什么是机票的再确认手续

( Reconfirmation )? 按照国际航空惯例,对于往返和联程机票,如果在某地停留时间超过 72 小时,无论是否已订妥后续航班机位,客人均需要提前至少 72 小时在该地办理后续航班的机位再确认手续。一般方法是:打电话给航空公司告知是否按时乘坐后面航班继续旅行。否则,航空公司有权取消机位。

Part One: Warming-up

Airline Reconfirmation Rule A passenger having reserved a seat for a

continuing or return trip on an international or regional flight should reconfirm his reservation not later than 72 hours before the flight departure, if he is to stay at the continuing or return point for more than 72 hours. Failure to make such reconfirmation will result in the cancellation of the seat reserved. A passenger staying at the continuing or return point for less than 72 hours does not need to do so.
