What is the point of forensic investigation into the events of September 11, if there is no official “suspect” to convict??
Imagine a murder trial where ballistic evidence and the “murder weapon” is presented to a jury, but there is no suspect identified to even convict.
In order to convict a suspect, a case must be presented showing, beyond a “reasonable doubt” the following burdens of proof: MOTIVE, OPPORTUNITY, and MEANS – (how the crime was committed.)

JALALABAD, Afghanistan (February 15, 2001 8:19 p.m. EST U.N. drug control officers said the Taliban religious militia has nearly wiped out opium production in Afghanistan -- once the world's largest producer -- since banning poppy cultivation last summer.
A 12-member team from the U.N. Drug Control Program spent two weeks searching most of the nation's largest opium-producing areas and found so few poppies that they do not expect any opium to come out of Afghanistan this year.
"We are not just guessing. We have seen the proof in the fields," said Bernard Frahi, regional director for the U.N. program in Afghanistan and Pakistan. He laid out photographs of vast tracts of land cultivated with wheat alongside pictures of the same fields taken a year earlier -- a sea of blood-red poppies.

An estimated 854,000 people, nearly 1.5 times as many people as live in Washington, D.C., hold top-secret security clearances.
In Washington and the surrounding area, 33 building complexes for top-secret intelligence work are under construction or have been built since September 2001. Together they occupy the equivalent of almost three Pentagons or 22 U.S. Capitol buildings - about 17 million square feet of space.

Many security and intelligence agencies do the same work, creating redundancy and waste. For example, 51 federal organizations and military commands, operating in 15 U.S. cities, track the flow of money to and from terrorist networks.
Analysts who make sense of documents and conversations obtained by foreign and domestic spying share their judgment by publishing 50,000 intelligence reports each year - a volume so large that many are routinely ignored.

Blair said he did not believe there was overlap and redundancy in the intelligence world. "Much of what appears to be redundancy is, in fact, providing tailored intelligence for many different customers," he said.
Who, exactly, is the target of these 854,000 intelligence agents with “top secret clearance”? Could it be Al-Quaeda and Osama bin Laden – whom CIA Director Pinetta estimated on national television to consist of approximately 150 extremists in Afghanistan and Pakistan?

The proposed National Security Agency facility is widely believed to be for domestic communications interception purposes.
