tecArchitecture combines the hi-tech ambience

of Europe’s architectural landscape with the

creativity of California’s innovative design

culture. It pursues a type of architecture that

is inspired by the structures and processes of

nature, shaping tomorrow’s environment into an

of the information age with creativity and new

tec ARCHITECTURE specializes in large-scale

hi-tech projects, such as science and technology

parks, hospitality, but also offers services rang-

ing from urban design and planning, commercial

and retail development, to residential and

interior design.

tecARCHITECTURE has always put exceptional

weight on Eco- Friendliness and Sustainablity of

their projects.

Since its start in 2000, tec ARCHITECTURE has

designed and completed various commercial and

industrial projects, ranging from U$ 20 mill. To

U$ 650mill.

tec ARCHITECTURE also offers a full range of

engineering, construction administration and

financial consulting services by cooperating

with international world-class companies.

tec’s designers have won various national and

international awards by merging state of the art

design solutions with anticipated international

因此重新演绎玻璃幕墙的设计。设计团队探讨如何引用科技技术，在现代化的背景下，营造传统特色和加

入大自然元素。由于高科技生产及工程建筑设施并无‘格式塔’的特定风格，设计方案为办公大楼塑造独

特的表达方式；例如以数百种不同形状和色调，构成枝叶和涟漪等繁复而细密的自然元素。设计也采用了

最新的玻璃印刷技术，构成细致的印刷玻璃组合，以及配合结构玻璃和玻璃幕墙系统，打造一栋具独特风

格，同时融入当地文化特色的建筑体。与透明的办公大楼形成对比，相连加工设施的外墙则以达达派瓷砖

“THERE IS NO ICONOGRAPHIC NOTIONFOR THE ‘GESTALT’ OF HI-TECH PRO-DUCTION AND ENGINEERING FACILITIES”

In the case of the Inotera Headquarters in Taipei this is achieved by infusing hi-tech requirements

with emotional content. The all glass façade, typical for standard office buildings, is reinterpreted

in light of Taiwan’s tradition of tile construction. Technology is thus explored in order to emulate

cultural values and environmental aspects within a contemporary context. As there is no iconographic

notion for the ‘Gestalt’ of hi-tech production and engineering facilities, the office building allows for

its own expression; hundreds of shapes and colors portrait the formal complexity of natural elements

such as the leaves of trees or ripples of water. An intricate assemblage of printed glass utilizing the

latest glass printing technologies, structural glass and glass curtain wall systems, articulates a

building that seeks to define its unique identity while assimilating local customs. In contrast to the

transparent office structure, an attached fabrication facility provides a fantastic screen for a dadaesque

ceramic tile composition that dilutes its scale by use of perspective geometries.

Inotera Headquarters in Taipei combined with

a fabrication facility aims at creating a sense of

identification, persona, and location for a new

joint venture between a European and an Asian

company. The structure’s working title “the

culture lab” emphasizes its role in making the

most of cultural differences while evoking the

ambience of a social laboratory.

Such use of new technology exemplifies its

potential in improving our lives economically as

well as aesthetically. This is key to a complex

architectural approach that not only applies

technological innovation but also internalizes it.

位于台北的华亚科技总部大楼和加工设施是欧洲

和亚洲企业的一项合资计划，设计务求为项目打

造鲜明的识别、形象和地表性。建筑暂定名为“

文化实验室”，将突出不同文化之优点，唤起社

The building was completed in a record time of

twelve months including its design. It was built

on a very low budget, comparable to medium

to medium low office building price standards

within the country. The façade utilizes the

latest technologies in CAD and CIM to provide a

colorful , if not romantic image motivated by the

colors of trees and skies.

The extremely tight schedule in connection with

the economically crucial ramp up process of

the factory allowed for zero tolerance in design

deadlines. The building has already been

photographed by world famous architecture

photographer Hisao Suzuki and is currently

starting to be published in various magazines,

such as WA (world architecture) Asia, d&a,

Singapore, l’ARCA, Italy.

companies, characterizes the Spirit of Infineon as a forward-thinking company. The project’s priority

was to create an environment that stimulates and nurtures the thriving of ideas, and to set the frame-

work for pursuing a unique architectural expression. Taking into consideration particular work ethics,

industry dynamism and cultural diversity, the building reflects its specific context by use of unconven-

tional materials, structural interpretations of local architecture and specific ecologic considerations.

In its composition, two organic shaped office towers emerge from a common

public podium. A tensile roof structure transforms the space between

the office towers into a grand, open atrium. This naturally ventilated zone

acts as a climatic buffer, forming a transition between inside and outside.

The building is wrapped with a system of fabric fins that not only shade

the surface but also soften the contour of the building. This combination

of form and texture creates a dynamic and almost mysterious appearance

that stimulates an atmosphere of inspiration and lets the user partake in

the creation of the company’s identity.

The Singapore headquarters manifest Infineon’s venture into the Asia Pacific

market, with the intention to symbolize the new Spirit that characterizes

its establishment as a knowledge driven company. The project’s priority,

creating an environment that stimulates and nurtures the thriving of ideas,

sets the framework for pursuing unconventional architectural expressions.

Taking into consideration the particular work ethic, social tendencies and

cultural preferences, the building reflects its specific context by use of

characteristic materials, structural interpretations of local architecture and

specific ecologic considerations.

Innovative design ideas are combined with low-energy solutions to meet

the complex demands given by developing a sustainable headquarter building

for the hi-tech company Infineon.

两栋形状自然的办公塔楼建于同一个公共裙房，而受拉的屋顶设计将两栋办公

塔楼之间的空间形成豪华，开阔的中庭。该区采用自然通风，亦作分隔室内和

室外空间的气候缓冲区；另外，建筑的布面翼板系统除了提供遮阳，也使建筑

轮廓线显得更加柔和。建筑外形和质感为建筑增添动感，并略带神秘，营造激

发创意灵感的工作环境，同时也让使用者共同创造企业识别。

monastery of the nanometer. The microcosm of people who think in nanometers is being expressed by a Zen-like

Located approximately 15 minutes outside of Palma de Mallorca in an exclusive community called Son

Vida, the eponymously named Casa is an example of design poetry in motion. The completion of this

remarkable home marks the arrival of third millennia architecture on the island of Mallorca. The task at

hand was straightforward: take a very un-extraordinary existing Mediterranean villa constructed in the

60s and transform it into something extraordinary. The 800 m2 luxury villa transgresses the constraints

of site and context, redefining luxury architecture as it is typified by the traditional and prolific Mediter-

ranean and Tuscan styles otherwise found on the island.

siting on a large private plot. The least avant garde of the Platinum Estates villas, thie modern home

is nonetheless a dearture from the typical Mediterranean homes that abound on the island. Traditional

boundaries are blurred in this rectilinear house with spaces flowing seamlessly between indoor and out.

A master suite perches above the infinity pool allowing endless views across the surrounding hill tops.

Structurally a box, this residence is anything but square.

Situated on a prime spot along the Palma de Mallorca bay, this project is more a reinvention than a

renovation. Formerly a non-descript 1960s concrete building with little in the way of memorable traits,

the new structure will be clad in textile sculptures which resemble futuristic seaweed emerging from the

sea below to cover the lower portion of the building. The upper part of the building is clad with more

textiles, softening the previously monolithic structure by providing shade, texture and depth. A dramatic

rooftop infinity pool cascades down the tower, collection on second story platform.

Situated on a prime spot along the Palma de Mallorca bay, this project is more a reinvention than a

renovation. Formerly a non-descript 1960s concrete building with little in the way of memorable traits,

the new structure will be clad in textile sculptures which resemble futuristic seaweed emerging from the

sea below to cover the lower portion of the building. The upper part of the building is clad with more

textiles, softening the previously monolithic structure by providing shade, texture and depth. A dramatic

rooftop infinity pool cascades down the tower, collection on second story platform.

Located in the center of Jing An District of Shanghai, Lot 78 Project is a Masterplanning and Architec-

tural Design Project. The Lot is surrounded by 4 major streets giving it a excellent location for com-

mercial and residential use. Keeping tec’s ecological sensitive approach, the playful façade has planters

and large outdoor balconies integrated in them. The planters provides opportunity for a greening the

façade; the large balconies provides shading from direct heat gain. All the units are minimized in the

horiontal direction, allowing for cross ventilation.

位于上海静安区中央，Lot 78是一个总体规划和建筑设计项目。四条主要街道围绕着项目地

块，让其成为最佳的商务及住宅项目选址。秉承tec 建筑事务所一贯保护生态环境的设计理

念，设计在外墙设置花盆和户外阳台，为外墙增添朝气。花盆有助绿化外墙，而大型的阳台可

提供遮阳，减低直接的热增益。为了确保单位前后通风，设计尽量减低单位的横向建设。
