Laboratóriumi körülmények között, standardizált ökotoxikológiai
tesztekkel vizsgálni lehet, hogy milyen hatással van az egyes szennyezett folyószakaszok
vízminősége a vízi élettérben fejlődő
növényi szervezetek (pl. békalencse) sajátos életműködési paramétereire (pl. szaporodási rátára, bioproduktivitásra,

A begyűjtött vízmintákban fejlődő
növényi tesztszervezetek (pl. mikroalgák) számos életműködési indikátora (pl. az indukált klorofill-fluoreszcencia

(pl. antioxidáns védőanyagok szintváltozása) érzékenyen jelzi a vízminőség változásának

Mureş
/ Maros River
The use of river resources may directly affect the macrozoobenthos. The riverbed was deepened by 1.5-2 m at several areas due to the
unregulated gravel extraction. As a result, freatic water freely runs into the rivers.
Riverbed gravel extraction is wide-spread on the Transylvanian rivers.
