1) INTRODUCTION

28:56: O Prophet (Muhammad s.a.w.) you cannot give guidance to whom you wish, it is Allah Who gives guidance to whom He pleases, and He isquite aware of those who are guided.

57.Those who do not wish to be guided say: If we go along with you and accept this guidance, we shall be driven out from our land. But have Wenot given them a secure sanctuary to which are brought the fruits of all kinds as a provision from Us? But most of them (pretend) to not

know..58.And (thus see) how many a populations have We (Allah) Destroyed that exulted in their life of ease and plenty? Now these habitations of theirs, after them

are deserted, all but a miserable few. And it is We who were the inheritors.59. Nor was your Lord, the One to Destroy a population, until He had Sent to its Centre an Apostle (Messenger) rehearsing to them Our verses (Signs). And

We would not have destroyed the population except when its members were wrongdoers. [28 QaSaS:56-59] ..17:16: When We decide to destroy a population, We (first) send a definite order to those among them who are given the good things o f this life

and yet transgress; so that the word is proved true against them: then (it is) We destroy them utterly.17:How many generations have We destroyed after Noah? And enough is thy Lord to note and see the sins of His servants.18:If any do wish for the transitory

things (of this life), We readily grant them - such things as We will, to such person as We will: in the end have We provided Hell for them: they will burntherein, disgraced and rejected. 19. Those who do wish for the (things of) the Hereafter, and strive therefore with all due striving, and have Faith,- they

are the ones whose striving is acceptable (to Allah). 20. Of the bounties of thy Lord We bestow freely on all- These as well as those: The bounties of thyLord are not closed (to anyone).

21.See how We have bestowed more on some than on others; but verily the Hereafter is more in rank and gradation and more in excellence.22.Take not with Allah another object of worship; or you (O man!) will sit in disgrace and destitution. [17 al Isra: 16-22]

Il connat mieux cependant les bien-guids.57: Et ils dirent: Si nous suivons avec toi la bonne voie, on nous arrachera de notre terre. - Ne les avons-Nous pas tablis dans une enceinte sacre, sre,

vers laquelle des produits de toute sorte sont apports comme attribution de Notre part? Mais la plupart d'entre eux ne savent pas.58.Et combien avons-Nous fait prir de cits qui taient ingrates (alors que leurs habitants vivaient dans l'abondance), et voil qu'aprs eux leurs demeures ne

sont que trs peu habites, et c'est Nous qui en fmes l'hritier. 59.Ton Seigneur ne fait pas prir des cits avant d'avoir envoy dans leur mtropole unMessager pour leur rciter Nos versets. Et Nous ne faisons prir les cits que lorsque leurs habitants sont injustes.

17:16.Et quand Nous voulons dtruire une cit, Nous ordonnons ses gens opulents [d'obir Nos prescriptions], mais (au contraire) ils se livrent laperversit. Alors la Parole prononce contre elle se ralise, et Nous la dtruisons entirement.17Que de gnrations avons-nous extermines, aprs No!

Et ton Seigneur suffit qu'Il soit Parfaitement Connaisseur et Clairvoyant sur les pchs de Ses serviteurs.18: Quiconque dsire [la vie] immdiate, Nousnous htons de donner ce que Nous voulons, qui Nous voulons. Puis, Nous lui assignons l'Enfer o il brlera mpris et repouss.19: Et ceux quirecherchent l'au-del et fournissent les efforts qui y mnent, tout en tant croyants... alors l'effort de ceux-l sera reconnu.20: Nous accordonsabondamment tous, ceux-ci comme ceux-l, des dons de ton Seigneur. Et les dons de ton Seigneur ne sont refuss [ personne].21: Regarde commentNous favorisons certains sur d'autres. Et dans l'au-del, il y a des rangs plus levs et plus privilgis 22: N'assigne point Allah d'autre divinit; sinon tute trouveras mpris et abandonn.

28:56: Gewi, du kannst nicht rechtleiten, wen du gern (rechtgeleitet sehen) mchtest. Allah aber leitet recht, wen Er will. Er kennt sehr wohl dieRechtgeleiteten.Russian

57: Und sie sagen: "Wenn wir der Rechtleitung mit dir folgen, werden wir von unserem Land fortgerissen." Haben Wir ihnen denn nicht eine feste Stellung ineinem sicheren geschtzten Bezirk verliehen, zu dem die Frchte jeder Art zusammengetragen werden als Versorgung von Uns aus? Aber die meistenvon ihnen wissen nicht.

58. Und wie (so) manche Stadt, die sich bermtig ihres Lebensunterhaltes erfreute, haben Wir vernichtet! Da sind nun ihre Wohnorte, die nach ihnen nicht

mehr bewohnt wurden, bis auf wenige. Und Wir sind es, die Erben (all dessen) geworden sind.59. Und dein Herr htte nimmer die Stdte vernichtet, bevor Er nicht in ihrem Mittelpunkt einen Gesandten htte erstehen lassen, der ihnen Unsere Zeichenverliest. Und Wir htten die Stdte nimmer vernichtet, wenn ihre Bewohner nicht ungerecht gewesen wren.

17:16:Und wenn Wir eine Stadt vernichten wollen, befehlen Wir denjenigen, die in ihr ppig leben (, zu freveln), und dann freveln sie in ihr. So bewahrheitet sichdas Wort gegen sie, und dann zerstren Wir sie vollstndig. 17 Wie viele Geschlechter nach Nuh haben Wir vernichtet! Und es gengt, da dein Herr dieSnden Seiner Diener wohl kennt und sieht.18:Wer immer das schnell Eintreffende will, dem gewhren Wir darin schnell, was Wir wollen - demjenigen,den Wir wollen; hierauf haben Wir fr ihn die Hlle bestimmt, der er ausgesetzt sein wird, mit Vorwrfen behaftet und verstoen.19: Wer das Jenseits willund sich darum bemht, wie es ihm zusteht, wobei er glubig ist, - denen wird fr ihr Bemhen gedankt.20: Sie alle, diese und jene, untersttzen Wir mitetwas von der Gabe deines Herrn. Und die Gabe deines Herrn wird nicht verwehrt. 21: Schau, wie Wir die einen von ihnen vor den anderen auszeichnen;aber das Jenseits ist wahrlich grer an Rangstufen und grer an Auszeichnungen.22 Setze neben Allah keinen anderen Gott, sonst wirst du gescholtenund im Stich gelassen dasitzen

2).The People of Noah

25:37: And the people of NOAH - when they denied the Messengers, We drowned them, and We made them for mankind asign. And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment. [25 Furqan:37]

9:70: Has there not reached them the news of those before them - the people of Noah and [the tribes of] 'Aad and Thamud andthe people of Abraham and the companions of Madyan and the towns overturned?Their messengers came to them

with clear proofs. And Allah would never have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves. [9 Tawbah:70]

23:23: And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity otherthan Him; then will you not fear Him?

24.But the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "This is not but a man like yourselves who wishes to takeprecedence over you; and if Allah had willed [to send a messenger], He would have sent down angels. We have not heard of

this among our forefathers. 25. He is not but a man possessed with madness, so wait concerning him for a time.26. [Noah] said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me.

27.So We inspired to him, "Construct the ship under Our observation, and Our inspiration, and when Our command comes and theoven overflows, put into the ship from each [creature] two mates and your family, except those for whom the decree [of

destruction] has proceeded. And do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be drowned. 28.And when you have boarded the ship, you and those with you, then say, 'Praise to Allah who has saved us form the wrongdoing

people.' 29. And say, 'My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate.' Indeed in thatare signs, and indeed, We are ever testing [23 Muminun: 23-30]

2)peuple de No / Volk Nuhs / 25:37: Et le peuple de No, quand ils eurent dmenti les messagers, Nous les noymes et en fmes pour les gens un signe d'avertissement. Et Nous avons

prpar pour les injustes un chtiment douloureux.9:70: Est-ce que ne leur est pas parvenue l'histoire de ceux qui les ont prcds: le peuple de No, des 'Aad, des Tamd, d'Abraham, des gens de Madyan, et

des Villes renverses? Leurs messagers leur avaient apport des preuves videntes. Ce ne fut pas Allah qui leur fit du tort, mais ils se firent du tort eux-mmes.

23:23: Nous envoymes No vers son peuple. Il dit: O mon peuple, adorez Allah. Vous n'avez pas d'autre divinit en dehors de Lui. Ne [Le] craignez-vouspas? 24: Alors les notables de son peuple qui avaient mcru dirent: Celui-ci n'est qu'un tre humain comme vous voulant se distinguer votre

dtriment. Si Allah avait voulu, ce sont des Anges qu'Il aurait fait descendre. Jamais nous n'avons entendu cela chez nos anctres les plus reculs. 25: Ce

n'est en vrit qu'un homme atteint de folie, observez-le donc durant quelque temps. 26: Il dit: Seigneur! Apporte-moi secours parce qu'ils me traitent dementeur. 27: Nous lui rvlmes: Construis l'arche sous Nos yeux et selon Notre rvlation. Et quand Notre commandement viendra et que le fourbouillonnera, achemine l-dedans un couple de chaque espce, ainsi que ta famille, sauf ceux d'entre eux contre qui la parole a dj t prononce; et ne

t'adresse pas Moi au sujet des injustes, car ils seront fatalement noys. 28: Et lorsque tu seras install, toi et ceux qui sont avec toi, dans l'arche, dis:Louange Allah qui nous a sauvs du peuple des injustes. 29: Et dis: Seigneur, fais-moi dbarquer d'un dbarquement bni. Tu es Celui qui procure

le meilleur dbarquement. 30: Voil bien l des signes. Nous sommes certes Celui qui prouve.

25:37:Und auch das Volk Nuhs, als sie die Gesandten der Lge bezichtigten, lieen Wir ertrinken und machten sie fr die Menschen zu einem Zeichen. Und Wirhaben fr die Ungerechten schmerzhafte Strafe bereitet.

9:70: Ist ihnen nicht die Kunde von denjenigen zugekommen, die vor ihnen waren, des Volkes Nuhs, der 'Ad und der Tamud, des Volkes Ibrahims, derBewohner von Madyan und der umgestrzten Stdte? Ihre Gesandten kamen zu ihnen mit den klaren Beweisen. Nimmer ist es Allah, der ihnen Unrecht

getan hat, sondern sie selbst haben sich Unrecht zugefgt.

23:23: Und Wir sandten bereits Nuh zu seinem Volk. Da sagte er: "O mein Volk, dient Allah. Keinen Gott habt ihr auer Ihm. Wollt ihr denn nicht gottesfrchtigsein? 24: Da sagte die aus seinem Volk fhrende Schar, die unglubig war: "Dieser ist nur ein menschliches Wesen wie ihr, das einen Vorzug euchgegenber haben will. Und wenn Allah gewollt htte, htte Er wahrlich Engel herabgesandt. Wir haben so etwas bei unseren Vorvtern nicht

gehrt.25: Er ist nur ein Mann, der an Besessenheit leidet; so wartet mit ihm fr eine gewisse Zeit ab. 26: Er sagte: "Mein Herr, hilf mir, wo sie mich derLge bezichtigen."27: Da gaben Wir ihm ein: "Verfertige das Schiff vor Unseren Augen und nach Unserer Eingebung. Wenn dann Unser Befehl kommtund der Ofen brodelt, so fhre von jeder (Art) ein Paar und deine Angehrigen hinein, auer gegen wen das Wort vorher ergangen ist. Und sprich Mich

nicht an zugunsten derjenigen, die Unrecht getan haben; sie werden ertrnkt werden. 28: Und wenn du dich nun auf dem Schiff eingerichtet hast, du unddiejenigen, die mit dir sind, dann sag: (Alles) Lob gehrt Allah, Der uns von dem ungerechten Volk errettet hat! 29: Und sag: Mein Herr, gewhre mir einen

gesegneten Abstieg', denn Du bist der Beste derjenigen, die Abstieg gewhren.30: Darin sind wahrlich Zeichen. Wir haben (sie damit) frwahr geprft

3) A People after Noah

31.Then We produced after them a generation of others.32. And We sent among them a Messenger from themselves, [saying], Worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him;

then will you not fear Him?33. And the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in

the worldly life said, This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink.34. And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers.

35. Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]? 36: Howfar, how far, is that which you are promised. 37.Life is not but our worldly life - we die and live, but we will not be resurrected.

38.He is not but a man who has invented a lie about Allah , and we will not believe him.39.He (Messenger) said, My Lord, support me because they have denied me.

40.[ Allah ] said, After a little, they will surely become regretful.41.So the shriek seized them in truth, and We made them as [plant] stubble. 42.Then away with the wrongdoing people.

43.Then We produced after them other generations. No nation will precede its time [of termination], nor will they remain [thereafter].Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, 44.so We

made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations. So away with a people who do notbelieve. [23 Muminun : 31-44]

3) Personnes aprs No / Leute nach Nuhs / 23:31: Puis, aprs eux, Nous avons cr d'autres gnrations, 32: Nous envoymes parmi elles un Messager [issu] d'elles pour leur dire:

Adorez Allah. Vous n'avez pas d'autre divinit en dehors de Lui. Ne le craignez-vous pas? 33: Les notables de son peuple qui avaientmcru et trait de mensonge la rencontre de l'au-del, et auxquels Nous avions accord le luxe dans la vie prsente, dirent: Celui-cin'est qu'un tre humain comme vous, mangeant de ce que vous mangez, et buvant de ce que vous buvez. 34: Si vous obissez un

homme comme vous, vous serez alors perdants. 35: Vous promet-il, quand vous serez morts, et devenus poussire et ossements, quevous serez sortis [de vos spulcres]?

23:36: Loin, loin, ce qu'on vous promet! 37: Ce n'est l que notre vie prsente: nous mourons et nous vivons; et nous ne seronsjamais ressuscits. 38: Ce n'est qu'un homme qui forge un mensonge contre Allah; et nous ne croirons pas en lui. 39: Il dit:Seigneur! Apporte-moi secours parce qu'ils me traitent de menteur. 40: [Allah] dit: Oui, bientt ils en viendront aux

regrets. 41: Le cri, donc, les saisit en toute justice; puis Nous les rendmes semblables des dbris emports par le torrent.Que disparaissent jamais les injustes! 42: Puis aprs eux Nous avons cr d'autres gnrations. 43: Nulle communaut ne

peut avancer ni reculer son terme. 44: Ensuite, Nous envoymes successivement Nos messagers. Chaque fois qu'unmessager se prsentait sa communaut, ils le traitaient de menteur. Et Nous les fmes succder les unes aux autres [dansla destruction], et Nous en fmes des thmes de rcits lgendaires. Que disparaissent jamais les gens qui ne croient pas!

23:31: Hierauf lieen Wir nach ihnen ein anderes Geschlecht entstehen. 32: Dann schickten Wir zu ihnen einen Gesandten von ihnen: "DientAllah! Keinen Gott habt ihr auer Ihm. Wollt ihr denn nicht gottesfrchtig sein? 33: Und die fhrende Schar aus seinem Volk, die

unglubig war und die Begegnung mit dem Jenseits fr Lge erklrte und der Wir im diesseitigen Leben ppigen Wohlstand verliehen

hatten, sagte: "Dieser ist nur ein menschliches Wesen wie ihr, das von dem it, was ihr et, und von dem trinkt, was ihr trinkt. 34: Wennihr einem menschlichen Wesen euresgleichen gehorcht, dann werdet ihr frwahr Verlierer sein. 35: Verspricht er euch etwa, da ihr,wenn ihr gestorben und zu Erde und Knochen geworden seid, (wieder) hervorgebracht werdet?

23:36: Weit, weit entfernt ist das, was euch versprochen wird. 37: Es gibt nur unser diesseitiges Leben: Wir sterben und wir leben,und wir werden nicht auferweckt. 38: Er ist nur ein Mann, der gegen Allah eine Lge ersonnen hat; und wir wollen ihm nichtglauben." 39: Er sagte: "Mein Herr, hilf mir, wo sie mich der Lge bezichtigen." 40: Er sagte: "ber ein kleines werden siewahrlich Reue empfinden." 41: Da ergriff sie zu Recht der Schrei, und so machten Wir sie zu Abschaum. Weg darum mitdem ungerechten Volk! 42: Hierauf lieen Wir nach ihnen andere Geschlechter entstehen. 43: Keine Gemeinschaft kannihrer Frist vorausgehen, noch sie hinausschieben. 44: Hierauf sandten Wir Unsere Gesandten, einen nach dem anderen.

Jedesmal, wenn zu einer Gemeinschaft ihr Gesandter kam, bezichtigten sie ihn der Lge. So lieen Wir die einen von ihnenauf die anderen folgen und machten sie zu(m Gegenstand von) Geschichten. Weg darum mit Leuten, die nicht glauben!

26:123. Aad denied the Messengers.124. When their brotherHUUDsaid to them, Will you not fear Allah?125.Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy Messenger.126.So fear Allah and obey me.127. And I do not ask youfor it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.128. Do you construct on every elevation a

sign, amusing yourselves,129. And take for yourselves palaces and fortresses that you might abideeternally?130. And when you strike, you strike as tyrants.131.So fear Allah and obey me.132. And fear He who provided you with that which you know,133. Provided

you with grazing livestock and children .134. And gardens and springs.135. Indeed, I fear for you thepunishment of a terrible day.

136. They said, It is all the same to us whether you advise or are not of the advisors.137.This is not but thecustom of the former peoples,138. And we are not to be punished.

139.And they denied him, so We destroyed them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to bebelievers. 140. And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful [26 Ash-Shura 123-140]

Seigneur de l'univers. 128: Btissez-vous par frivolit sur chaque colline un monument? 129: Et difiez-vousdes chteaux comme si vous deviez demeurer ternellement? 130: Et quand vous svissez contre quelqu'un,

141.(The tribe of) Thamud denied the Messengers (of Allah) 142. When their brotherSALIH said unto them:Will ye not ward off (evil)? 143.Lo! I am a faithful Messenger unto you, 144.So keep your duty to Allah

and obey me. 145.And I ask of you no wage therefore; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of theWorlds. 146.Will you be left secure in that which is here before us, 147.In gardens and water springs. 148.cornfields and palm-trees laden with juicy fruit, 149.carving your dwellings in the mountains and leading a

happy life? 150.Have fear of Allah and obey me.151.Do not follow the bidding of extravagant, 152.who createcorruption in the land and reform nothing.153.They replied: You are but one of the bewitched! 154.You are no more than a human being like us. Bring forth

a sign if you are one of the truthful.155. Saleh said: Well, here is the she-camel (the sign that you asked for). She shall have her share of water as

you all have yours, each drinking on an alternate appointed day. 156.Do not touch her with evil, lest thepunishment of a dreadful Day may overtake you.

157.Yet they hamstrung her, then became full of regrets; 158.So the punishment overtook them. Surely in

this story there is a great lesson, but most of these people do not learn a lesson and become believers.159.The fact is that your Rabb is the Mighty as well as the Merciful. [26 Ash-Shura:141-159]

That is best for you, if youshould know. 17 You only worship, besides Allah , idols, and you produce over-turned Judgments. Indeed,those you worship besides Allah do not possess for you [the power of] provision. So seek from Allah

provision and worship Him and begrateful to Him. To Him you will be returned.18. And if you [people] deny [themessage] - already nations before you have denied. And there is not upon the Messenger except [the duty of] clearnotification. 19.Have they not considered how Allah begins creation and then repeats it? Indeed that, for Allah , is

easy. ..23. And the ones who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and the meeting with Him - those have despaired of Mymercy, and they will have a painful punishment.24. And the answer of Abraham's people was not but that they said,Kill him or burn him, but Allah saved him from the fire. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe. 25. And

[Abraham] said, "You have only taken, other than Allah , idols as [a bond of] affection among you in worldly life. Then

on the Day of Resurrection you will deny one another and curse one another, and your refuge will be the Fire, andyou will not have any helpers. [29 al Ankabut: 16-19, 23-25]

29:16: Und (Wir sandten) Ibrahim. Als er zu seinem Volk sagte: "Dient Allah und frchtet Ihn. 19: Haben sie denn nicht gesehen, wie Allah die Schpfung am Anfang macht und sie hierauf wiederholt? Gewi, das ist fr Allah ein leichtes23: Diejenigen, die Allahs Zeichen und die Begegnung mit Ihm ableugnen, diese haben die Hoffnung auf Meine Barmherzigkeit aufgegeben, und fr diese

wird es schmerzhafte Strafe geben. 24: Aber die Antwort seines Volkes war nur, da sie sagten: "Ttet ihn oder verbrennt ihn." Da rettete Allah ihn ausdem Feuer. Darin sind wahrlich Zeichen fr Leute, die glauben.25: Und er sagte: "Ihr habt euch ja anstatt Allahs nur Gtzen genommen aus Freundschaftzueinander im diesseitigen Leben. Aber dereinst, am Tag der Auferstehung, werdet ihr einander verleugnen und einander verfluchen. Euer Zufluchtsort ist

das (Hllen)feuer, und ihr werdet keine Helfer haben.

When Abraham said to his father Azar, Do you take idols as gods? Indeed, I see you and your people to be inmanifest error. And thus did We show Abraham the realm of the heavens and the earth that he would be

among the certain [in faith]. [6 al-Anam:74-75]

Have you ever reflected upon the one (King Nimrod), to whom Allah had given him kingdom, who argued with

Abraham about his Lord When Abraham said: My Lord is He Who has power to give life and to cause death.He replied: I too have the power to give life and to cause death.Abraham said: Well, Allah causes the sun to rise from the east; just make it rise from the west. Thus the

unbeliever was confounded;Allah does not guide the evildoers [2 al-Baqarah: 258].

And [then] he said, Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me. My Lord, grant me [achild] from among the righteous. So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy (ISHMAEL-ARAB

LINEAGE). [37 as-Saffaat :99-101]And We (also) gave him (later) ISAAC (as son) and JACOB / ISRAEL (as grandson) and placed in his

descendants (THE TWELVE TRIBES) prophet-hood and scripture. And We gave him his reward in this world,and indeed, he is in the Hereafter among the righteous.[29 al-Ankabut :27]

2:258: Siehst du nicht jenen, der mit Ibrahim ber seinen Herrn stritt, weil Allah ihm die Herrschaft gegeben hatte? (Damals) alsIbrahim sagte: "Mein Herr ist Derjenige, Der lebendig macht und sterben lt." Er sagte: "Ich mache lebendig und lasse

sterben." Ibrahim sagte: "Allah bringt ja die Sonne vom Osten her; so bringe du sie vom Westen her!" Da war derjenige, derunglubig war, verblfft. Und Allah leitet nicht das ungerechte Volk recht.

37:99: Er sagte: "Gewi, ich gehe zu meinem Herrn; Er wird mich rechtleiten. 100: Mein Herr, schenke mir einen von denRechtschaffenen." 101: Da verkndeten Wir ihm einen nachsichtigen Jungen. 29:27: Und Wir schenkten ihm Ishaq und Ya'qubund richteten unter seiner Nachkommenschaft das Prophetentum und die Schrift ein und gaben ihm seinen Lohn im Diesseits.

Und im Jenseits gehrt er frwahr zu den Rechtschaffenen.

So [mention] LOT, when he said to (another of) his people, Indeed, you commit such immorality as no onehas preceded you with from among the worlds. 29. Indeed, you approach men (rather than women) and obstruct the

road and commit in your meetings [every] evil. 30.And the answer of his people was not but they said, Bring us thepunishment of Allah , if you should be of the truthful. He said, My Lord, support me against the corrupting people.34. Indeed, We will bring down on the people of this city punishment from the sky because they have been defiantly

disobedient. 35.And We have certainly left of it a sign as clear evidence for a people who use reason.[29 al Ankabut:26 , 28-30, 34-35]

11: 81. The Angels said: O Lut! We are the Messengers of your Lord. They (sinners) will not be able to harm you. Now, take yourfamily and get out of this town while yet a part of the night remains - and let none of you turn back - except your wife, who

should be left behind. She will face the same fate as they. Their scheduled time of doom is the morning. Is not the morning veryclose?" 82.So when Our command came, We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of

layered hard clay, [which were] 83. Marked from your Lord. And Allah 's punishment is not from the wrongdoers [too] far.

dit son peuple: Vraiment, vous commettez la turpitude o nul dans l'univers ne vous a prcds. 29: Aurez-vouscommerce charnel avec des mles? Pratiquerez-vous le brigandage? Commettrez-vous le blmable dans votreassemble? Mais son peuple ne fit d'autre rponse que: Fais que le chtiment d'Allah nous vienne, si tu es dunombre des vridiques 30: Il dit: Seigneur, donne-moi victoire sur ce peuple de corrupteurs! 34: Nous feronstomber du ciel un chtiment sur les habitants de cette cit, pour leur perversit. 35: Et certainement, Nous avonslaiss (des ruines de cette cit) un signe (d'avertissement) vident pour des gens qui comprennent.

11:81: Alors [les htes] dirent: O Lot, nous sommes vraiment les missaires de ton Seigneur. Ils ne pourront jamaist'atteindre. Pars avec ta famille un moment de la nuit. Et que nul d'entre vous ne se retourne en arrire. Exceptionfaite de ta femme qui sera atteinte par ce qui frappera les autres. Ce qui les menace s'accomplira l'aube. L'auben'est-elle pas proche? .82:Et, lorsque vint Notre ordre, Nous renversmes [la cit] de fond en comble, et fmespleuvoir sur elle en masse, des pierres d'argile succdant les unes aux autres, 83: portant une marque connue de tonSeigneur. Et elles (ces pierres) ne sont pas loin des injustes.

Antwort seines Volkes war nur, da sie sagten: "Bringe uns doch die Strafe Allahs her, wenn du zu den Wahrhaftigengehrst." 30: Er sagte: "Mein Herr, hilf mir gegen das Volk, das Unheil stiftet. 34: Wir werden auf die Bewohnerdieser Stadt eine unheilvolle Strafe vom Himmel herabkommen lassen dafr, da sie gefrevelt haben," 35: Und Wirlieen ja von ihr ein klares Zeichen zurck fr Leute, die begreifen.

11:81: Sie sagten: "O Lut, wir sind die Gesandten deines Herrn. Sie werden nicht zu dir gelangen. So zieh mit deinenAngehrigen in einem Teil der Nacht fort, und niemand von euch soll sich umwenden - auer deiner Frau! Gewi, eswird sie treffen, was jene trifft. Der ihnen versprochene Zeitpunkt ist der Tagesanbruch. Ist nicht der Tagesanbruchschon nahe?"82: Als nun Unser Befehl kam, kehrten Wir das Oberste von ihr zuunterst und lieen auf sie Steine ausvorbereitetem gebrannten Lehm regnen, 83: bei deinem Herrn gekennzeichnete (Steine). Und sie liegt denUngerechten nicht fern.

and weight and do not deprive people of their due and cause not corruption upon the earth after itsreformation. That is better for you, if you should be believers.86. And do not sit on every path, threatening and

averting from the way of Allah those who believe in Him, seeking to make it [seem] deviant. And remember

when you were few and He increased you. And see how was the end of the corrupters.87. And if there shouldbe a group among you who has believed in that with which I have been sent and a group that has notbelieved, then be patient until Allah judges between us. And He is the best of judges."88. Said the eminent

ones who were arrogant among his people, "We will surely evict you, O Shu'ayb, and those who havebelieved with you from our city, or you must return to our religion." He said, "Even if we were unwilling?"

89. We would have invented against Allah a lie if we returned to your religion after Allah had saved us from it. Andit is not for us to return to it except that Allah , our Lord, should will. Our Lord has encompassed all things in

knowledge. Upon Allah we have relied. Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are thebest of those who give decision." [7 al-Araaf85-89]

partie n'a pas cru, patientez donc jusqu' ce qu'Allah juge parmi nous car Il est le Meilleur des juges. 88: Les notables de sonpeuple qui s'enflaient d'orgueil, dirent: Nous t'expulserons certes de notre cit, Chu'ab, toi et ceux qui ont cru avec toi. Ouque vous reveniez notre religion. - Il dit: Est-ce mme quand cela nous rpugne? 89: Certes, nous aurions forg unmensonge contre Allah si nous revenions votre religion aprs qu'Allah nous en a sauvs. Il ne nous appartient pas d'y

retourner moins qu'Allah notre Seigneur ne le veuille. Notre Seigneur embrasse toute chose de Sa science. C'est en Allah quenous plaons notre confiance. O notre Seigneur, tranche par la vrit, entre nous et notre peuple car Tu es le meilleur des

juges.7:85: Und (Wir sandten) zu Madyan ihren Bruder Su'aib. Er sagte: "O mein Volk, dient Allah! Keinen Gott habt ihr auer Ihm. Nun ist

ein klarer Beweis von eurem Herrn zu euch gekommen; so gebt volles Ma und Gewicht und schmlert den Menschen nichtihre Sachen und stiftet auf der Erde nicht Unheil, nachdem sie in Ordnung gebracht worden ist! Das ist besser fr euch, wenn

ihr glubig seid. 86: Und lauert nicht auf jedem Weg, indem ihr droht und von Allahs Weg denjenigen abhaltet, der an Ihn glaubt,und danach trachtet, ihn krumm zu machen. Und gedenkt (der Zeit), als ihr (nur) wenige wart und Er euch dann zu vielenmachte. Und schaut, wie das Ende der Unheilstifter war! 87: Und wenn ein Teil von euch an das glauben sollte, womit ich

gesandt worden bin, ein anderer Teil aber nicht glauben sollte, so geduldet euch, bis Allah zwischen uns richtet. Er ist der Bestederer, die richten."88: Die fhrende Schar, die sich hochmtig verhielt, aus seinem Volk, sagte: "Wir werden dich, o Su'aib, unddiejenigen, die mit dir glauben, ganz gewi aus unserer Stadt vertreiben, oder aber ihr kehrt zu unserem Glaubensbekenntniszurck!" Er sagte: "Was denn, auch wenn es uns zuwider ist? 89: Wir wrden ja gegen Allah eine Lge ersinnen, wenn wir zu

eurem Glaubensbekenntnis zurckkehrten, nachdem Allah uns vor ihr errettet hat. Es steht uns nicht zu, zu ihr zurckzukehren,auer da Allah, unser Herr, (es) wollte. Unser Herr umfat alles mit (Seinem) Wissen. Auf Allah verlassen wir uns. Unser Herr,

entscheide zwischen uns und unserem Volk der Wahrheit entsprechend! Du bist ja der beste Entscheider."7:85: . : ! ,

7:90Said the eminent ones who disbelieved among his people, If you should follow Shu'ayb, indeed, you wouldthen be losers. 91.So the earthquake seized them, and they became within their home [corpses] fallen prone.92.Those who denied Shu'ayb - it was as though they had never resided there. Those who denied Shu'ayb - it

was they who were the losers. 93.And he turned away from them and said, "O my people, I had certainlyconveyed to you the messages of my Lord and advised you, so how could I grieve for a disbelieving people?

94. And We sent to no city a prophet [who was denied] except that We seized its people with poverty and hardshipthat they might humble themselves [to Allah ].95. Then We exchanged in place of the bad [condition], good,

until they increased [and prospered] and said, "Our fathers [also] were touched with hardship and ease." SoWe seized them suddenly while they did not perceive.96. And if only the people of the cities had believed and

feared Allah , We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied[the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning.

101. Those cities - We relate to you, [O Muhammad], some of their news. And certainly did their messengerscome to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe in that which they had denied before. Thus doesAllah seal over the hearts of the disbelievers.102. And We did not find for most of them any covenant; but

indeed, We found most of them defiantly disobedient. [7 al-Araaf90-96,101-102]

Ceux qui traitaient Chu'ab de menteur furent eux les perdants. 93: Il se dtourna d'eux et dit: O monpeuple, je vous ai bien communiqu les messages de mon Seigneur et donn des conseils. Comment donc m'attristerais-je sur des gensmcrants? 94: Nous n'avons envoy aucun prophte dans une cit, sans que Nous n'ayons pris ses habitants ensuite par l'adversit et

la dtresse afin qu'ils implorent ( le pardon). 95: Puis Nous avons chang leur mauvaise condition en y substituant le bien, au point qu'ayantgrandi en nombre et en richesse, ils dirent: La dtresse et l'aisance ont touch nos anctres aussi. Eh bien, Nous les avons saisis

soudain, sans qu'ils s'en rendent compte. 96: Si les habitants des cits avaient cru et avaient t pieux, Nous leur aurions certainementaccord des bndictions du ciel et de la terre. Mais ils ont dmenti et Nous les avons donc saisis, pour ce qu'ils avaient

acquis101: Voil les cits dont Nous te racontons certaines de leurs nouvelles. [A ceux-l,] en vrit, leurs messagers leur avaientapport les preuves, mais ils n'taient pas prts accepter ce qu'auparavant ils avaient trait de mensonge. C'est ainsi qu'Allah scelle lescurs des mcrants. 102: Et Nous n'avons trouv chez la plupart d'entre eux aucun respect de l'engagement; mais Nous avons trouv la

plupart d'entre eux pervers.

7:90: Aber die fhrende Schar aus seinem Volk, die unglubig war, sagte: "Wenn ihr Su'aib folgt, dann werdet ihr frwahr Verlierer sein.91: Daergriff sie das Zittern, und am Morgen lagen sie in ihrer Wohnsttte auf den Brsten da. 92: Diejenigen, die Su'aib der Lge bezichtigen,

waren, als htten sie (berhaupt) nicht darin gewohnt. Diejenigen, die Su'aib der Lge bezichtigten, waren (nun) selbst die Verlierer. 93: Sokehrte er sich von ihnen ab und sagte: "O mein Volk, ich habe euch doch die Botschaften meines Herrn ausgerichtet und euch gut geraten.

Wie sollte ich betrbt sein ber unglubige Leute?" 94: Und Wir haben in keine Stadt Propheten gesandt, ohne da Wir ber ihre

Bewohner Not und Leid htten kommen lassen, auf da sie in Unterwrfigkeit flehen mgen. 95: Hierauf tauschten Wir anstelle des BsenGutes ein, bis sie (sich und ihren Besitz) vermehrten und sagten: "Schon unseren Vtern ist Leid und (auch) Freude widerfahren." Daergriffen Wir sie pltzlich, ohne da sie merkten. 96: Htten aber die Bewohner der Stdte geglaubt und wren sie gottesfrchtig gewesen,htten Wir ihnen bestimmt Segnungen von dem Himmel und der Erde aufgetan. Aber sie erklrten (die Botschaft) fr Lge, und so ergriffenWir sie fr das, was sie erworben hatten101: Das sind die Stdte. ber sie erzhlen Wir dir (einiges) von ihren Berichten. Ihre Gesandten

kamen ja zu ihnen mit den klaren Beweisen, aber sie konnten nicht an das glauben, was sie zuvor fr Lge erklrt hatten. So versiegeltAllah die Herzen der Unglubigen. 102: Und Wir fanden bei den meisten von ihnen keine Vertragstreue, sondern Wir fanden (, da) die

meisten von ihnen frwahr Frevler (waren).

26:176. The companions of the thicket / Woods denied the messengers.177. When Shu'ayb said to them, "Willyou not fear Allah ? 178. Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.179. So fear Allah and obey me.180.

And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.181. Give fullmeasure and do not be of those who cause loss.182:And weigh with an even balance.183. And do not

deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption.184. And fear He whocreated you and the former creation."185. They said, "You are only of those affected by magic.186. You arebut a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars.187. So cause to fall upon us

fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful."188. He said, "My Lord is most knowing of what youdo."189. And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was thepunishment of a terrible day.190. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.191. And

indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.[26 ash-Shura:176-191]

78:And the companions of the Wood were [also] wrongdoers.79:So We took retribution from them, and indeed,both [cities] are on a clear highway. [15 al Hijr:78-79]

26:176:: Les gens d'Al-Ayka traitrent de menteurs les Messagers. 177: Lorsque Chuayb leur dit: Ne craindrez-vous pas [Allah]. 178: Je suispour vous un messager digne de confiance.179: Craignez Allah donc et obissez-moi, 180: et je ne vous demande pas de salaire pour

cela; mon salaire n'incombe qu'au Seigneur de l'univers. 181: Donnez la pleine mesure et n'en faites rien perdre [aux gens]. 182: et pesezavec une balance exacte. 183: Ne donnez pas aux gens moins que leur d; et ne commettez pas de dsordre et de corruption sur terre.184: Et craignez Celui qui vous a crs, vous et les anciennes gnrations. 185: Ils dirent: Tu es certes du nombre des ensorcels;

186: Tu n'es qu'un homme comme nous; et vraiment nous pensons que tu es du nombre des menteurs. 187: Fais donc tomber sur nous

des morceaux du ciel si tu es du nombre des vridiques! 188: Il dit: Mon Seigneur sait mieux ce que vous faites. 189: Mais ils letraitrent de menteur. Alors, le chtiment du jour de l'Ombre les saisit. Ce fut le chtiment d'un jour terrible. 190: Voil bien l un prodige.

Cependant, la plupart d'entre eux ne croient pas. 191: Et ton Seigneur, c'est en vrit Lui le Tout Puissant, le Trs Misricordieux.

15:78: Et les habitants d'al-Aka taient [aussi] des injustes.German 79: Nous Nous sommes donc vengs d'eux. Et ces deux [cits], vraiment,sont sur une route bien vidente [que vous connaissez].

nicht unheilstiftend Verderben an. 184: Und furchtet Denjenigen, Der euch und die frheren Geschpfe erschaffen hat." 185: Sie sagten:"Du gehrst ja nur zu denjenigen, die einem starken Zauber verfallen sind. 186: Du bist nur ein menschliches Wesen wie wir. Wir meinenwahrlich, da du zu den Lgnern gehrst. 187: Lasse doch Stcke vom Himmel auf uns herabfallen, wenn du zu den Wahrhaftigen

gehrst." 188: Er sagte: "Mein Herr wei am besten, was ihr tut." 189: Aber sie bezichtigten ihn der Lge. Da ergriff sie die Strafe desTages der schattenspendenden Wolke; gewi es war die Strafe eines gewaltigen Tages. 190: Darin ist wahrlich ein Zeichen, doch sind die

meisten von ihnen nicht glubig. 191: Und dein Herr ist frwahr der Allmchtige und Barmherzige.

15:78: Und die Bewohner des Dickichts taten frwahr Unrecht, 79: so bten Wir an ihnen Vergeltung. Beide liegen frwahr an einem deutlichenWeg.

11) THE PEOPLE OF MOSES :Drowned Pharaoh, Haman, Buried Qarun and Punished Israelites.

28:36:So when Moses came to them (Egyptians) with Our signs as clear evidences, they said, This is not exceptinvented magic, and we have not heard of this [religion] among our forefathers.

37. And Moses said, My Lord is more knowing [than we or you] of who has come with guidance from Him and to

whom will be succession in the home. Indeed, wrongdoers do not succeed.38. And Pharaoh said, O eminent ones, I have not known you to have a god other than me. Then ignite for me, OHaman, [a fire] upon the clay and make for me a tower that I may look at the God of Moses. And indeed, I do

think he is among the liars.39. And he was arrogant, he and his soldiers in the land, without right. And they thought that they would not be

returned to Us (Allah). 40. So We took him and his soldiers and threw them into the sea. So see how was theend of the wrongdoers.41. And We made them leaders inviting to the Fire, and on the Day of Resurrection

they will not be helped. 42. And We caused to overtake them in this world a curse, and on the Day ofResurrection they will be of the despised. 43. And We gave Moses the Scripture, after We had destroyed the

former generations, as enlightenment for the people and guidance and mercy that they might be reminded.[28 al-QaSaS 36-43]

Vraiment, les injustes ne russiront pas.38: Et Pharaon dit: O notables, je ne connais pas de divinit pour vous, autre que moi. Hmn, allume-moi du feu

sur l'argile puis construis-moi une tour peut-tre alors monterai-je jusqu'au Dieu de Mose. Je pense plutt qu'il est dunombre des menteurs. 39: Et il s'enfla d'orgueil sur terre ainsi que ses soldats, sans aucun droit. Et ils pensrentqu'ils ne seraient pas ramens vers Nous. 40: Nous le saismes donc, ainsi que ses soldats, et les jetmes dans le

flot. Regarde donc ce qu'il est advenu des injustes! 41: Nous fmes d'eux des dirigeants qui appellent les gens auFeu. Et au Jour de la Rsurrection ils ne seront pas secourus. 42: Nous les fmes suivre, dans cette vie ici-bas, d'unemaldiction. Et au Jour de la Rsurrection, ils seront parmi les honnis. 43: Nous avons en effet, donn le Livre

Mose, - aprs avoir fait prir les anciennes gnrations, - en tant que preuves illuminantes pour les gens, ainsi queguide et misricorde afin qu'ils se souviennent.

28:36: Als nun Musa mit Unseren Zeichen als klare Beweise kam, sagten sie: "Das ist nur ersonnene Zauberei. Und wirhaben so etwas bei unseren Vorvtern nicht gehrt.37: Musa sagte: "Mein Herr wei besser, wer von Ihm her die

Rechtleitung bringt und wem die letztendliche Wohnsttte gehren wird. Gewi, den Ungerechten wird es nicht wohlergehen.38: Und Fir'aun sagte: "O ihr fhrende Schar, keinen anderen Gott wei ich fr euch als mich (selbst). So

entfache mir, o Haman, einen Brand auf Lehm, und mache mir einen Hochbau, auf da ich zum Gott Musasemporsteige. Ich glaube frwahr, da er zu den Lgnern gehrt.39: Er und seine Heerscharen verhielten sich ohneRecht hochmtig auf der Erde und glaubten, da sie (dereinst) nicht zu Uns zurckgebracht wrden. 40: Da ergriffen

Wir ihn und seine Heerscharen und warfen sie dann in das groe Gewsser. So schau, wie das Ende derUngerechten war. 41: Und Wir machten sie zu Anfhrern, die zum (Hllen)feuer einladen. Und am Tag der

Auferstehung wird ihnen keine Hilfe zuteil werden. 42: Und Wir lieen ihnen einen Fluch im Diesseits nachfolgen, undam Tag der Auferstehung werden sie zu den Verabscheuten gehren. 43: Und Wir gaben ja Musa die Schrift -,nachdem Wir die frheren Geschlechter vernichteten, - als einsichtbringende Zeichen fr die Menschen und als

Rechtleitung und Barmherzigkeit, auf da sie bedenken mgen.28:36: () , : -

29:39: And [We destroyed] Qarun and Pharaoh and Haman. And Moses had already come to them with clearevidences, and they were arrogant in the land, but they were not out runners [of Our punishment].30. So eachWe seized for his sin; and among them were those upon whom We sent a storm of stones, and among themwere those who were seized by the blast [from the sky], and among them were those whom We caused the

earth to swallow, and among them were those whom We drowned. And Allah would not have wronged them,but it was they who were wronging themselves. [29 Ankabut: 39, 40]

54:41: And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 42. They denied Our signs, all of them, so We

seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. Are your disbelievers better thanthose [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 44.Or do they say (O Muhammad), We are anassembly supporting [each other]? 45.[Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in

retreat].[54 Qamar:41-45]28:62. And [O Muhammad] on the Day He will call them and say, Where are My 'partners' which you used to

claim? 63. And it will be said, Invoke your 'partners'" and they will invoke them; but they will not respond tothem, and they will see the punishment. If only they had followed guidance! 64.And it will be said, Invoke your

'partners. And (when) they will invoke them; but they shall not respond to them, and they will see thepunishment. If only they had followed guidance!67. But as for one who had repented, believed, and done

righteousness, it is promised by Allah that he will be among the successful. [28 al-QaSaS 62-64,67]

2:47:O children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favor which I bestowed upon You and that I preferred you to all others (for My message).48.Then guard yourselves against a day when one soul shall not avail another nor shall intercession be accepted for her nor shall

compensation be taken from her nor shall anyone be helped (from outside).:54:And remember Moses said to his people: O my people!Ye have indeed wronged yourselves by your worship of the calf so turn (in repentance) to your Maker and slay yourselves (the wrong-doers); that will be better for you in the sight of your Maker. Then He turned toward you (in forgiveness); for He is Oft-returning Most

Merciful.[2 Baqarah:47,48, 54]7:163. Ask them concerning the town standing close by the sea. Behold! they transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath. For on the day of theirSabbath their fish did come to them openly holding up their heads but on the day they had no Sabbath they came not: thus did We make atrial of them for they were given to transgression.164.When some of them said: "why do ye preach to a people whom Allah will destroy or

visit with a terrible punishment?" Said the preachers: "to discharge our duty to your Lord and perchance they may fear him." 165.When theydisregarded the warnings that had been given them We rescued those who forbade evil; but We visited the wrong-doers with a grievous

punishment because they were given to transgression. 166.When in their insolence they transgressed (all) prohibition We said to them: "Beye apes despised and rejected.167. Behold! thy Lord did declare that He would send against them to the Day of Judgment those who would

afflict them with grievous penalty. Thy Lord is quick in retribution but he is also Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful. [7 al-Araaf163-167]2:87:We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of Apostles; We gave Jesus the son of Mary clear (Signs) and

strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you an Apostle with what ye yourselves desire not ye arepuffed up with pride? Some ye called impostors and others ye slay!

And Whenever a Messenger from Allah came to them CONFIRMING THAT WHICH WAS WITH THEM, a party of those who had beengiven the Scripture THREW THE SCRIPTURE OF ALLAH BEHIND THEIR BACKS AS IF THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT IT

CONTAINED. 2 Ba arah:87, 101

2:47: O Enfants d'Isral, rappelez-vous Mon bienfait dont Je vous ai combls, (Rappelez-vous) que Je vous ai prfrs tous les peuples (de l'poque). 48: Etredoutez le jour o nulle me ne suffira en quoi que ce soit une autre; o l'on n'acceptera d'elle aucune intercession; et o on ne recevra d'elle aucune

vous-mmes en prenant le Veau pour idole. Revenez donc votre Crateur; puis, tuez donc les coupables vous-mmes: ce serait mieux pour vous,auprs de votre Crateur!... C'est ainsi qu'Il agra votre repentir; car c'est Lui, certes, le Repentant et le Misricordieux!

7:163: Et interroge-les au sujet de la cit qui donnait sur la mer, lorsqu'on y transgressait le Sabbat! Que leurs poissons venaient eux faisant surface, au jourde leur Sabbat, et ne venaient pas eux le jour o ce n'tait pas Sabbat! Ainsi les prouvions-Nous pour la perversit qu'ils commettaient.164: Et quand

parmi eux une communaut dit: Pourquoi exhortez-vous un peuple qu'Allah va anantir ou chtier d'un chtiment svre? Ils rpondirent: Pourdgager notre responsabilit vis--vis de votre Seigneur; et que peut-tre ils deviendront pieux! 165: Puis, lorsqu'ils oublirent ce qu'on leur avait

rappel, Nous sauvmes ceux qui (leur) avaient interdit le mal et saismes par un chtiment rigoureux les injustes pour leurs actes pervers. 166: Puis,lorsqu'ils refusrent (par orgueil) d'abandonner ce qui leur avait t interdit, Nous leur dmes: Soyez des singes abjects 167: Et lorsque ton Seigneur

annona qu'Il enverra certes contre eux quelqu'un qui leur imposera le pire chtiment jusqu'au Jour de la Rsurrection. En vrit ton Seigneur est prompt punir mais Il est aussi Pardonneur et Misricordieux.

2:87: Certes, Nous avons donn le Livre Mose; Nous avons envoy aprs lui des prophtes successifs. Et Nous avons donn des preuves Jsus fils deMarie, et Nous l'avons renforc du Saint-Esprit. Est-ce qu' chaque fois, qu'un Messager vous apportait des vrits contraires vos souhaits vous vousenfliez d'orgueil? Vous traitiez les uns d'imposteurs et vous tuiez les autres... 101: Et quand leur vint d'Allah un messager confirmant ce qu'il y avait dj

avec eux, certains qui le Livre avait t donn, jetrent derrire leur dos le Livre d'Allah comme s'ils ne savaient pas!2:47: O Kinder Israils, gedenkt Meiner Gunst, die Ich euch erwiesen habe, und da Ich euch vor den (anderen) Weltenbewohnern bevorzugt habe. 48: Und htet

euch vor einem Tag, an dem keine Seele etwas anstelle einer anderen bernehmen kann und von keiner Frsprache noch Ersatz(leistung) angenommenwird und ihnen keine Hilfe zuteil wird!.. 54: Und als Musa zu seinem Volk sagte: "O mein Volk, ihr habt euch selbst Unrecht zugefgt, indem ihr das Kalb

Dein Herr ist frwahr schnell im Bestrafen,

aber Er ist auch wahrlich Allvergebend und Barmherzig.2:87: Und Wir gaben bereits Musa die Schrift und lieen nach ihm die Gesandten folgen. Und Wir gaben 'Isa, dem Sohn Maryams, die klaren Beweise und

strkten ihn mit dem Heiligen Geist. War es nicht (so), da jedesmal, wenn euch (Juden) ein Gesandter etwas berbrachte, was euren Neigungen nichtentsprach, ihr euch hochmtig verhieltet, indem ihr eine Gruppe (der Gesandten) der Lge bezichtigtet und eine (andere) Gruppe ttetet?.. 101: Und als

(nun) zu ihnen ein Gesandter von Allah gekommen ist, das besttigend, was ihnen (an Offenbarungen) bereits vorlag, da hat eine Gruppe von denjenigen,denen die Schrift gegeben wurde, das Buch Allahs hinter ihren Rcken geworfen, als ob sie nicht Bescheid wten.

10:98: Was there any town which seeing the scourge, believed, and their belief profited them except the people of Jonah? When theybelieved, We removed from them the disgraceful scourge and allowed them to enjoy their worldly life for a while.[10 Yunus:98]

68:48.So wait with patience for the Judgment of your Rabb and be not like the man of the fish who cried out (in distress) after havinggiven in to anger. 49.Had his Rabb not bestowed on him His Grace, he would certainly have been cast off on the naked shore,

while he was condemned. 50.But his Rabb choose him and included him among the righteous.[68 al Qalam 48-50]

37:139. Yunus (Jonah) was surely one of Our Rasools. 140. When he ran to the laden ship,141 took part in casting of lots, and wascondemned. 142. A whale swallowed him for he had become blameworthy.143.Had he not repented and became of those whoglorify Allah,144.he would certainly have remained inside the belly of whale till the Day of Resurrection.[37 as-Saffaat 139-144]

21:87.And remember Zun-nun when he departed in wrath: he imagined that We had no power over him! But he cried through thedepths of darkness There is no god but You: Glory be to You (Allah): I was indeed wrong! 88.So We listened to him: and

delivered him from distress: and thus do We deliver those who have faith. [21 al-Ambiya: 87-88]

2:257:Allah is the protector of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into the light.

And those who disbelieve - their patrons are false deities. They take them out of the light into darkness.

Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein

259:[Consider an example] of the one (Ezekiel) who passed by a township which had fallen into ruin.

He said, How will Allah bring this to life after its death? So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years; then Herevived him.

He said,How long have you remained? The man said, I have remained a day or part of a day.

He said, Rather, you have remained one hundred years. Look at your food and your drink; it has not changed withtime. And look at your donkey; and We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones [of this

donkey] - how We raise them and then We cover them with flesh.And when it became clear to him, he said, I know that Allah is over all things competent. [2 al Baqarah :257,259]

journe. Non! dit Allah, tu es rest cent ans. Regarde donc ta nourriture et ta boisson: rien ne s'est gt; maisregarde ton ne... Et pour faire de toi un signe pour les gens, et regarde ces ossements, comment Nous les

assemblons et les revtons de chair. Et devant l'vidence, il dit: Je sais qu'Allah est Omnipotent

Finsternisse. Das sind Insassen des (Hllen)feuers. Ewig werden sie darin bleiben .259: Oder (kennst du nicht)einen hnlichen, denjenigen, der an einer Stadt vorbeikam, die wst in Trmmern lag? Er sagte: "Wie sollte Allahdiese (Stadt) wieder lebendig machen, nachdem sie ausgestorben ist?" Da lie Allah ihn (fr) hundert Jahre tot sein.

Hierauf erweckte Er ihn und sagte: "Wie lange hast du verweilt?" Er sagte: "Ich verweilte einen Tag oder den Teileines Tages." Er sagte: "Nein! Vielmehr verweiltest du hundert Jahre. Nun schau deine Speise und dein Getrnk an!Sie sind nicht verfault. Und schau deinen Esel an! - Und damit Wir dich zu einem Zeichen machen fr die Menschen.

Und schau die Knochen an, wie Wir sie zusammensetzen und sie hierauf mit Fleisch bekleiden!" Nachdem es ihmklar geworden war, sagte er: "Ich wei (jetzt), da Allah zu allem die Macht hat."

18:4. Further to warn those who say Allah has begotten a son. 5.They have no knowledge about it, nor do theirforefathers, this is a monstrous word that comes from their mouths. They speak nothing but a lie9.You thinkthat the Companions of the Cave and Inscription were among Our wonderful signs?10.When those young men took refuge inthe cave, they said Our Lord! Have mercy on us from Yourself and guide us out of our ordeal.11.So We put upon their ears acover (put them into a deep sleep) for a number of years in the cave, 12. and then awakened them to find out which of the two

parties (believers and nonbelievers) could best tell the length of their stay. 13. Now We tell you their real story. They were youngmen who believed in their Lord, and on them We had bestowed Our guidance.14.We put courage in their hearts when theystood up and declared: Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, we shall never appeal to any other deity except Him,for if we do, we shall be saying something improper.15. These people of ours have taken for worship other gods besides Him; ifthey are right, why do they not bring forth any convincing proof of their divinity? Who is more wicked than the one who invents alie about Allah? 16.Then in their mutual consultation they said: Now that we have withdrawn from them and denounced those

deities whom they worship beside Allah, let us take refuge in some cave; our Lord will extend to us His mercy and facilitate us indisposing of our affairs19. In the same miraculous way We woke them up from sleep so that they could question one another.

One of them asked: "How long have you been here?" The others answered: "Maybe we have been here for a day or part of aday." Finally they concluded: "Our Lord knows best how long we have stayed here. Anyhow let one of us go to the city with thissilver coin, and let him find who has the purest food and bring us something to eat. Let him behave with caution and let him not

disclose our whereabouts. 20.For if they find you out, they will stone you to death, or force you back into their faith and in thatcase you will never attain felicity. [18, Kahf 4-5, 9-16, 19-20]

sjour. 13: Nous allons te raconter leur rcit en toute vrit. Ce sont des jeunes gens qui croyaient en leur Seigneur; et Nous leur avons accord les plusgrands moyens de se diriger [dans la bonne voie]. 14: Nous avons fortifi leurs curs lorsqu'ils s'taient levs pour dire: Notre Seigneur est le Seigneur

des cieux et de la terre: jamais nous n'invoquerons de divinit en dehors de Lui, sans quoi, nous transgresserions dans nos paroles. 15: Voil que nosconcitoyens ont adopt en dehors de Lui des divinits. Que n'apportent-ils sur elles une preuve vidente? Quel pire injuste, donc que celui qui invente unmensonge contre Allah? 16: Et quand vous vous serez spars d'eux et de ce qu'ils adorent en dehors d'Allah, rfugiez-vous donc dans la caverne: votreSeigneur rpandra de Sa misricorde sur vous et disposera pour vous un adoucissement votre sort 19: Et c'est ainsi que Nous les ressuscitmes, afinqu'ils s'interrogent entre eux. L'un parmi eux dit: Combien de temps avez-vous demeur l? Ils dirent: Nous avons demeur un jour ou une partie d'unjour. D'autres dirent: Votre Seigneur sait mieux combien [de temps] vous y avez demeur. Envoyez donc l'un de vous la ville avec votre argent que

voici, pour qu'il voie quel aliment est le plus pur et qu'il vous en apporte de quoi vous nourrir. Qu'il agisse avec tact; et qu'il ne donne l'veil personne survous. 20: Si jamais ils vous attrapent, ils vous lapideront ou vous feront retourner leur religion, et vous ne russirez alors plus jamais.
