of

the ocean when conceptualising his seven-piece

series, Mare. Red groves of coral are the basic ele-

ments common to all pieces in the series. Mussels,

tropical fish, seahorses and starfish dart through

them. This bone china porcelain lends a maritime

ambience to the dressed table.
