Childhoodobesityisarealdiseasethathasmorethantripledinthelast30years.Inchildrenages6‐11itincreasedfrom6.5%in1980to19.6%in2008.Inadolescentsages12‐19itincreasedfrom5%to18.1%duringthesametimeframe.
