As we approach the celebration of the Resur- rection of Jesus we also enter a new sermon series on the family. Beginning on April 1, Palm Sunday, we will take a look at “A Mother’s Struggle” from the life of Mary, the mother of Jesus. All mothers struggle from time to time in raising their children and many lessons can be learned from Mary. On Resurrection Sunday, April 8, we will look at “A Father’s Love” from the standpoint of the Father in Heaven, God Himself. God’s love for us far exceeds the love of any earthly father but there are some similarities. We will exam- ine those and apply them to our lives and see that the Father’s love for us was expressed in His Son and the sacrifice made for us to have eternal life. Be sure and invite someone to come with you to hear these two messages. They will be life changers. Fred DONATE FROM YOUR SMART PHONE! We need both golfers and sponsors.Consider recruiting a 4-man team fromyour Sunday school class, workplace, orneighborhood and joining us. The regis-tration fee of only $75 provides for greenfees and carts, lunch, door prizes, and agenerous contribution directly to LCM.Businesses can be introduced to our par-ticipants by being “Hole Sponsors” for aslittle as $100. The organizers are all vol-unteers so 100% sponsorship supportgoes directly to LCM. Door prizes are alsoneeded.
