THIRD GRADE DISTANCE LEARNING ASSIGNMENTS

Please make sure assignments for specials areas are completed. The day for specials is listed
below. You only need to do the specials assignment for the day we are off, i.e. if a snow day
falls on a Monday, 3G does “Library” assignment and 3S does “PE” assignment. The rest of the
assignments and accompanying worksheets are attached.

Math Complete the next lesson in Simple Solutions (based on where you are in class) Complete A-maze-ing Multiples of 3 (included). Reading Read your A.R. book for 20 minutes. Write 3 words that were new to you or 3 words of which you weren’t completely sure of the definition. Look up the definitions of those 3 words and write them on a piece of loose leaf paper; be sure to include the part of speech. Religion God gives everyone talents to serve others. Tell how people in your life use their talents to serve (help) you. Include your parents, grandparents, siblings, teachers and friends. Write on loose leaf paper. Science Watch the Brainpop video "Moon Phases". Write a definition of "waxes" and "wanes". Describe what a new moon is and what a gibbous moon is. Use loose leaf paper to complete. Social Studies Add to the “People Connections” worksheet you did on Day #2 by making one of your own. Make it look like the one I gave you, except you only need to have 5 people on it.
