สารจากผบรหาร“ในฐานะตวแทนภาคธรกจ กระผมรสกยนดทประเทศไทยโดยเฉพาะภาครฐไดผลกดนนโยบาย “เศรษฐกจดจตอล” หรอ “Digital Economy” ใหเปนวาระแหงชาต และกำาลงรางแผนแมบทของเศรษฐกจดจตอลใหกลายเปนรปธรรม เพราะสงนจะชวยในการสรางรากฐานดานเทคโนโลยสารสนเทศ (IT) รวมไปถงการนำาเทคโนโลยสารสนเทศไปใชกบระบบตางๆ ของราชการและภาคธรกจโดยเฉพาะอ - คอมเมรซ สงเหลานจะทำาใหประเทศไทยทมสถานทตงทไดเปรยบเปนจดยทธศาสตรทางเศรษฐกจของโลกกลายเปนศนยกลาง หรอ Hub เพชรนำางามของอาเซยนทจะดงดดการลงทน ธรกจประกอบการ และสรางเมดเงนมหาศาลเมอเปดประชาคมเศรษฐกจอาเซยน (AEC)

การผลกดนประเทศสเศรษฐกจดจตอล สงสำาคญทสดคอการใหความรประชาชนในเรองการประยกตใชเทคโนโลยสารสนเทศอนเปนหวใจของการเพมประสทธภาพระบบเศรษฐกจนรวมถงการบมเพาะนกธรกจหนาใหม (Young Startups) ใหมความรและความมนใจในการประกอบธรกจในเวทอาเซยนและเตบโตไดในเวทโลก ดวยเหตนจงขอแนะนำาศนย C asean ซงมเปาหมายเปนศนยกลางองคความรของภมภาคอาเซยน และตองการประสานความรวมมอทางธรกจ รวมถงการสนบสนนการเรมตนธรกจของคนรนใหม พรอมกบการทำาหนาทเปนศนยกลางการเชอมโยงเรองราวในดานศลปะและวฒนธรรม โดยวสยทศนของ C asean คอ “Collaboration for the Better of ASEAN’s Connectivity” ซงหมายถง “การรวมมอกนเพอการเชอมโยงทดขนของสงคมอาเซยน” โดยภาระกจหลกของ C asean มดวยกน 3 ประการ คอ1. การเปนศนยกลางองคความรของภมภาคอาเซยนโดยทำางานมงเนนเพอประโยชนแกสงคมอาเซยน 2. การเสรมสรางประสทธภาพของเครอขาย (Network) ดวยการจบคพนธมตรทางธรกจ (Business Matching) และ 3. การเปนเวทของคนอาเซยนรนใหม (ASEAN Citizenship) เพอใหไดแสดงศกยภาพไดอยางเตมท C asean จะเปนตวกลางทเชอมทกฝายในอาเซยนเขาหากน ทำาให

Executive Talk“As a representative of business sector, I am delighted that Thailand in particular government has pushed “Digital Economy” policy and made it a national agenda and the organization is now drafting a master to make it tangible. This master plan will help create IT foundation and support the application of IT with public and business sectors’ systems especially E - Commerce. These will make Thailand which has advantages in its world’s economy strategic location become “Hub”: ASEAN’s shiny and flawless diamond that will draw a lot of investment, enterprises, and capital when AEC comes.

Driving the country to Digital Economy, the most important thing is to educate people about IT, a heart of economic system. This includes incubating small to medium sized entrepreneurs to be knowledgeable and confident to do business on ASEAN stage. This is the reason why the center of ASEAN identity sharing or C asean was founded and established. C asean is a hub where there are knowledge, art, culture, education in particular an incubation of business entrepreneurship for Young Startups to do business on ASEAN stage. C asean’s Vision is “Collaboration for the Better of ASEAN’s Connectivity. The 3 Missions are: 1. Being ASEAN’ s center of integrated knowledge 2. Re-inforcing network capability by creating the most suitable “Business Matching” practice and 3. Being a stage for ASEAN young bloods to show their potential. C asean will be Neutral Hub connecting all parties within ASEAN together, making the collaboration tangible and real.

Information Technology (IT) especially basic infrastructure like data center, fiber optic, connectivity, Internet, etc. still has more room for people still need to study and understand in order to benefit business and enhance more efficiency to the country. Techno Society is a good tool to give and share knowledge and experiences directly from IT consumers including knowledge in IT industry. I truly hope you will benefit from this and apply knowledge and benefits to your everyday life and businesses.”

Greetings readersThis is truly a year of Borderless Communication for Thailand and worldwide. For Thailand’s, two things we need to keep an eye on in 2015 are: Digital Economy and ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)

In this Techno Society magazine, you will understand how crucial Digital Economy is. I pick cores of ICT and ITinfrastructure namely 4th Generation of Technology for Mobile Network or 4G including a non-profit organization and the role of cracking country’s Internet shell. There is also story about C asean: Thailand and ASEAN’s hub of integrated knowledge, arts, culture, and technology. This is excellent for Thailand as not only public sector drive Digital Economy to be National Agenda, but also there are many organizations supporting the country.

In addition to Digital Economy and ASEAN Economic Community, we have an article which is a success story of a Thai nationality listed company using IT as a tool to achieve the goal: becoming leader in ASEAN market. At present, it is undeniable that technology

is the most necessary factor for human.

It provides human convenienc in many

ways such as Communication, Education,

Work, Medication, and Public Health.

Technology is rap id ly growing to

continuously support and respond

requi rement o f human leading to

borderless world today. Human can

easi ly communicate regardless of

time, distance, and language. One of

the technologies that is the “Talk of the

Town” in Thailand is Fourth - Generation

Wireless Communication Technology or

4G.

4G Technology that Thailand is currently

using, f irstly, is LTE system that is faster

than 3rd Generation (3G) Technology

for 10 times. Transfer data and multi-

media streaming speed are at least 100

Mbps with maximum speed of 1 Gbps.

Second, Wimax system is Wireless

Broadband that has same standard

with Wi-Fi but it can signal to 40 miles

with speed of 70 Mbps and Highest

speed of 100 Mbps. As a result ,

LTE system is more popular and is

more widespreadly used worldwide,

while Wimax system is used only in

some countries such as Japan, Taiwan,

and Bangladesh, because High speed

Data transmission via Fourth -Generation

(4G) Wireless allows users to send and

receive information of picture, voice,

and all data more and eff iciently. For

example, downloading or watching

H igh - De f i n i t i on v ideo /mov ie ,

Tele - Educationvia cordless telephone,

and medical care in wilderness area,

mak ing access o f in fo rmat ion by

agriculturists, and helping facilitate other

occupations can be made faster with

more capacity. This will subsequently

result in the increase of efficiency of

gadgets such as Mobile phone, Tablet,

and Notebook.

For 4G Wireless Communication Technology

in 2015’s latest movement, Off ice of

t h e N a t i o n a l B r o a d c a s t i n g a n d

Telecommunicat ions Commission

(NBTC) expected to arrange a critical

4G auction after July 17, 2015. NBTC

will organize auction of 1800 MHz

spectrum (2 licenses) and 900 MHz

spectrum (2 licenses). Also, they have

planned to improve radio frequency in

15 areas, which are area 146 - 148 MHz

(Citizens band radio), area 700 MHz,

470 - 510 MHz (improving broadcasting),

a rea 2300 - 2400 MHz ( improv ing

Industrial Management Technology or IMT)

in order to enhance telecom infrastructure,

respond to the government’s policy

agenda to drive the Digital Economy

and develop spectrum of Thailand

to have universal standard. N B T C ’ s

การกาวเขาส “ประชาคมเศรษฐกจอาเซยน” ในปลายป พ.ศ. 2558 ไดสรางความตนตวใหกบประเทศตางๆในอาเซยนไมมากกนอย แนนอนวาประชาคมอาเซยนจะสราง “เบาหลอมทางวฒนธรรม” (Melting Pot) ทจะหลอมรวมเอาความหลากหลายทางวฒนธรรม เชอชาต ศาสนา ภาษา ความถนดเฉพาะดาน การดำารงชวต และการประกอบธรกจเขาดวยกน สงสำาคญทสดทจะใหการหลอมรวมนสำาเรจและเกดขนจรงคอการสรางองคความรระดบอาเซยนใหเกดขน รวมถงตองมการวางโครงสรางพนฐานดานไอททดเพอเชอมโยงประเทศตางๆ ในอาเซยนเขาหากนอกดวยในขณะนประเทศสมาชกอาเซยนตางๆ กำาลงเรงเครองพฒนาเพอเตรยมความพรอมใหกบตนเอง อยางไรกตาม ความเปน “ประชาคมเศรษฐกจอาเซยนทแทจรง” จะไมสามารถเกดข นไดหากแตละประเทศมงพฒนาประเทศของตนเองเพยงอยางเดยว นายนดท วนน C asean (ซ อาเซยน) ศนยรวมองคความรดานธรกจ ศลปะ วฒนธรรมและการบมเพาะ “Young Startups” หรอ “นกธรกจสายเลอดใหม” ไดถอกำาเนดขนแลว ในฉบบน Techno Society ไดมโอกาสพดคยกบ ดร.การด เลยวไพโรจน กบบทบาทใหมในการเปนกรรมการผจดการของ C asean อยางเตมตว และจะไดทราบวา C asean มวสยทศนและพนธกจเพออาเซยนอยางไร

Q: C asean มบทบาทในดานตางๆ ตอประเทศไทย โดยเฉพาะคนรนใหมท ตองการประกอบธรกจแตยงขาดประสบการณ ความร และเงนลงทนอยางไรบาง?ดร.การด: “วสยทศนของ C asean คอ “Collabaration for the Better of ASEAN’s Connectivity” เราจะเปนพนทแหงความรวมมอเพอการเชอมโยงในภมภาคทดขน เรามองถงกลมคนทเปนตวผลกดนอนาคตนนคอกลมคนรนใหมทมพลงและกลมผประกอบการรนใหมทจะเปนเครองจกรสำาคญใหอาเซยนเตบโตไปขางหนา และเปาหมายของ C asean คอการเปน “Hub of ASEAN Entrepreneurs” หรอการเปนศนยกลางของผประกอบการรนใหมของอาเซยน แมจะเรมตนจากพนทของศนยทตงอยประเทศไทย แตวสยทศนและขอบเขตของการทำางานอยในระดบอาเซยนตงแตเรมตน เราตองการใหศนยนเปน “Networking Platform” โดยเนนไปท “Young Startups” หรอผประกอบการมอใหมทอายนอย คนกลมนจะเปนอนาคตของอาเซยนและจะเปนตวขบเคลอนใหภมภาคนเตบโตตอไป อกประการหนงคอ ณ ขณะนภาครฐเองไดใหการสนบสนนธรกจขนาดเลกและขนาดกลาง (SMEs) อยางตอเนอง เราเองในฐานะตวแทนภาคเอกชนมองเหนวามกลมคนซงเลกกวา SMEs เสยอก ทจะมโอกาสเตบโตและมสวนชวยในการพฒนาและขบเคลอนประเทศไทยและภมภาคได คนเหลานมใจอยากทจะรเรมการประกอบธรกจ แตยงไมม Idea ดงนนหนาทของเราคอการสราง ASEAN และ Global Vision ใหกบผประกอบการเหลานตงแตเรมตน นายนดทขณะนมผรวมสนบสนนผประกอบการเหลานมากมายทงภาครฐและเอกชนซงเรากถอวาเปนผรวมกอตง C asean ไปพรอมๆ กนคะ”

Q: “DNA ของ C asean” คออะไร? ดร.การด: “สงทจะบอกถง DNA ของ C asean ไดอยางชดเจนคอโลโกคะ ตวโลโกของ C asean จะประกอบดวยคำาวา Business (ธรกจ), Arts (ศลปะ), และ Culture (วฒนธรรม) อย คำาเหลานบงบอกความเปน C asean ไดเปนอยางด จากการทำาวจยเราพบวาหากเราจบมอกนเพอธรกจหรอเพอการคาอยางเดยว สดทายแลวเรากจะไปไมรอด สงทเหลออยคอการแขงขนกนเองของประเทศสมาชกในอาเซยน สงนไมใชเปาหมายของการเปนประชาคมอาเซยนคะ เปาหมายของเราคอการโตไปพรอมๆ กนและในขณะเดยวกนสราง “ASEAN Citizenship” หรอความเปนพลเมองของอาเซยนดวย เราตองประกอบธรกจไปพรอมกบมความเขาใจในศลปะและวฒนธรรมของอาเซยน จะขาดสงใดสงหนงไมไดคะ”

ศลปะและวฒนธรรมของอาเซยน จะขาดสงใดสงหนงไมไดคะ”

Q: หากมการเปดประชาคมอาเซยนในปลายป พ.ศ. 2558 แลว ทศทางของผประกอบการมอใหม (Startups) จะเปนอยางไร?ดร.การด: “จากการทำา Mini Survey ของ C asean พบวาสำาหรบผประกอบการมอใหมในประเทศไทยมแนวคดเชงบวกตอประชาคมเศรษฐกจอาเซยน แตผประกอบการเหลานยงไมมแผนการตอยอดธรกจหรอการใชประโยชนทรพยากรหรอสงทมอยในภมภาค ในขณะทผประกอบการมอใหมในประเทศสงคโปรจะมความเหนทแตกตางออกไป ดวยขนาดของประเทศทคอนขางเลกและทรพยากรทมอยอยางจำากด ผประกอบการเหลานจงมกรอบความคด (Mentality) หรอวสยทศนในระดบภมภาคตงแตเรมประกอบธรกจ กลาวคอตองคดวเคราะหวาจะนำาทรพยากรจากทใดมาใชประโยชน หรอแมแตมองหาสถานทประกอบธรกจในตางประเทศ การมความกลาในการกาวออกนอกประเทศมาสระดบภมภาคหรอโลกจงไมใชปญหา อกกลมหนงทนาสนใจคอประเทศมาเลเซย พวกเขามความพรอมทางดานดจตอล แต DNA ของการประกอบธรกจ (ดานความพรอมและความสามารถ) ยงถอไดวาเปนรองประเทศไทย ในขณะทเวยดนามมคนอยากเปนผประกอบการเปนจำานวนมากแตไมมใครรเรมทจะทำาเนองจากกลวในความเสยงทจะเกดขน จงชอบทจะเปนลกจางมากกวา”

Q: C asean ใหบรการในรปแบบใด และอยางไรบาง?ดร.การด: “เราพยายามเนนให C asean เปน “Networking Platform” ใหมากทสด โดยตกรอบหรอกฎเกณฑใหนอยทสด สำาหรบผประกอบการมอใหมแลวเราอยากสราง C asean ใหเปนศนยรวมกจกรรมทมความตอเนอง โดยโครงการทเปนตวชโรงสำาหรบปนคอ 1. Startup Runway และ 2. Q: ในสวนของเทคโนโลย C asean ไดนำาเทคโนโลยใดบางมาใชเปนตวขบเคลอน C asean?ดร.การด: “C asean เลงเหนถงชวตสมยใหมกบการนำาเอา Technology มาใชจนกลายเปนสวนหนงของชวตประจำาวนไปแลว จงไดออกแบบ C asean เพอตอบสนอง Lifestyle ของคนในยคดจตอล โดยเฉพาะในยคเศรษฐกจดจตอลทรฐบาลใหความสำาคญกบไอทเปนอยางมาก เราม E - Library หรอหองสมดออนไลน เราม Solar Cell ทชวยในการผลตไฟฟาภายในศนย และใช QR Code ในการเชอมตอเขาสวนตางๆ ภายใน C asean สำาหรบอนเทอรเนต C asean จะนำารองดวย Wifi ทเรวทสดในประเทศไทย รวมไปถงโครงสรางพนฐานดานไอทอนๆ ภายใน C asean ดวย ซงทงหมดนเราไดรบการสนบสนนจากทซซ เทคโนโลย (TCCT) เรยกไดวาเราพยายามนำาเทคโนโลยเขามาใชภายในศนยเพอตอบสนองวถชวตของคนรนใหมเพอใหงายและสะดวกขน”

Q: มความรสกและความประทบใจกบบทบาทใหมในฐานะผบรหาร C asean อยางไรบาง?ดร.การด: “เปนบทบาททสนกมากคะและดฉนเองกยงหลงรกกบงานนอยทกวน จากการเปนอาจารยประจำาสอนดาน Service Innovation,Lean Manufacturing และวจยดานอาเซยนมาเปนเวลานาน มาในวนน ไดมโอกาสทดลองทฤษฎทกอยางท ไดสอนมาคะ เราเอาทฤษฎวางเอาไว แลวมาลงภาคปฏบต ถาอนไหนใชไดเราจะนำามาใชจรง ถอไดวาไดบรรล Main Objective ของดฉนเองซงกคอ “การไดชวยเหลอสงคมใหดขนและฉลาดขน” โดยการสรางนวตกรรมใหมซงกคอ C asean พนทแหงการเรยนร สวนบทบาทอนๆ อาทการสรปขาวเศรษฐกจรายวนในชวงเยนและการทำาสารคดเร องอาเซยนกยงทำาอยตามปกต เนองจากคดวาการทำาอะไรกตามจะทำาใหเราไดเรยนรส งใหมๆ อยเสมอ เปนการเปดประสบการณใหตวเองไดเปนอยางดคะ”

“ASEAN’s University of Life”, Center of Arts, Business, Creating Young Blood “ASEAN DNA Entrepreneurs” for a Complete ASEAN Ecosystem

The transition to “ASEAN Economic Community” at the end of 2015 has more or less alerted many countries in ASEAN. It is out of the question that this will create “Melting Pot Community” which combines a diversity of culture, ethnicity, religion, language, specialization, living, and entrepreneurship together. The most important thing to lead to the successful Melting Pot is to create ASEAN level of integrated knowledge including building good foundation of IT to connect countries in ASEAN together.Currently ASEAN members are expediting to develop and prepare themselves. Nevertheless, the true “ASEAN Economic Community”cannot be made possible if each country aims at developing only its own one. Gladly today C asean, center of integrated knowledgeof business, arts, culture, and “Young Startups” or “Young Blood Entrepreneurs” incubation was born. In this Techno Society magazine, we have an opportunity to talk to Dr. Karndee Leopairote with her new role: Managing Director of C asean. You will find out what C asean’s vision and mission are.

Q: What are C asean’s role in Thailand in particular for Young Generations who want to do business but still lack in experiences, knowledge, and budget?Dr. Karndee: “C asean’s vision is “Collaboration for the Better of ASEAN’s Connectivity”. We will be area of collaboration for a better regional connectivity. We see powerful young bloods and young entrepreneurs who will be important machine to steer ASEAN to grow. C asean’s goal is being “Hub of ASEAN Entrepreneurs” or Center of Young Blood Entrepreneurs in ASEAN. Although starting from the location in Thailand, its vision and scope of work are initially set in ASEAN level. We want this center to be “Networking Platform”, emphasizing on “Young Startups” or Young Aged Amateur Entrepreneurs. This group of people will be the future of ASEAN and drive this region to grow. Furthermore, at the moment the government has been continuously supporting SMEs. As representative of private sector, we can see that there are people who are even smaller than SMEs and have a chance to grow and can help develop and move country and region forward. They aspire to start up business but still lack in idea. Therefore it is our responsibility to build ASEAN and Global Visions for them since the beginning stage. It is great that today we have many supporters from both public and private sectors and we also consider them as C asean Founders who will develop C asean along with us.”

Q: Q: What is “DNA of ASEAN”? Dr. Karndee: “What clearly signifies DNA of C asean is its logo. It consists of the words “Business”, “Arts”, and “Culture” and they well represent C asean. From the survey, it is found that if we collaborate merely for business or for commercial purpose, in the end we cannot survive. What will remain is the competition among each of us in ASEAN. This is not our goal of being ASEAN. Instead, it is how we grow together and at the same time build “ASEAN Citizenship”. We must run business while comprehending both arts and culture of ASEAN.”

Q: After the coming of ASEAN Economic Community at the end of 2015, what will be the direction for Startups?Dr. Karndee: “From a survey conducted by C asean, it is found that young entrepreneurs in Thailand have positive thinking towards AEC. However they still do not know how to extend their business plan nor utilize existing resources within the region. Meanwhile those in Singapore hold different point of view. With a rather small country and limited resources, they have regional level mentality or vision at the beginning stage i.e. analyzing where they can bring and utilize the resources or even looking for business location abroad. As a result having courage to go out of the country to the region or world is not a problem. Another interesting group is Malaysia. In digital field they are prompted however business DNA (readiness and capability) is still after Thailand whereas in Vietnam there are many who aspire to be entrepreneurs but they are not initiators as there is fear of risk. Thereby they prefer to be employees.”

Q: What are C asean’s service provisionings?Dr. Karndee: “We try to portray C asean as “Networking Platform” by having least rules and regulations. For young blood entrepreneurs, we want to make C asean a center of continuous activities. Our highlighted projects for this year are 1. Startup Runway and 2. C asean Acedemy. For the former project, the concept “Think - able, Do - able, and Commercializable” means we will call those young bloods with idea to share and exchange (Think - able) with experts from worldwide as mentors. Interesting idea will be selected and transformed (Do - able) for a “Commercializable” business either the budget is via Funding, Venture Capital, or Crowd Funding. The latter project C asean Academy is to build “University of Life”: an area of teaching and learning by startups themselves who have knowledge and progressive idea to create integrated knowledge. We will have School of Language for persons who want to learn different languages including English and ones in ASEAN. We have communicated with embassies to offer Coaching, emphasizing on real usage. Furthermore we have School of Entrepreneurship, a stage for entrepreneurs to share and exchange idea. This school will not contain Classroom but will be Workshop focusing on practicality. Thailand has many smart devices waiting to be commercialized or transformed into money. For us, we have collaborated with universities starting from Thailand with Bangkok University as pilot project.”

Q: What technology does C asean apply within this center?Dr. Karndee: “C asean perceives the modern lifestyle and the application of technology within everyday life therefore designed C asean to fulfill people’s life in Digital Age. With special attention to Digital Economy which the government focuses on IT, C asean offers E - Library or online library, Solar Cell which helps produce electricity in the center, and we will also pilot the highest speed Wifi in Thailand. This also includes other IT infrastructure in C asean. All of these are supported by TCC Technology (TCCT). We utilized technologies in this center to serve young generation’s lifestyle to be easier and more convenient.”

Q: What are your feelings and impression on being C asean executive?Dr. Karndee: “It is such a delightful role and I am in love with this job everyday. From being a lecturer of Service Innovation, Lean Manufacturing, and Research of ASEAN for a long time, today I have an opportunity to do experiment on every theory taught. I put down these theories and do the field works. What we can practically use is considered an achievement of my Main Objective: “Helping Society to be Better and Smarter” by creating new innovation which is C asean: a learning center. For my other roles such as wrapping up economic news in the evening and doing ASEAN documentary, they are run as usual. This is because doing things makes me always learn. It is a good way to be open to new experiences.”

Difference as a ChallengeDr. Karndee continued, “Different entrepreneurial identity of each country can lead to “Equilibrium” and complete “Ecosystem” which are C asean’s target of bringing “Strength” in ASEAN supply chain to utilize and “Fulfill” each other. For example, Viet-nam is good at Engineer Software Coding and Thailand is good at Commercializing and Digital Marketing. Hence, the busi-ness can be in form of Multi-National Company i.e. one company can consist of a diversity of skillful persons and ethnicities.”

With the push of “Digital Economy” to become “National Agenda”, Thailand has to ensure that before applying this framework of economy, “Internet”, a heart of this economy must have solid and firmed foundation. This will lead to a complete transition to the Digital World for Thailand.  Thailand and Its Step towards “Digital Economy”Digital Economy is an economy with all economic activities including transactions starting from Upstream, Midstream, to Downstream which involve all parties via Information Communication Technology (ICT). The reason “ICT” is selected as a “State-of-the-Art Tool” to drive and produce a perfect Digital Economy is that ICT is related with people’s everyday life in almost every way such as education, society, economy, occupation, politics, lifestyle, etc. For business section, it is well aware that ICT provides convenience, saves time, and manages Transaction Cost to smartly making economic transactions. In one year ICT can be applied for better efficiency and reduce a large amount of money for organizations especially Multi-National Corporations (MNCs) with branches in many countries worldwide. Therefore if applying ICT with country’s entire economic system, many benefits will be gained.

BKNIX’s Missions are:• Strengthening the Thai Internet infrastructure by becoming Hub to allow independent Traffic of data, picture, and voice via content providers, network providers, and carriers. Creating free market where users will have “Freedom of Choices” will lead to competition in terms of quality and price. Thus users will be provided high quality Internet with reasonable price.• Amplifying Internet speed, reducing unnecessary investment on IT infrastructure, and escalating Traffic capability. Neutral Internet Exchange Point established by BKNIX will become “Hub” of Internet and traffic exchange point for Thailand. This will create influx of Traffic domestically and ultimately link to other countries in ASEAN and the region. IXP will boost efficiency and convenience in doing business and help expand business operations including communication as there will be large bandwidth high speed Internet with high quality that comes with reasonable price. People’s quality of life in the country will be uplifted in particular when AEC arrives. Good quality, high speed Internet with reasonable price has to come from decent IT infrastructure which consists of excellent data centers and connectivity. BKNIX’s mission on leveraging Internet standard in Thailand to reach global level and the aim for Thailand to become ASEAN Hub is in line with TCC Technology (TCCT)’s mission of Regional Carrier Neutral Data Center and Connectivity Hub. TCCT Organized “Share the Smile, Giving Happy Meal” to become part to Share Happiness for Needy ChildrenFebruary 20, 2015 – T.C.C. Technology Co., Ltd. (TCCT) emphasizes on supporting all employees in the organization is aware of the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility, therefore organized “Share the Smile, Giving Happy Meal” to needy children at Pakkredbabieshome, Nonthaburi. Objective of this event is to encourage needy children. In this occasion, TCCT along with customers such as SE - ED Book, Nation Multimedia Group,  and Bhumirajanakarindra Kidney Institute Hospital donated money and necessary things to this foster home including luncheon provided for children.

TCC Technology Joined Official Launch of BKNIX and the Emergence of “Thailand’s First Neutral National Internet Exchange Point”February 2015, Bangkok – Recently TCC Technology (TCCT), Thailand’s Leading Data Center and IT Infrastructure Services Provider as a representative from private sector joined the official launch of Bangkok Neutral Internet Exchange (BKNIX) led by Mr. Voradis Vinyaratn, Executive Director and Acting Managing Director of TCC Technology. BKNIX is the first Neutral Internet Exchange Point in Thailand. Within this event, Dr. Gothom Arya, Chairman of THNICF made an opening speech. Many representatives from public and private sectors such as Ministry of ICT, NBTC, NECTEC, Google, Alcatel, etc. also joined force within this event.BKNIX (Bangkok Neutral Internet Exchange) is “Thailand’s First Neutral Internet Exchange Point” (IXP) using world class technology to create “World of Convergence”; a world that is interconnected on economy, education, society, knowledge, people, young startups, businesses, etc. by Internet. This new Exchange Point clusters the largest group of ISPs both domestic and international within Great Mekong region. Therefore this improved Internet with more access channels at lower costs will be a Key Success Factor for users in Thailand and country to transform to Digital Economy. TCCT is proud to be part of developing country’s Internet with our data center that can extend BKNIX’s neutral service provisionings.
