They make five vows. The main one is to eat and drink everything. Other religions prohibit drinking alcohol but it is looked upon as a holy thing by them. They openly drink alcohol, and smoke cigarettes.

Their baba Gurbachan openly declared that he would put his foot on the Guru Granth Sahib and claimed that he was the real Guru.
