Full time students (within MA, BA or PhD programs) are also eligi-ble to take part in EU student exchange program called Erasmus+ and have a possibility to spend a semester or a year abroad on full scholarship in one of 30 European countries.

Exchange programmes If the EU is not enough, you can go on exchange to study with a high amount scholarship in Latin American countries or East

European countries (e.g. Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia) within Credit Mobility

Programme or Mizuta Scholarship in Japan.

Bilateral exchange Students studying all over the world at partner universities of the University of Lodz are welco-med to take part in a one semester or one year free of charge exchan-

ge program in the framework of bilateral agreements. The only

requirement is that the partner uni-versities have a signed agreement.

Pay less or study for freeThose who can study for free (on simi-lar terms as the locals), include citi-

zens of the EU/EEA countries, hol-ders of the Pole's Card (Karta Polaka),

and some other categories (check our website). Foreigners can also apply for the Polish Government Scholarship which allows them to study free of charge or with a scholarship.

University of Lodz discounts tuition fee by 50% for non-EU coun-tries listed. Check out if you are eligible for 50% discount this year! A 50% discount also applies to Polish origin worldwide. Contact us at [email protected]

There are also BA and MA programs taught in English. There are 95 nationalities currently studying at the University of Lodz

– over 2000 international students each academic year. UL strives to educate active global citizens who think critically, under-stand the complexity and the diver-sity of perspectives which underline most global problems.

Lodz, situated 125 km away from Warsaw, is Poland’s third largest city with a population of 720 000. The city is easily acces-sible from any part of Poland and Europe (airport). Lodz is proud of its 19th century industrial histo-ry. The city attracts tourists with many festivals and cultural events that are held annually, among

them Fashion Week - Poland, International Design Festival, Light Move Festival, Film Festival and many others.Lodz is a major academic cen-ter in Poland with many higher education institutions.
