Badger was our pick of the Premium Beef Bull Sale in Manitoba. I wasn’t the only one to have this fellow from the Workman’s marked in the catalogue, but when all was said and done, we brought home a new heifer bull. He went to work in the heifer pen this past spring with enthusiasm! We couldn’t be happier with his muscling, quiet demeanor, deep dark red color, and his numbers. Badger had a nice 74lb birthweight of his own and is ranked in the top 1% for CE, top 3% for BWT and top 1% for MCE, making him a heifer specialist. With calving right around the corner, we’re excited to see the calves this string of Tymarc heifers will give their new owners.

Visitors picked her out right away and so have we for this sale. She is a super, deep-bodied, dark red heifer is a sister to one of our high sellers at this sale last year, selected by Glenn Norton for Tri-K Cattle Company at Beaverlodge, Alberta who are building a quality herd. Shawna is very similar with maybe a bit more natural muscle. Bull or heifer, her Badger calf will be dark red and polled. Definitely a feature lot here from us at Tymarc.
